The paintings in the pic were created in Roman Egypt for people who could afford a portrait to be the 'face' of their mummy sarcophagus, so they would probably have been racially mixed, it being Egypt. The round plate looks like it was made in the 1970s. There were black people in the Roman Empire, but most people were white, not sure how to explain the obvious.
