Video gaming is associated with high intelligence and abstract problem solving. I believe that video gamers on average are more intelligent than the general population. They tend to also be more creative. Therefore I think they are indeed red pilled.

A lot of gamers these days are just normies who only like indie games or watch let's plays and buy merchandise because they want to seem quirky and nerdy.

Depends on the gamer. I don't find the people who play FPSs and Madden exclusively to be overly creative, or very intelligent.

Strategy gamers, I've always felt, were the smartest. There is really large learning curve for games like TW and Europa so to stick with it and actually get good to the point where you can play them decently probably requires a fairly solid intelligence level.

Strategy games and non-meme games that are just plain difficult. A good example is this hunk of shit. To completely beat it, you need to beat the game 3 full times. By the time you get to extreme mode, the levels are filled with hundreds of enemies at minimum, take over 45 minutes to beat, and 1-3 hits will kill you (even at level 100), forcing you to play from the beginning.
For a hack and slasher, you need to plan your shit extremely well, while being extraordinarily adaptable when shit goes differently than you plan.
