Immigrant houses probably, not very expensive. Maybe 200-250k $

Around where I live it's townhouses. Pic related.

Closer to the city though those would be expensive and it would be condos for the middle class (or subdivided townhouses are common too).

Further out in the country, though, middle class housing is more like a 1 story house (usually with a basement) on 1 acre of land or less. America is big so the further away from a city you are willing to live, the more land and house you can get for cheap.
