I've served for several years with a state Democratic Party and on the DNC Technology Committee. I was also involved with the Temporary Rules Committee for the 2012 and 2016 Democratic Conventions.
Over the past month I've heard the following things from my colleagues:
- Growing feeling Clinton wasted August by trying to run out the clock too early.
- Growing frustration with Clinton's unwillingness to directly respond to Trump's attacks on her
- A feeling that has never been there before that this race may actually end up being fairly tight around the edges.
- A few people speaking quietly about what we can do in states where Clinton has raised large sums but hasn't been as active as the campaign schedule implied she would be.
I guess ask questions if you have them, pic is a recent email advising us to stay away from Wikileaks.
I was a proud user before getting into politics and I remain a proud but secret one today.
Jackson Fisher
You can still save your soul in the eyes ok Kek
Convince 5 dems to vote trump and you are admitted to the alt-right.
Caleb Bell
The bitch is going to lose.
Leo Clark
How desperate are they?
Jordan Green
The biggest thing people say in defense internally is that we have a strong demographic firewall, and through that a state firewall in places like NM, VA, NV, FL.
But honestly - even if that's true, it's concerning to others. Are we going to stand under confetti and say "WOO, WE WON ON OUR STRONG DEMOGRAPHICS" instead of winning on a message?
An uninspiring victory based solely on a demographic firewall (and cheering that as equivalent to a message-based victory) puts us in danger in 2018 and 2020 cycles, imo.
Asher Jenkins
I wouldn't say anyone on either side, from my conversations, is in desperation mode. Both sides have their cheerleaders, and both are starting to grow vocal internal skeptics.
There are skeptics within DNC now that I honestly did not expect to open their mouths, the kind of people who have been there a while and know how to go along and get along. That's weird.
Oliver Cooper
your demographics are seriously underinformed voters, im talking crackhead level voters who barely recognize clintons name and whos districts didnt even have republican voting stations for the noms. t.lives in shitty town
why does the campaign seem off balance it seems like you guys have failed to recognize what might sway people outside of the liberal base and use it proactively instead of getting baited by trump
Camden Rodriguez
That's one I can't answer - you'd have to find an HFA Cred Forums bro for that one. HFA is pretty tightly held even in relations with the DNC.
Angel Davis
I get the feeling Hillary is trapped in her own campaign 'bubble'
I doubt she'll realize she's lost until the results come in
it's already clear the American people, especially the working class, are in massive support for Trump.
thoughts?
Asher Hill
I know you guys in politics live in a bubble but from the viewpoint of an avg American I don't plan on acknowledging her as president and will vote for anyone that will undermine her constantly. I really want it made impossible for her to govern.
James Bennett
>DNC Technology Committee
Was there any signs of electronic vote rigging on the part of the DNC?
Liam Jones
She's definitely in a bubble. It's a tough balance. You let DNC and the states get too involved in your campaign and you end up getting Too Many Cooks in the kitchen - Kerry 04, McCain 2000 primary, etc.
But you can end up in an echo chamber otherwise.
That said DNC isn't ignorant of the working class unrest. It's probably Topic 1 on policy/messaging calls.
Landon Price
how much do you discuss Hillarys health?
Levi Myers
Victims of impersonation That's fucking gold.
Robert Johnson
Not that I saw. Honestly most of the DNC Techies are livid about the hacks, as we've been pushing for centralized, outside system security for a long time.
It's the old fucks from the 80s and 90s who refuse to understand that their old playbook makes us look out of touch, and their ways of responding to tech issues make us look fucking stupid.
I'm trying to find the memo someone distributed just roasting the fuck out of the tech illiterates internally.
Anthony Moore
Would you consider a monthly fee of $5000 in exchange for information? This would be long-term.
If you're interested, let me know how to get in touch.
Leo Sanchez
But isn't that just how it works when you just pander to demographics? It seems this is the obvious result of the democratic party strategy of targeting certain demographics? Maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying, but hasn't that been the plan all along?
