Rebels said that the Northern Hama offensive was merely to ease off the pressure from Aleppo since there's no strategical importance to it but the Aleppo offensive failed and they're moving a bit too close to Alawite heartland and I doubt they will commit to this offensive and go to Hama city which the government will defend as if it were Damascus.
Daniel Butler
Have some prediction.
>phases
James Ortiz
>read months >post after one month >cry damage control >le Sahaf meme
Again, I chose my words deliberately because anything can happen in one month. The long term trends are still in the rebels' favour.
It has every strategic importance - if the city falls, Aleppo is effectively surrounded and the manpower from Rastan will join the rebel cause. If it doesn't fall, the supply line to Aleppo will be threatened anyways if they capture al Hamra and the villages to the east. They'd be position to launch an offensive on the highway along the entire stretch of road.
Carter Brown
I don't want to seem like that conspiracy theorist or anything and it's not like I don't trust many credible sources, but hell I feel like many of the alleged Syrian/Russian attacks on civilian targets and aid convoys may be false flags.
They hold little strategical value aside from turn people against you. Fuck, it's a civil war, no one somewhat smart would kill your own civilians, your potential supporters and taxpayers. Especially these days when the world is so connected, so internationalist, shit like that hurts you more than it helps, and it's not even like WW2 when the civilians lived near major factories and worked there and shit.
Like fuck, this is probably the reason why they aren't winning massively.

Joseph Peterson
Ramouseh is pointless unless they take the hills to its south, and that will take many months. They have to clear Wadihi, Huweyz, Sabiqiya, preferably Jabal Azzan and al Hader too.
If they're looking for a quick victory, Hamdaniya is the key. Urban warfare means close air support is useless. Keep up the ad hominems bud, if you were so secure about your claims you would not need them.
Charles Foster
Dude, no offense, but it is literally the same but in the opposite direction with you.

The oly thing that urban warfare means is that the defender has a big advantage. The attacker must bring way more troops to the battle and expect way more looses.

Yes. Remember JFS are on the offensive unlike the SAA. JFS proved it can topple the regime with that offensive. They took that area in just one week with minimal losses (say what you want about 2K, they couldn't have lost more than 500).
Yeah Qusayr, al Hader, Palmyra, all 100% native Syrian victories.
The foreign groups aiding the rebels are well known; TIP, JAA, HSI, etc. JFS, HASI, FaS, none of these qualify as foreign. And judging from the fact that the SAA had to call in Hezbollah and the Iraqis on Homs and Damascus, and even Daraa, the fronts with the least foreign element in the opposition, I do not understand the purpose of your red herring.
We're talking about the chances of success the rebels have in an urban setting, not who is more Syrian than others. That is an argument I can easily wage, I just don't appreciate moving the goal posts.
Oliver Hall

So you're quoting the SOHR against me without even reading it. Nice.
It's quite simple, the rebels launched a human wave attack to capture the area for one week. The SAA launched a human wave attack to recapture the area for one month. They lost more than the SAA during the first offensive, but not during the overall battle.
Maybe the death toll counts the air strikes not related to the front line. Those would happen anyways regardless of whether or not there was gonna be a battle to break the siege.

I miss those goofy times. youtube.com/watch?v=RGA4PilHdr0 I meant that the watermelun video is a parody to the Miracle guys. Alright analysis time again. Sadly my PC is busted so no image of sweet sandy beach this time around to preface it.
So we all heard about the UN aid convoy that got """bombed""". The US is working really hard to say it was Russia. Which many of here doubt. The fact the US which has radar coverage over Syria through it's own aircraft operating around the nation or NATO allies, not to mention it's own flights in Syria, would be easily able to provide some form of hard evidence. Yet they have not. Much like with the MH17 disaster in Ukraine.
Anyway lets assume the US isn't sharing info because of "muh top secret" or some shit. What does Russia actually stand to gain from bombing a known UN aid convoy?
Nothing of course. It means no food for rebels for a little bit. It also means no food aid for government held areas. It means committing a warcrime and suffering severe punishments for it. The cost very much outweighs the minuscule benefits such a bombing would cause.
Now what does the US stand to gain for accusing Russia of bombing a UN aid convoy? Russia's position on the negotiating table is weakened. Russia's international standing is weakened. New economic sanctions against Russia can more easily be imposed while current ones can be kept in place. Russia's position within the UN can be cast in to doubt. And what is the risk for lying? A simple message of "Oops our bad. We had bad intel."
However the US is not so stupid to actually bomb the convoy themselves. And Russia would never allow the Syrians to bomb anything close to an aid station or convoy. So whom could have done it? Why our good friends the """rebels""" of course. But Curacao, they lack planes. How could they bomb it then? Simple. You do not need to actually drop the bombs from a plane to make it look like a bombing. You just drop artillery or mortars in the area. An area you know that is going to be monitored and watched by enemy aircraft in the air, making it much more believable that they did it.
Isaiah Brown
>YGP>HAMAS
Landon Jackson
And that is exactly what we are seeing now. The first people to even mention that an aid convoy was bombed were the White Helmets. And as we are well aware on this board, they are the US disinfo group in Syria. Any "tragedy" they are involved in has time and again been shown to be caused by they themselves. That is why they are always so quick to respond despite so few of them being present in all of Syria.
Now let us move on to the timing of this.
This happened shortly after the US """"accidentally""""" bombed the SAA rather than ISIS... twice.... then came back a third time to kill the aid workers. Despite being well informed at that time that they bombed the SAA and not ISIS. The US also did not return to bomb ISIS to prevent them from capitalizing upon the damage they inflicted on the SAA at that time. Again proof that they conducted said bombing deliberately.
Problem was, people weren't believing their spin. So the US very desperately needed a new news story to come out of Syria. One in which Russia did something horrible so that all attention would be removed from them. So a quick little call to the White Helmets got made. A plan was hatched and executed. The press was quickly informed that Russia did this.
And lo and behold nobody is talking about how the US aided ISIS. And bonus points, it's right before Obama is to hold a speech at the UN General Assembly. The timing could not have been any more perfect.
Remember. Do not trust the lies of Washington or it's agents.
Why is the sound on twitter vids so garbage. I wish there was a better place for them to upload them without them getting taken down.

