Banking is similar to online piracy. In the same way it only takes one person to upload a DVD to the internet for hundreds to download, banks only need a small amount of capital to give out 20x its value in loans. They are effectively loaning the same money 20 times and collecting interest from each loan. The money for 19 of those individuals was completely made up and is backed by nothing. Online pirates get no financial benefit from pirating, and are demonized and are charged with theft. Bankers get rewarded for their behavior. They have the monopoly on money creation for almost every country, and thereby control their economy.
