Was feudalism really THAT bad?

Was feudalism really THAT bad?

Not really. Nobles had to take better care of their serfs than corporations do now.

It was great if you were a nobleman. But don't worry, you and your children will get to experience it all over again soon.

I'd be down for a resurrection of feudalism.

It wasn't bad it just wasn't very productive

Just look around. We live in a feudal society still - we just call the manor a "corporation."

It's actually worse for labor, since "free labor" means the lords are able to dump the end-of-life labor costs onto the serfs, and remove the serfs from the manor the moment the become unproductive.

This perfectly encapsulates my views as well.

Trump pretty much mopped the floor with her.

He talked about REAL issues, REAL matters that actually are important to voters.

Hillary just focused on petty childish attacks.

Polls agree - Trump is the clear winner.

Goddamn, what a waste of satanic quads.

Feudalism had the advantage of giving oppression a face and a name.

>tips ushanka

oh user, we are still in feudalism, except aristocracy is gone

I welcome death with open arms

really makes you think

Ok, children, listen. Many societies are based on a hierarchy, and in those societies the rich have wonderful lives and the middle class have ho hum lives and the poor suffer.

That is the best that humanity can do. Eventually all the developed nations will have some form of socialism mixed with capitalism, but the above statement will hold.

The only alternative is pure communism where everyone's life sucks.

yes accept you fate

Let's get back on topic

Go to almost any village in England, and look at the church. If it isn't a later building, you'll be looking at the product of that system. And find any building built since nearby that's half as impressive.

There was a lot of variation really, it sucked hard if you were a russian or german peasant but in places like britain and northern spain it was somewhat comfy

If Kek wills it.

>Not advocating a capitalist/distributist system
>Thinking socialism is useful at all
Stay bluepilled user

Quality of life varied widely from Lord to Lord, but in general, most people were happy enough for the most part, most of the time.