Holes are irregular shapes. Ergo they are likely caused by shrapnel of an explosive. Skin seems to be pushed outward, which means that the shrapnel came from the inside or at least travelled through the vehicle. Hence why this vehicle is in a decent enough shape. It didn't get hit directly.

If there were some honest intellectuals it won't be that hard, hell even an /sg/ joint effort could pull something off. I think people as rigorous as Chomsky don't exist anymore
Michael Cruz
yeah join the saa and fight for a country that doesn't allow non-muslims to be head of state.
saa is the best faction fighting in arab syria, but that's like being the prettiest denny's waitress, to stael a doug stanhope line. the fucking kurds would at least actually agree you deserve full rights as an atheist or a christian.
Ian Baker
Wasn't there a huge controversy in the 70s because in the syrian constitution it never said you had to be muslim to bw President?
Nolan Cook
>comical countryside Poor guy JUST can't avoid getting himself meme'd on to save his life.

You got a hear of a brave man bro. I feel the same.

idk anythign specific about that, i just know the assad family was basically the faction of the baathists who were opposed to merging with egypt for a UAR (united arab republic).
Leo Miller
>Problem was, people weren't believing their spin. So the US very desperately needed a new news story to come out of Syria. One in which Russia did something horrible so that all attention would be removed from them. Pretty much and the Russian cucks instead of putting the story of the bombing are playing along with the americunts
Nolan Wilson
Not at all. Russia has been countering it pretty damn hard. Showing video footage of a rebels using the aid convoy as cover. Calling the US liars etc.
Colton Cooper
Reminder to update the next thread:

Well it takes time to get the clearances for videos of a military nature to be released. The fact it all happened within 24 hours highlights that it wasn't faked shit. And that is being taken seriously.
Ryder Jones
but kikeistan with nukes is tottally ok right? Khamenai said nukes not weapons of war as your media said. Pic related its the terrorists collin powel saying about nuking Iran.
Isaac Thompson
still any gains on hoholmaps
Jose Anderson
what do you mean? its military parade in bandar abbas
nope proxyfag. I thank romanians for their good vpn services.
they could have come with an statement that we are looking into this or something at early hours. "journos" were tweeting screencaps of RT and tass and saying: look there is nothing here, no mention of incident lel russians are fucked"
Asher Perez
I was just memeing. Actually I love how they casually parade these babies in the streets, libcucks here would have a heart attack if we did the same. And Powell is right, even if Iran got nukes they wouldn't ever be able to use them, though Iran having nukes might prevent things like Israel/Saudi Arabia from tacnuking Yemen and Lebanon, but I doubt it.
Levi Bell
>. I thank romanians for their good vpn services which one do you use? i have one and all ips are banned.

Remember the US media is an extension of the State Department these days.
Used to be that they were separate. But today they are firmly in bed with one another.

I buy the service in Iran and pay for it in our currency. there are handful of servers around the world that I can choose from but only romanian ones work! the servers must be in your country so I don't know which one .
I know they even changed the laws against using propaganda on their own citizens. so its all legal too. this is cold war propaganda all over again. add to this the reaction of UN. I almost feel sorry for them. poor guys has no power and now they are using them as assets for their games. it did not suppose to be like this. I always enjoy your analysis.
>another system revealed today couldn't find good info about it yet
