It really depends where you go in FL. I live in the city of Jupiter, Palm Beach County and I can tell you that you can travel in any direction and the people and class changes dramatically. Head west, and it turns redneck fast. Head south, and you get to low class ghettos, spics, etc. Much of central and northern Florida is very much like the southern states. The political landscape of Florida has changed so much due to people from the NE coming here to live. The retirees are not so bad, other then they are just old and slow.
