im looking for a 22 revolver thats light to take on hikes and camping/outdoor excursions where i can plink when the opportunity arises. im not new to firearms i have a small collection myself, but no 22 handgun currently. had a ruger mkii for a while, and it was a really nice target/range gun but for what i want a 22 for, it was just too big and heavy. have looked at the ruger sp101 22lr, the ruger single 6, the s&w 317, ruger sr22, walther p22. i really am leaning towards the s&w 317 but havent held one or shot one so not sure how good they are. id also like to pick up a 642 for conceal carry on days i dont want to lug around the glock 19
