I like to imagine that somewhere out there, there's an individual who browsed Cred Forums in 2008. He had been on the site for a few years, but he was really starting to get fed up with it. The site was going down the shitter and he was starting to feel that he had grown out of it. Everywhere he went, that damnable frog was being used as an excuse to create the most inane threads imaginable.

Disgusted to see such an unimaginative forced meme taking root in the site he had once loved for its bountiful OC, he took it upon himself to leave Cred Forums, and the internet, vowing to never return. Forsaking "lulz", the individual found moderate success in being a normie. Over the next eight years, the individual did his best to write his time on Cred Forums, which he considered a dumb phase during his teenage years, out of his memory.

Then, one day, one morning in his apartment as he was getting ready for work, he heard something. Something from the television that he had been paying no attention to up until that point. Turned to a major news network, the television carried the name from across the country and uttered it into the individual's ear.
