South Park

What do you guys think of Season 20 so far?

I think it's pretty terrific, almost gripping

not as good as season 19 so far but it has potential to be a lot better

I think the only negative is that these episodes are a lot less standalone than last season, but binge watching this season seems like it will be really fun.

Not as many good laughs per episodes as past seasons, but I'm enjoying watching the story unfold. Although I am a bit disappointed that the last two episodes haven't really had much of their own individual theme/topic. Still holding out for a Chinpokomon Go episode.

they already said they arent doing it, and that fad is dead already. No way they are

Trey doesn't want to do one. Besides, Pokemon Go isn't nearly as hot as it was over the summer.

Episode 1 was shit.
Episode 2 was fantastic 10/10; but then again I'm part of the very culture Matt and Trey are making fun of so there is some bias there.

Episode 3 was alright, I'm mostly just interested to see where the hell their going with Cartman and his new gf.

very few jokes. not really laughing at the social commentary since it's so over the top. i'd rather the "dude. it's so obvious you're wrong" lazy writing they had in the past than this.

do they realize they can fix the election by just having the show tell everyone to vote johnson?

>their
they're

>Johnson

I don't think anyone wants to associate with that clown anymore.

I've dropped South Park. I thought 19 was really weak but 20 is straight shit. As far as I'm concerned it's on the same level as Family Guy and Simpsons now.

This. 100%

Randy starting to come around to Garrison after he breaks down on TV won me over.

To bad.
Were do you think we are?

The montage of Gerald trolling is one of the best things they've done in years.

triggered

where did this Naming the Jew thing come from anyway

I'm hoping that Kenny is the one who knows Gerald's identity
but its probably not going to be him and is going to be the Danish woman instead

the BIGGEST problem is the election shit, NOBODY thinks its funny and it's just there to eat up time. The strongest parts of the episode deal with randy, gerald and the kids.

Why not?

Alt-right faggots did this thing called echoing where they would put triple brackets around Jewish people's names so they'd signal to each other not to trust them.

So if an article is written by Dan Shlong it'd be tagged as (((Dan Shlong))) and they'd go, "Ah, this is a member of the Zionist agenda".

That's not limited to jews.

His borderline absurd ignorance

>to bad
too bad

I don't know what you're referring to.

like anyone cares about former president hernandez or dominguez or suarez

I think season 19 will probably be there better season, it was their best one in years, maybe best ever.
This season does look promising but the fact that they are only going with a continuous story instead of "stand-alone + underlying story" looks like it might not be as good.

Season 20 will probably be better to bingewatch when it's finally all out though.

Don't listen to that other faggot.

>someone shoops dicks in women's mouths
>all the girls get mad at all the boys
>the boys assume it's Cartman causing trouble as usual
>turns out it's Kyle's dad

Then Cred Forums went nuts because they took it as showing the Jew driving a wedge between the genders and people in general.

Its very much a serial.

The last two episodes were kinda dull on their own, but important to the overall plot.

Heidi will just show Cartman a picture of a vag in a textbook. To think otherwise is setting yourself up for disappointment.

The delivery of that line
"Every time Amy Schumer talks about her vagina I lose my fucking mind." was so perfect that I lost my fucking mind.

Still nothing from Kenny. So I reckon Mysterion will make an appearance to investigate what's going on.
Also I think Cartman will crack at some point.

Dr. Jeurdge Titsgo got me this episode, and it was the first joke in the show.

I think the only reason I'm finding it funny is because it's basically targeting 00's era Cred Forums culture. It's being surprisingly accurate and fair all things considered.

do you think Jack Mehoffer will make an appearance

I'm sure Mike Hunt is on the case, now.

That final line from Cartman, with the music stopping and all, made me lose so fucking hard...

>They already had a debate segment made

So, do you think they worked overtime to make that segment happen in time for this week, or did they just predict what was going to happen?

very likely predicted since they assumed hilldog was gonna be a complete robutt

it happened on monday night and they probably turn that shit in on tuesday

In agreement with most of what people are saying here. The episodes are as funny so far but the pace of the story is really satisfying. I think this might be one of the funnest seasons to binge.

it would be funny if the entire jewish conspiracy was just a way for uptight jewish people to unwind and that jewish analog shitposting was a tradition going back decades

I'm really interested in what this season means for the show in general. Last season had, among others, a theme of purgatory between wanting to speak your mind without being labeled a bigot. Now we have Gerald being deliberately hateful for attention like Trump and Garrison previously. I'm fascinated by how Gerald's outbursts will relate to the tug-of-war of political correctness from last season and the irreverence that made South Park so unique.

Don't question idiocy, it's self-evident

Link to the pic on /pco/ someone drew last thread

That second keyboard had me dying.

I'm actually a little disappointed they found him out so quickly.

but who is they?