Samuel Sullivan
Before the fall on 9/11? Only as jokes about Trump and the wingnut web talking about seizure pens, Alzheimers, etc.
After the fall? Most saw it right after on TV. And since then people have genuinely been talking about whether it was a mistake (politically, thinking of cable news) to ignore health questions in August.
Now I hear a lot of jokes about having her inauguration at the cemetery. Which is kek.
John Rogers
>bribing campaign staffers You're going to get him arrested, kek.
Joshua James
trump is a socialist libtard who shills for niggerbama claiming that he was born in the usa. fuck him and his betrayal, courting niggers and spics like a goddamn faggot. sick of this shit.
Angel Long
Nah, I'm open if people talk to me, but I wouldn't compromise actual proprietary documents about DNC strategy/tactics or VAN utilization.
The stuff I'm sharing is internal but not especially sensitive to the operations of the campaign or party.
Luke Reed
We are open to increase the compensation substantially. But would like to discuss this privately.
Benjamin Morgan
>Engaging in the degeneracy of sharing sensitive information about your operations with randos
Who do you think I am, Hill?
Adam Gomez
are there any opinions you can share regarding how foreign policy could be affected by a clinton win
Chase Butler
Not really my area - we have other Committees for that. But the dominant feeling within DNC that I've received is that this election will be largely decided on some domestic lines:
- Jobs reports/media coverage of economy
- Obama approval rating carryover
- Efforts to narrow split-ticket voting in places where voters may vote Trump for POTUS and a Dem for Senate
- Debate performances (which have some internally frustrated that so much is being put on an unpredictable scenario)
- Minority registration and turnout
Carson Edwards
Record corrected
Brody Gray
this is great thanks
Dylan Morales
What proofs can you provide? And the juicest information you have?
Colton Wright
What proof would you like? Not sure what I can share in addition, but I'm open to it.
Juiciest thing (for me) was the silver lining out of a DNC hack that made everyone miserable. A decent group of DNC members were going to move to remove Debbie Wasserman-Schultz at convention, and were moving to go forward when we all found out about the hack.
Some Russki did the job for us and got DWS the fuck away from the party. She was a nightmare and a dreadful person.
Cameron Powell
can you comment on the rumors that you are both fake and gay?
thanks in advance
Adrian Turner
What's your favorite anime? Addendum: Who is you're waifu?
Justin Brooks
this
the whole "I work for Hillary and she's just tantruming all the time, sleeps all the time, and we're all quitting our jobs" is a nice bedtime story, but the truth has a longer-lasting flavor.
How is Hillary doing now? Does she ever talk to "the little people" and is she personable if she does? Does she seem stable/confident about the debates or is it all going to be about damage control? Does she show frustration with her campaign or is there more frustration FROM the campaign to their lady?
Joshua Mitchell
Proofs like a picture of a dnc pin, or maybe paperwork. Not asking to incriminate yourself though.
Camden Wright
>some russki did the job for us lol
Joshua Collins
>implying Seth Rich is a Russki
Thomas Carter
I've only seen Clinton 3-4 times total during the campaign, when she's in the DC area for fundraising events. The weirdest thing is, when the camera's not on, she is really relaxed and makes jokes to relax people, since she is aware how she's viewed as a celebrity by staff.
I don't think the worry is that Clinton will do poorly. One of her more senior people said it best four or five days ago: Because she's such an overwhelming favorite to win (people know she does huge debate prep, issue prep), if she doesn't perform her A game, it'll look bad.
The concern is Trump, billed as an idiot, may actually go out and impress the media, which would be a huge problem.
Have never heard any stories of her or senior HFA people being divided or having frustrations. That's mostly the job of people on the exterior of the HFA orbit - DNC, state parties (who don't get much money from her joint events, and it takes months to get it), etc.
Connor Nguyen
First of a few.
Juan Myers
>She was a nightmare and a dreadful person in other words, a typical democrat
Jayden Moore
It's a trap OP don't do it.
Jaxson Long
Do you have any idea how much I want you to kill yourself?
