The issue here is the continuity from last season. They set up Garrison as a Trump stand in but they didn't set up a Hillary stand in, because at the time nobody was nominated and Trump was saying ridiculous shit, a goldmine for the show.

Now the focus is obviously going to be on Garrison independent of whether they are "picking a side" in the election. Garrison is a longstanding and funny character on the show. Hillary is not.

I suppose they could have set this season up by creating a Hilary stand in. But they didnt.
