Reagan and GWB destroyed this nation when they slashed taxes on the wealthy and put the tax burden on the middle and poor class. They also exploded the national debt by starting illegal wars and spent on US surveillance state.

He put those two unfunded illegal wars Bush started and put them on the budget. So it made it SEEM like he tripled the national debt. and 5 trillion of the national debt is our own debt. Nor is public debt anywhere near a danger as private debt. Japan has 200% national debt, we have less than 100%.

On the campaign trail, Barack Obama often spoke against the Iraq war. Among the many things he didn't like about it was the way it was funded. Obama said he would end the Bush administration's practice of putting war costs in supplemental budgets and instead count spending for the Iraq war in the overall budget. He argued that it would receive greater congressional oversight and be a more honest way of addressing its impact on the deficit.

Wrong again. Most of the time they keep their money in foreign private bank accounts and don't circulate the money in the economy. When you give stuff to poor people, like foodstamps for example, they spend that money, which does stimulate the economy. Foodstamps is one of our most successful programs.
Why would rich waste money in the USA, which has higher labor standards than say Vietnam, where they have 0.25 cents minimum wage an hour?

Trickle Down, aka Reagonomics, doesn't exist. It wasn't even penned by the Reagan administration and no such claims or plans were even made by the administration. It's bullshit that liberals wave around to make it seem they have a point for their socialist platforms.
Said liberals always forget how the Clinton economy soared under a Republican congress or how the 2008 crisis happened under a Democrat one.

Your autistic mind correlates spending with investment or growth and it also assumes all rich people get their wealth from raw cash instead of the value from their assets.
Money in a bank is always being either invested by the bank or used for loans, which helps the bank make a profit and accrue interest. Said loans are usually used to start up businesses or buy important assets, like a home.
Most rich people don't even have their net worth in raw cash, most of their wealth comes from assets like land or property, which does nothing but help them accrue wealth in the first place and can't be "spent" the way your autistic mind demands.

Cause as I pointed out before the standards are lower in third world nations like Vietnam. That's capitalism faggot. It's about making a buck. Just from what I see in media, see in people I work with and interact with and in day to day life I can make the assumptions that one, there is no unified culture in the US. There are too many different cultures. Two, race change is happening so fast soon whites will be a minority and the majority will inevitably have different values. There is no working model for a modern functioning human in US culture currently. assuming businesses always go where the best conditions for making money exist, wouldn't that mean that the usa would have to lower its standards in terms of basically everything (*not* just taxation, but also regulations, essential working conditions and other things) down to that of china? pretty much every "developed" country is evolving from being about production to being about management and trade, because competing with the standards of a country like china would mean throwing away all the protections your state provides. sure, reducing taxes also helps management and trade, but trump made the argument in favor of competing with china in terms of production, which is kind of silly.

i don't think a comparison to McKinley is fair, because the global economy works differently today. when dealing with current economic solutions, you sadly can't take solutions from a bunch of decades ago and apply them today just because they worked back then (arguing in favor of keynesian economy because it worked before ww2 isn't a good idea either). increasing the tariff on imported goods prevents an economic evolution towards management and trade, or at least makes it more difficult. even if the idea is to reduce outsourcing, i can see this resulting in strong and terrible side effects. if companies can't outsource and focus on management (management in the us, production in a shitty country) then they might just move entirely. i think the entire argument to bring back production jobs in the us in areas that are already being dominated by china or similar countries is bullshit. to compete you need to lower your standards to those of whom you're competing with, and i doubt anybody in the usa would want that just in exchange for a guaranteed (and arguably as a result of that terrible) job.

i'd also like to add that i think that the presidential candidates know this, but bring up this argument to grab votes in the many production areas that were lost. i also consider clinton's argument in favor of renewable energy bullshit, because this is an industry that can easily be dominated by china (and already is, to some degree). the general approach, to invest into emerging industries where china might not be able to compete because of certain conditions to eventually evolve the us econonmy, isn't such a bad idea, but renewable energy might not be the best example for this (that being said, parts of the us could actually be able to compete with china because of a local use for it).

