So what I think happened is this. Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight are not on good terms. Voight is a very vocal Trump supporter. Maybe Brad let slip he liked Trump too. Angelina and her sons chimped out. Brad tried to appease 2 to 3 weeks ago by making some disparaging remarks about Trump in an interview. This was a last ditch attempt to salvage their relationship.