Camden Wood
some guy named ceты яич
Nicholas Sanchez
Give us a number to call and troll?
Cameron Gutierrez
Give me your full name and your bosses name and contact information and I'll call them to verify you work there. Then I'll give you some great advice. I may even be able to offer you an insane deal on a timeshare I just heard about.
Cameron Barnes
I'd do it for some Trump Steak.
Levi Gray
Is that email real?
Colton Wilson
Cool and thanks.
Hope she gets fucking wrecked at the debates.
Camden Williams
For a split second I thought it would be kek to put the former White House CTO's line, since he's in the office today.
But then I realized you cucks would get me fired to praise kek.
Colton Walker
Speaking personally I'm not so worried about her doing poorly as I am Trump coming out and doing well, and his whole "no prep, no mock debates" thing just being a media fake-out.
Nicholas Turner
Just post it. They won't really put the dots together.
Joseph Allen
Fake online support, stealing from small donors, low energy, most corrupt in history , comparably pathetic rally turnout. How do they think she's an overwhelming favorite?
Leo Richardson
If not then it should be. People being careless with technology they don't understand is part of what allows this shit to happen in the first place.
Ryan Torres
If Hillary wins, you're going to see an even bigger swing to the right in the House and Senate than you saw in '94 with her philandering shit of a husband. If she comes after guns, you niggers had better prepare your collective anus. Also, if she's elected she'll be a 4 year president. Whites are still the majority in this country, and if you give us a wildly unpopular president and another 4 years to sway people via memetics, you lot are FUCKED, demographics or no. Likely voters, breh, likely voters.
Either way, the future's so bright I gotta wear shades.
Also, fuck your candidate right in the poop chute. She'll be the most corrupt government official since Albert Fall.
Levi Ortiz
I can't tell if this is serious or not.
Colton Bennett
Answer my question faggot, who is you're waifu!?
Justin Walker
Honestly I think you're right re: 2018. If Clinton's victory isn't a blowout - and by that DNC is working from the definition we can get to 50 Senate seats this cycle, and win maybe 18-20 in the House - then we're in trouble.
A close Clinton victory in 16 will definitely embolden RSCC and others to go crazy fundraising for 18 cycle.
Nicholas Rogers
I don't engage in anime or visit any anime related boards. But my politicalfu is Kristi Noem, so I'm going across the aisle to bang a desperate housewife.
Lucas Nguyen
they wont seriously go after guns aslong as they can spook people into raising smith and wesson stocks
Nolan Martinez
Every board is an anime board.
John Adams
>There are skeptics within DNC now that I honestly did not expect to open their mouths, the kind of people who have been there a while and know how to go along and get along. That's weird.
>People are trying to get in their last "I told you so"s so when the ship goes down they get a life jacket
Nicholas Hughes
Anything else you can leave with?
Benjamin Sullivan
She's cold, impersonable and unlikeable. Even her biggest fans (the msm) admit this. She also doesn't seem to have the stamina for a long debate.
Connor Brooks
>Calls us cucks >Works for Hillary
Why do you want Hillary to be president over Trump?
Julian Jones
Shit, Barry O. made his attempt. Hillary will make hers. The first mass shooting of her presidency will see her croon and cry alligator tears about "how we need to ban these dangerous weapons of war."
Mark my words.
Jace Taylor
I'm sure I have my talking points here somewhere.
Camden Torres
So you don't want Hillary to be president?
Jack Taylor
>compromise actual proprietary documents about DNC strategy/tactics
Nothing to compromise, we're already aware of the tactics.
Step 1. Promise things to minorities. Step 2. Blame all of the minorities' problems on white people, men in particular. Step 2a. If there's not enough buzz, legitimize a new fringe minority group to give something for people to bandwagon on. Step 3. Encourage white people to vote dem out of guilt for the above. ... Step 72. Sob loudly as there are no white people left to blame and now the minorities are revolting.
Camden Turner
How is this an "ego boost," flat-dick? No one cares about you.
Libshits are so weird.
