One of the fascist HQs in Italy. The Italo-Fascists (unlike the National Socialists) were very much into modern art, and used it in all their designs.
The sculpture is Mussolini's head with "YES YES YES YES" in the background. The Italo-Fascists didn't hold elections, but they did regularly poll the population with lists of party leaders and other bureaucrats, and the people would tick off either "Yes" or "No" next to them, to indicate, respectively, whether they wanted them to stay in their position or be replaced by someone else. This headquarters got very positive results on its poll, "Yes" across the board, and the decoration was made to reflect that.

Mussolini was a total moron who wanted to annex Yugoslavia and Greece and all of Africa and the Middle East because "Muh Roman Empire" and opened up so many new theatres of war instead of focusing on the main objectives of capitulating Britain and Russia.

Italy was on the verge of anarchy, and people today can't even conceive of how poor it was. And fractured: Mussolini's regime was as popular as any regime then could be. This probably wasn't a majority right away, but once the establishment closed ranks around him, it probably was.
By the time he was executed, Mussolini had been reduced to a senile puppet being publicly shown up by SS colonels. Not a good way to end anything.

US people bash monarchy unnecessarily. They would be way better off with a monarchy. I mean, no lefties would be arround, and if they were, I think they would be supressed with might.
They lost it after the WW2, and they can't restore it because of the constitution. Big hold back. Just give the monarchs more power, only better things would come out in todays context.
