This, some of the most revolting gay men have been ones who hid for ages and it manifests itself into extremely ugly perversions there are exceptions to the rule but a lot of it comes from that. The ones who grew up with early acceptance run the risk of being obnoxious flamers and that's about it; go to a pride parade the guys walking naked in gimp masks in public are 99% over 40. At this point getting rid of LGBT culture in the west is probably the best course of actions forward since it serves as nothing more than a political wing and a way to enforce ideological belief on a part of the population based on their identity especially a group that needs a more conservative and restrained approach to sexuality.