Brayden White
>"WOO, WE WON ON OUR STRONG DEMOGRAPHICS" instead of winning on a message?
That's the future of your party, and a natural result of the belief that demographics are destiny.
Dominic Butler
Please just fucking die.
Christian Thomas
Shame. I loved DWS. She made you guys look like buffoons.
Isaiah Campbell
>That said DNC isn't ignorant of the working class unrest. It's probably Topic 1 on policy/messaging calls.
What does the DNC think is going to happen when a $15 min wage hits and mass automation becomes instantly affordable?
Are they just going to get blindsided or do they just ignore it to keep the common people from knowing?
Asher Barnes
Jesus Christ dude do you have a death wish?
Robert Parker
True believer or pragmatic political professional going where the money is?
Logan Taylor
Oh, I surely do hope so.
Die Op die.
Kevin King
wow rude :(
Ethan Sanders
Bit of column A, bit of column B. I've been in the DC area for nine years and never strayed far from politics/consulting.
Nolan Hall
OP is literally a faggot. Dems sell this country out so they can win elections
Asher Bell
Well ... i-it's just a great honor to have you here, sir. A real self-esteem builder and an ego-boost. We are eternally grateful, faggot.
William Williams
Why Hillary over Trump you faggot, answer me
Bentley Martinez
You haven't won an election on "message" in fucking decades, you dumb libcuck.
Your entire party is based on buying votes through welfare and importing votes through mass immigration.
Fuck you.
Juan Murphy
He's got real important DNC stuff to do. You wouldn't understand.
You know ... ? He's doing you a real fucken favor here. A favor!
Ian Diaz
>I was involved in the convention So was it you who beat Bernie with the phone book, or did you hold his kids hostage? >still a democrat Why haven't you killed yourself?
Logan Taylor
I share the concerns of most people not supporting Trump. Also Obama years were good to me.
Anthony Thomas
>kek Do you colleagues know you use racist nazi frog words?
Hunter Wood
Hey OP, can you say anything about the whole Pepe incident? any talk about the chans or Cred Forums around the office?
Thanks, I love these insider threads.
Gavin Phillips
>I've served for several years with a state Democratic Party and on the DNC Technology Committee. I was also involved with the Temporary Rules Committee for the 2012 and 2016 Democratic Conventions.
So you are loosely responsible for fucking bernouts out of their vote and all the DNC leaks? How does that feel? Or do you claim no responsibility at all?
Grayson Mitchell
Most of the younger people with DNC Digital and on the data side either spent time on Cred Forums before or still actively browse.
Beyond that, one of my colleagues had to give an actual sit down presentation to DNC leadership after he was asked to explain what Cred Forums was.
Most people outside of digital would have no idea. I have no explanation for the pepe thing except meme magic.
Josiah Perry
Yeah you've lived large on the donors dime. You're a leech and a faggot.
Nathaniel Lewis
I thought Bernie was a charming nut. If people actually were involved in doing that, which I'd believe given how DWS was running things, I never heard about it.
Oliver Morgan
>Beyond that, one of my colleagues had to give an actual sit down presentation to DNC leadership after he was asked to explain what Cred Forums was. This is what dreams are made of. I'd give anything to see that presentation and the reaction of the normies. Thanks, user, You were not a faggot today.
Caleb Martin
It's a smart move. It simultaneously showed that Trump won't deny reality at the same time showed that Clinton lied about spreading birther rumors.
Cameron Clark
It's almost 6:30 on a Friday. My giving-a-shit hours are over. Going to go home and possibly rejoin you fine folks later.
Enjoy your pepes.
Isaac Cox
Ha, this is exactly what I pictured. I can totally see oldfags having emergency meetings about what Those Darn Kids Are Doing With That Frog and engaging 'experts' for research at 2k/day + expenses, lulz.
Eli Brown
This is not good, you are giving him the initiative
Alexander Collins
>I share the concerns of most people not supporting Trump.
That he's going to shake things up and cause much heartache for those invested in the current course? IE: The globalists.
