See, at the end of the day nobody cares about the fatties and the emos, when they say they want a nerdy girl they want someone who stays in shape and occasionally references Doctor Who.
If they're attractive why would they be on the Internet when they could be at clubs getting Chad? What makes it rare is that they actually have a hobby online, which is unusual because 1)girls don't have hobbies and 2) if they do it's for external purposes.
It's less rare now because they can make money by existing.
