The NS government did benefit from some infrastructure spending, like the motorways they built, but most of that was planned and identified economic agenda going all the way back to the Imperial government, they weren't doing anything particularly revolutionary. That and they pissed off most of Germany's labour force, banning trade unions, etc the like. Germany was neither stable, nor really richer thanks to the NS government.
And of course, the NS government lost the one thing they wanted; a big war. So.

I wonder how their system would have evolved over time. I think it's common for a single leader situation to deteriorate when a beloved leader dies. In that case there could be several parties vying for power with one coming out on top, or there's some form of cooperation which becomes a democracy of sorts. The other scenario would be a bunch of warring factions that would keep to themselves for the most part.
Having a nation under a single unquestionable leader each generation doesn't seem all that practical. Eventually one of them is going to be a colossal fuckup and the system deteriorates as mentioned above.
Parliament has played a significant part in our history since 1215, so we're probably not a great example. I think rapid development could be a factor here as well. Wide distribution and availability of media, etc.

I have read his work and his argument is unironically "The German economy was so good it had to fail eventually", I'm not making that up, he genuinly believed that the boom and bust cycle, which only effects Keynesian economies, not State run autarkic ones, meant that Germany would inevitably fall.
