Berlin election prediction thread

I hope the CDU gets its ass kicked by AfD and finishes at least 5% behind its rival.

I also can't wait to see what the Berlin Anti-Fa have up their sleeve...

>muh postal ballots

German elections have become a weekend sports event for Burgers. Thanks AfD!

AfD will likely either come within 1 percentage point of the CDU or tie them.
Either way, it's a great result in the socialist people's republic of berlinistan.

No defeatism in this thread, user. Get with the program or get out.

I would like to hear the opinion of some German Cred Forumsacks on this, they're bound to know more accurately the state of their own politics.

Braveheart is retarded.
Last reliable polls show CDU at 19% and AfD at 15%.

Anything could happen, really. It's very possible the AfD beats Merkel. I just think the favorite as of right now is coming just short.

>Germans are bound to know more...

Unless they are mostly brainwashed. East Europeans have a good idea what's going. Germans, less so.

Maybe could make threads like these more frequently up until the actual election so better info passes around.

...

>Last reliable polls show CDU at 19% and AfD at 15%.

That's what they said about Brexit. The silent vote (people who lie) is worth 5 points at least.

"I am not Braveheart. But he is my friend."

Brexit polls had remain and leave neck and neck pretty much the entire time and whatever advantage was projected was well within the margin of error.

These projections are accurate. Berlin is traditionally left-wing, so SPD, the GrĂ¼ne and the Linke tend to score a lot of the votes. But AfD is big with the protest voters right now, so who knows.

The projections putting CDU ahead are accounting for that with a hefty drop. Realistically CDU would need to drop like 10% and most of those would need to go AfD in order to switch positions.

Most people who are not German will have a more objective worldview than a German, that's just a fact

So, what kind of private campaigning is permitted on Sunday? Can you convince someone to chage his or her vote?

Oh yeah, I'm not seeing the AfD overtaking CDU at all, definitely not in Berlin. But I wa thinking they might do better than people expect. That's happened with smaller parties like that before.

More objective doesn't necessarily mean more accurate.

I'm totally objective regaring the political climate in Sri Lanka, but the people actually living there could probably give you a more accurate picture of it than I could.

How about the Federal Election in a year? Will the AfD make significant gains? How does german society feel about Merkel and her 11 year reign?

A year is a long time. AfD will most likely get some seats but if they fuck up in the state parliaments they might lose the protest vote.

WITNESS MY REPEATING DIGITS AND WITNESS THE AFDs DECISIVE VICTORY

At least the results will likely be truthfully reported. Unless postal ballots mysteriously appear as they did in Vienna.

Meme magic never works for me

Don't think so far ahead user. If you I've in Berlin, change someone's vote today.

I think the AfD fucking blows, so I'm not gonna do that. But I'm not telling people what to vote/not to vote, anyway. In general, people are permitted to campaign until the polls close, as long as they don't do it near the polling stations.

It's anybody's guess. A lot can happen until then. The AfD is a smaller party with a turbulent history, they might become irrelevant, or they might gain popularity. Merkel's approval ratings have gone down for sure, but it all depends on how people like the alternatives.

That is because you are leaf. Let me show you how it is done.

Who would you vote for if not AfD?

I think it sometimes works with 4-digit dates. 1492 was a good year for Cred Forums for example.

I vote for anarchic/parody parties because the political establishment tends to let me down but I'm not right-wing.

>But I'm not telling people what to vote/not to vote, anyway.

Well, then you need to change your strategy. Just convince your friends to not vote for the CDU. Convince them to vote for any other party but NOT the CDU.

Maybe that's enough.

Oh, no worries.
No-one I know votes CDU.

Does this mean you live in Berlin?

>Literally throwing your right to vote away
I can't understand why people do this. Everyone before you has worked so hard to ensure that you have the right to vote and you just throw it away like that? I'm not here to tell you which political party to support but wasting it on PARTEI is just pants on head retarded.

Really says a lot about the country when you have people like you voting like autistic manchildren. At least spend your vote on an actual party, otherwise you're just spitting in the face of democracy.

Why do you think the AfD blows? Are you a refugees welcome multiculturalist?

I agree with this. If you're throwing away your vote, then you've disqualified yourself from ever being a foot soldier.

The army needs anons willing to lie to change the votes of 3 people.

All the brainwashing must've given them all autism he said he's voting PARTEI.

Well I certainly can't condone political dishonesty. I'd rather have someone honestly vote liberal than be lied into voting conservative any day.

>Why do you think the AfD blows? Are you a refugees welcome multiculturalist?

It almost appears that way. Most Germans are conflicted, which is reasonable enough. That's how it starts.

See He's just a retard. :v

>Well I certainly can't condone political dishonesty

I'm really talking about AfD supporters who must say one thing publicly but are free to vote for the AfD in the privacy of the polling booth.

Can someone tell me if Berlin has its own set of rules for counting postal ballots?

At this point, I would welcome an AfD virtual tie with the CDU. It would bring back fond memories of the Austrian elections.

>Be Australian

>Fellow Australians remark that at last Germany is doing something sensible

>Berlin's Mayor: omg stahp stahp, they will think we are nazis!

You fucking subhuman cuck, we think you're mentally ill suicidal faggots right now. Some form of spine is WELCOMED.

I wish there were a live feed outside a polling station in East Berlin (mayber Kreuzberg) I could watch. I wonder what voting day in Berlin looks like...