A real troll

MEMBER THE GOONIES?

They guessed and probably just set the color of their clothes at the last minute. The actual debate was obviously very different.

It works when you realize Eric is exactly the type of person that would lose his fucking mind at vagina jokes. He genuinely thought vagina and queef jokes were hilarious.

It went farther than that since there was a plugin for certain browsers that would help them easily find echoed names to dogpile on with harassment. Then people started echoing their own names in protest and the alt-right's dick and balls fell off

seriously. who the fuck cares about aleppo? when has it ever come up in anything except like, some old arab tales?
asking what he thinks of the situation in aleppo is like 'what do you think of the situation on 22th street in baghdad?' it's stupidly specific

everyone's aware those are liberals, right? like all antisemitism. literally only conservatives care about israel and protecting it from the mudpeople

Really fucking great. Hilarious, and a great take on the 2016 election.

Nope, those were stormfags. Stormfags are literally far right conservatives.

Shut the fuck up alt-right faggot stop pretending your shit don't stink.

I think the season is pretty boring so far. I really hope everything is actually leading up o anything because last season failed at doing that. I hoped it would be a trilogy but to have another episode about Gerald trolling is really turning me off from watching further.

That's how it started, first with Jews and then with people who supported Jews and then with anyone even vaguely connected to the ~Jewish conspiracy~.

>seriously. who the fuck cares about aleppo?
Aleppo, as in, "the picture of the fucked up little boy that everyone feels bad for" Aleppo?

People running for president care about Aleppo you dumb faggot.

It sucks hard
It manages to be both slow and rushed. Nothing is correctly developped, there's 5 micro stories per episode trying to develop a big plot, which fails to generate any interest. Everything is too easy, the berries were fun the first time but not anymore. The election was the least interesting plot of 19 and now it's the focus, seriously fuck them, i want my Ad War and unrealistic clusterfuck only they could pull off

You see the fun of it was Dan Shlong's article might be racebaity "We White People Need to..." garbage and the brackets let you know it was written by someone who doesn't consider themselves ethnically 'white'

That's all it was. You can keep believing the narrative you're familiar with if you want.

It's ok, but nothing really stands out so far. Season 19 was infinitely better.

Entertaining for the most part, though I'm weirded out by their choice of using a literally-who country like Denmark as a major plot point

It's because the mythical creature troll comes from there.

Ooh, I LOOOOOOVE to member the Goonies!

Hoooolllly shit.

I disagree. I laughed so hard last episode when Garrison flat out told everybody how shitty of a president he would be and everyone just kept egging him on cause he's telling the truth.

Yeah, Garrison was great this episode. And you couldn't really have the Randy plot line without him.

It's much more prominent in Norway and Sweden, they have all the mountains and valleys where the trolls live. Denmark is disgustingly flat, and pretty much more like Germans

This is the biggest problem IMO. We've been hearing about women, Twitter, the presidential race, and memberberries for three weeks. It's boring at this point.

It's true, Denmark is flat like an unfortunate Japanese schoolgirl.

It's absolutely necessary to say (((white people))) when the Jews talk about themselves being white.

They only do it when it suits them.

what's the best religion /co?, Judaism seemed interesting but I don't want to be an oppressed minority. I'm not happy right now

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Needs more Tweek and Craig, though I am happy about Cartman and Heidi become a new shipping couple.

I kinda want a drawing with a dfc Denmark jealous of voluptuous Sweden and Norway

is there a version of this with sound?

It's aight, loving depressed Garrison

That's literally just Mormons in disguise

For Christ's sake user those are children.

TFW most of last episode was about Cartman getting laid but the AVclub rated it low for shitting on Hillary

avclub.com/tvclub/occasionally-funny-south-park-has-odd-view-weeks-p-243317

why would you visit sites that specialise in cuckolding

How does SB99's art manage to be both completely generic yet instantly recognizable?

>Boston starts playing

I could'nt stop
ROCKIN'
ROCKIN'

It was completely oposite sadly.

Hillary was lively and had showmanship even.

Trump was skemish and pathetic, now that one they got right in a sense.

I'm conflicted on New South Park
I absolutely love the new seasons and find them hilarious, but at the same time something's missing and I feel it's the simplicity.

Do you think the episodes would be better if they condensed these seperate plots into their own episodes?

It's because before each episode had its own plot, now every episode has a little plot connected to a bigger one in the entire season.

This season will be a good binge watch.

Hey! That's my president!

>but at the same time something's missing
The old seasons were a lot comfier and cuter, the plots were more simple and the kids were more innocent and naive.
Not to say the new change is bad or anything, but it's an inevitable change.

None.

Buddhism

Pretty sure that's Jukebox Hero by Foreigner. The song Gerald was playing was Smokin by Boston.
