Teachers should not voice overtly political opinions in class. Especially none that are meant to be blanket offensive toward millions of people.
I have no respect for a teacher that doesn't speak in terms of facts, figures, and proven arguments.
The teacher should be re-evaluated on their competency level to teach and reprimanded for their poor classroom behavior, which to any rational person would be seen as a slap in the face toward your students (or at least the one in the MAGA sweater). And that is never acceptable behavior for a public school teacher.
