First episode was mediocre.
Second episode started off surprisingly funny and had some decent action, but then veered off into mediocrity half-way through, especially with the recycled body-swap plot.

I see the potential in this reboot, but so far they're not really living the bit of potential they have. But based on the possibilities, I'll still give this show a shot.

The dynamic between Ben and Gwen is pretty nice. It's still just a very watered down version of the original, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It doesn't seem like there's going to be much of an ongoing plot or anything. And man, that permanent blush is very distracting.

How were all the series in between this and the original?

Omniverse: Camp, largely toothless, but occasionally fun with plenty of waifus.

Much better than NuPPG and slightly more tolerable than TTG but that isn't really much of a feat

It seems to have been designed to be a lot roomier inside so they don't have to draw as many details in each shot, it looks like it could pass as a mobile home rather than an RV

this is the same character model. however, due to the seat belt getting in the way of the bust's original position, the animator simply drew it higher.
after all, character model and animations are flexible, especially for a body part as minor in terms of animation as a torso. animators won't spend a lot of time to things that aren't major importance like heads or hands.
