Western civilisation has been in decline since 1789.
First it was primarily a spiritual decline but that was compensated by the incredible vigor set free by the industrial revolution.
After two devastating wars the erosion of the spiritual foundation of the West started to become more and more apparent.
Now we are in an age where nihilism, liberalism and relativism reign supreme.
The only hope is a total collapse of post-modern society before its to late.
Without it our culture will be gradually swallowed up by more assertive and confident ones.

As the wealthiest nations in the West are on the precipice of an automation revolution, it doesn't matter that the developing world's population is ballooning.

Manpower is no longer determined by populations size or massive pools of unskilled works. Every is already finding out a single skilled technician maintaining manufacturing machines/robots can out compete thousands of human workers in everything except start-up costs.

The rise of these developing populations will be one of modernization, but not of relative to the West. They simple don't have the infrastructure to or education base to compete in the new world of automation.

This is why it's so important to set the tone of the "economic refugee" issue facing the West now before the rest of the world realizes what automation will mean for the global economy. There's going to be a real economic crunch everywhere, but only the west will be able to shield their citizens from the worst of it and transition peacefully.

Western borders must be closed now and a clear line drawn between Western citizen and everyone else. A mentality of protectionism and nationalism is key to the West's survival and continued dominance.

Pretty much this the west is headed for a dystopian future not unlike most scifi movies.
