Businesses hiring illegals under the table pay them shit wages, and so anyone they hire legally is going to have to outperform the illegals to justify the extra cost. With the illegals out, businesses have to measure employees performances against eachother on a 1-1 scale, which ups the odds that you'll eventually apply for a position somewhere where you're the best applicant. Further upping your odds is the fact that there are fewer workers per business owner. Whens the last time an illegal became an entreprenuer?
