>The Sabertooth with one cigar in his claw

Hilarious

>homo erectus
>putside are adak and steve
Heh

That reminds me if that scene from Pride of Bagdad where the female lion gets gangbanged by the whole pride... that was fucking weird.

Do any of you guys think the satire wouldn't be as hard hitting if it wasn't attached to such a well known property?

Wait, if Pebbles is staying with the Rubbles, who is watching Dino?

I hope they reference the proposed spinoff series

If it was something else, it'd probably come across as too blatant and heavy-handed. Which it is, but that works for the Flintstones. I think it's a good fit.

Of course

Is this the Cleveland Show before there was a Cleveland Show?

>Nick Caveman

>Nick Caveman T-Shirt

Good stuff.

Not at all.
The Flintstones have always been a staple of the nuclear family, they're"The Modern Stone Age Family".

The comic's whole shtick is making one of the first pieces of entertainment to create the family sitcom cliche and subvert it.

This is way too good to be real

I'm sure he's fine

>like most early adopters, we got screwed

oh man this comic is attacking every weak spot there is.

>Adam and Steve

Someone can just drive over to give him food and water. He'll be fine. A kid actually needs adult supervision though.

Oh wow, how did I not notice that the first time.

Well yeah. What makes it work great with the Flintstones is that they're the "Modern" stone age family so it's fun to do social commentary satire with them

Adam and Steve dear Gerald this is great

>Homo Erectus
>Adam and Steve

It's an old joke but I still laughed

NOBODY'S noticed it, I'm fucking baffled.

Alright the cover made it look like Polygamy was the norm which made me wonder how being against Monogamy would work but I guess they just had orgies in caves.

So does this mean Fred and Wilma's traditional wedding were traditions they made up on the spot?

I'm pretty sure this is the best thing DC is doing right now

Nah by "tradition" it was more of a propert exchange 4goats for Wilma

It's certainly the "modern" stone age family.

I'm pretty sure it's the best thing anybody is doing right now. I'm shocked about that myself

>You will never drag home a beautiful cave wife.

Cept it looks like Cave Cosby there married a white woman the second go around.

>Adam and Steve
>homo erectus

Who knows so far, Wilma appears to have come from a different tribe of people.

>Nick Caveman

Nice

>You'll never buy her from her father with livestock.

That preview page mentions "Gerald", which might have been a call back to their church.

Yea Fred had to do the dowry and get permission from her father.

But Gerald is like a week old before that they were Morpists and before that it looked like Wilma had a different religion.

>Not just clubbing her and dragging her off?
Where's your sense of romance? Where's the spontaneity?

so when is the jetsons comic coming out?
next year?

Wilma's people were nomadic and so were followers of Morp, literally.

Yeah it hasn't been solicited yet, so probably early next year

Damn, this Flintsone book is consistently good, each issue was entertaining and well drawn.

>not supporting monogamous marriage
c'mon, it's DISTANT PAST YEAR!

get with it!

I know but the whole hand thing implied a spiritualism apart from Morp but I'm just spinning ideas.

Not going to look, want to be surprised.

FLEENSTONS!?

>mfw the sales for issue 3 will probably be 12,000

We don't deserve nice things

>tfw they have yet to create the cultural concept of GRAND DAD?

This is the fucking Flintstones! Why am enjoying these!?

love this series so much

It's good shit.

...

Maybe they should start making movies instead.

It's not helping Marvel's comic sales

I'm more surprised that this is the first thread I've seen someone besides me notice Homo Erectus.

I mean it was right there in the first issue! With a martini and everything!

>Implying Disney gives a fuck about comics
>Implying Time Warner gives a fuck about comics either
Maybe they should start making movies instead.
It'd be better then whatever Seth wanted to make anyway.

This is absolute gold

I may just have to go pick this up

I didn't read that i was a preview and kept waiting for the rest of the pages. Damn.

Are the rest of the DC/Hannah Barbera comics worth a shot?

Incredible! Just incredible comic book series!

I got nothing.

Please do. I want this comic to succeed so we can keep getting this gold.

It depends on your fancy. I'm pretty sure everyone who's actually read it likes Future Quest. Scooby Apocalypse is hit or miss. Wacky Raceland is pretty bad but I keep reading hoping to find the tie in with Scooby.

...

>12.000
That's less than my little pony idw comics.
>Check for jay Fosgsitt mlp comics and get mad just like me

That said, Ennis is going to write the Dick Dastardly spinoff.

I saw it in the first few threads too, but didn't expect it to be more than a one-off gag

Anyone has a link to threads for issues 1-3 ?
I remember reading this a while ago but i'm not sure at which one i stopped

What spinoff?

Also does anyone have a source on the supposed Jetsons comic?

>What spinoff?

>paper signs
TRIGGERED. Those are supposed to be slabs of stone.

Well that's got me hyped. Thanks user.

>Homo Erectus
My sides are in orbit.
The Rubbles, I imagine.

Maybe it's sheet rock.

