Well, lets just say to become Jewish you have to either be born into the faith (like me) or study a lot and do some stupid shit to eventually become Jewish. It's a challenge for others to enter into the faith and that's what I assume makes Jews very hard to "get rid of" because the faith is hard to get into (sort of like a exclusive club)

So, one possible way would be to gradually loosen these restrictions over time and eventually mold them into other faiths.

I like the Reform's approach, taking the Talmud/Mishnah off it's pedestal, and going back to the Torah. The reform also seem to have more/greater kavanah, especially in worship.

I think the real watershed difference is that the Reform don't view the Torah/Talmud as being dictated by G-d, but written by humans (albeit divinely inspired humans), who were writing for a specific context, and that we need to constantly reinterpret the Torah to keep it relevant.

Who's to say that you can't come to a new understanding? I grew up Evangelical, but have since come to appreciate the Reform's approach, and some of the criticisms of Christianity. We're all on a journey, user.

Take your time, and you may be different, but I found that I went through an atheist phase, and am now moving more towards hopeful agnosticism. There's some questions in my life that required a religious answer, just not the answer I was raised with.
