They will instead be "forums" or whatever word they want to call it where they're asked pre-written questions back and forth with no interaction. Trump just needs to mention this at the beginning of each debate and any time Trump fucks up he can point to the setup of the debate afterward. Same as with Judge Curiel. It'll lessen the impact of a bad performance and heighten the impact of a good performance.