Go to you LCS and pick them up user

That doesn't look like paper to me

What imageboard do the NEETS of Bedrock browse, Cred Forums?

Damn senpai, this is phenomenal. I just threw the trade on my wishlist. I can't wait for it to drop.

Awww good kitty

4chalk?

>because it wasn't around when I was a kid
Kek.

Best Big Two comic coming out right now, by far.

Idk which joke I like more,
Adam and Steve or the advertisement for agriculture.

4 Walls
A dark room people go in and spout utter nonsense to one another because so dark it is anonymous.

Yotsubasalt

4chalk's Cred Forums never shuts up about how Homo Habili are subhumans and the secret Cro-Magnon plot to get Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals to interbreed and make the Sapien species to go extinct

>proto-moot avatar is a saber-tooth
>he game the imageboard to a caveman who barely speaks the local language
>there's not enough space on the cave walls to keep this up

>Miserable couple that's been married for thirty years
Ah the classics.

Also. the insult later homo is used literally.

It's odd how the main artist omits the stubble on Fred and Barney but the cover doesn't.

Didio is a big supporter and Rebirth may be selling big enough to carry the rest of the line

>Is this the Cleveland Show before there was a Cleveland Show?

More like the Cave Good Times to the Flintstones' Cave Honeymooners.

>That episode where Cave James gets eaten by a T-Rex and the family has to adjust

>I love you, kitty!
>I prefer you to starvation.
Pretty accurate summation of human/cat relationship.

There's a cricket somewhere in the room and it's really fucking loud and I can't find the little motherfucker and I want it to die so badly that I don't have the words to describe it.

Fuck you, cricket.

I don't get it.

Im excited to see who wins.

This is incredible.

Even when its not social comentary stuff its glorious.

>auctual gay marriage in the alegory for gay mariage.
The absolute madmen.

Its funny people say you need to be subtle to do political stuff.
This proves there are exceptions.

Of course its already amazing without any of that stuff its just icing on the cake.

Please do it needs the sales

Flintstones have always been a political or social satire, so in this case political stuff makes sense being brought in the comic. What sucks is the political stuff in cape comics, who supposed to be modern fantasy and escapism, instead of political ground.

Capes have always been more political than flintstones. Anyways, it's retarded characterfaggotry for anyone to think that their fictional characters should be written just within a their head canon.

*Within the confined framework of their headcanon.

Damn, I want to go visit the alternate timeline where this show exists. What a bizarrely interesting cultural artifact to be able to bring back the DVD set of with me.

Capes have been invented for teenagers in the beginning. Teens don't give a shit about politics.

what is the objective of this comic? to make fun of monogamy? or to make fun of the new sjw age of cuckogamy? or is it trying to say that both kind of relationship coexist?

This comic is obviously too much for your mind to handle. I suggest sticking to Kate Leth comics and other strawman comics where the message is more one-sided.

Homosexuals mostly.

A CHILD DESERVES SEVERAL FATHERS AND ABOUT A DOZEN MOTHERS

>The food just pops right out of the ground!

I love that they're still amazed by simple shit but somehow also have rock iPhones.

holy shit, I could swear this is everything anyone wants for an adult humor comic yet nobody expected it with this franchise

bravo 10/10

it's making fun of anti gay marriage, plain and simple. Just slightly stale topical humor stop over analizing things.

It's making fun of people who thought gay marriage would end the world

Is this the average intelligence of children nowadays? They can't even comprehend a relatively simple satire comic?

Well the guy said "cuck" so I'll assume he's just some Cred Forums guy who seems to think everything about relationships is cheating and degeneration.

>trips
>gotta be true

>Adam and Steve
>Sabertooth with a fucking cigarette
>'Because it wasn't around when I was a kid'
>All this fucking glorious satire

I want that cute kitty.

GRAND DAD?

Persecution etc.

Early adopters (of technology, for example) often get an inferior product for an inflated price, because products tend to get refined over time.

The joke is their marriage is shit because they got the early adopter version.

Also, those who are among rhe first to adopt a new and controversial philosophy or lifestyle usually have a hard time being taken seriously, thus drawing the early adopter parallel.

I need that legal partnership bit as a reaction image.

Also being married sucks so being married for 30 years sucks really really hard

There's a lot more depth than that

I wish we could've gotten the last 6 issues of Prez too.

This is fantastic, hopefully it doesn't get cancelled prematurely.

you think mark browses Cred Forums, I feel like we are the only place the discusses this book

...

Wtf I love Flintstones now.

>Also being married sucks

If you suck at it, sure.

So, win-win there, Mark?

Don't be too fast, now.

How can you not get that they're making fun of anti gay marriage rhetoric?

The objective is funny satire by making people who don't understand modern society try to build a culture around it. The series' favorite joke is that the characters are surrounded by heavy-handed modern social commentary, but they all blissfully ignore what would set off a red flag for normal people in favor of worrying about ridiculous cavemen issues. For example, none of them really give a shit about the fickle nature of their religion because they're too busy bitching about how they want the church to make up better gods.
