I imagine even my beliefs are probably more about some repressed psychological tension than anything approaching a genuine desire to understand reality

It has hindered my ability to interact with normal people. I was on a second date and she and I were telling offensive jokes. Basically she gave me this horrified look and asked if I was racist. I said yes(she was going to find out eventually). Needless to say the date ended shortly afterward and I haven't heard from her since. Fuck you Cred Forums.

I used to be pro-surveillance, now I'm against Surveillance, Internet Censorship, and The No Fly List. I used to be very Liberal. The first to be offended at racist jokes. Now I'm the one making racist jokes and laugh at the thought of a Liberal Article written by a Jew. I used to think we need to stay in the middle east to support the people over there, now I Desperately want us out of there. I'm a definite advocate for Economic Nationalism now, I used to think Free Trade was absolutely horrible to 3rd world countries but I now see it as the best option for them, but not for us. I do believe in a Freer Market and More Worker's rights at home however.
Not too big of a difference, but I now believe we should take the government out of Marriage instead of legalizing it all over the country. As Well as heavily distrusting the media instead of not caring. I'm strangely, a much bigger fan of Syndicalism and Direct Democracy than I was before, believing The Government and Representatives were Better. As Well as a higher Appreciation for State's rights and the Constitution.
I'm still Left-Leaning, Very Patriotic, Pro-gun, Pro-choice, Against Affirmative Action, and Against Granting Citizenship to Illegals, though.