Did you catch it? It was happening right before your eyes the entire night. Did you even get the point? No..? Let me clarify.
This entire debate was nothing more than a beta test for Trump. An analysis of Clinton. What makes her tick.. What are her weak spots.. He was simply watching her. Probing her.. Studying and diagnosing her every move and tactic. And she fell right into his trap like the pawn she is.
This is not an average man you're dealing with here. Make no mistake, this is a genius beyond your wildest nightmares. He was toying with her like a cat with a mouse, while she was fighting for her life. She has nothing left.

Yeah, yet every excuse a company makes for moving a factory elsewhere is to 'improve profitability'. If the company was in the black before outsourcing, and outsourcing just improved the profits, it is obviously feasible to keep production in the US.
The problem is people still believe the textbook Jew, that moving production overseas leads to lower prices for the consumer, not more profits for investors. Yeah, that iPhone and Ford pickup truck sure are priced low.

Why don't you get it: > The government doesn't produce anything. > Corporations provide the services and the products. > The government has given a monopoly to corporations (who lobby and bribe their way to them)
- Refuse government monopolies (apart from maybe on road repairs. You get to decide!) - Replace those with companies staffed and owned by those who care about the quality of the end product (unlike in Flint, Michigan) - This can't be done with corporations that will hire and fire and bring in immigrants (even from the next county) that they figure will fit with their objectives. Sub-par health and safety officers are a boon to cutting corners!

The mortgage crisis happened because Jimmy Carter (Democrat) created a policy that Bill Clinton (Democrat) beefed up that required banks to give homeowner loans to people who couldn't possibly afford to pay back the loan. Yeah but now we are on record pushing Trumped up Economics.
What a time to be alive.
Adam Watson
Bill Clinton repealed laws on financing as well, 'it's the economy, stupid'
Jack Fisher
yes because big businesses don't create as much jobs like small businesses and not much of use when the ceo get 100000% more salary than everyone at the company. not worth investing in, so fuck off
Colton Adams
If it's not worth investing in then why don't you just tank it on your jew stock market? Don't you even know how jew tricks work?
Jayden Hill
No and it has never existed. The state allows you to have property and to pass it onto your children. This is the right of the strongest. If you don't like it move to a desserted island where there is no other humans around. Everywhere else it is the strong who dominate the weak. State is stronger than you so learn to deal with it.
Dominic Gomez
Boy you guys must really be despirate. That trickle down economics has been replaced by Trickle Down Taxation. That is even older and has never ever worked.
Let s see how trickle down taxation is going for you: unemployment is so high you have to lie about who is actually working full time for a living.
Tent cities of homeless going up on the west coast in most of the major cities.
You are taxing sooooo much that in order to keep the money supply up you have printed up how much additional debt? 10 trillion for a total of twenty trillion in national debt.
Your Trickle Down Taxation is insanity and will probably get a couple of billion people killed by the time it's said and done.
You socialist never learn.
Ryder Kelly
TPP IS KILLING small business. How it that working for ya.
Leo Adams
managers and investors of the company in charge of their employees just like anything else.
lets say nike is based in america, manufacturing base in vietnam. the abuse kids for 1$ a day. then store the cash in Switzerland, then buy houses in America.
there should be a fine line on how to do business
Ryan Nelson
Yeah but you see the """investment""" is all locked up in keeping the juice flowing at any cost, so you can't use logic anymore at that point.
Kind of like how ultimately all the """investment""" is tied up in retirement programs and pensions to hold the old people at ransom. These will be plundered for bail-ins and extracted during the course of death care etc.
Angel Watson
>allowing private capitalists have control over a massive sector of our economy. The private sector IS the economy
Chase Barnes
>he told the truth only 3 times wow, guess #imwither now
Camden Fisher
obama cut the budget deficit by 75%. these retards will never understand.
Blake Lewis
Trickle down doesn't work when you lower taxes and increase spending (Bush eras). It does work when you lower both.
Why is this not obvious?
Andrew James
One of the unsung hero points of Trump's middle-range performance the other night was when he went on a rage attack about the Federal Reserve to pound down the point that we're coming up to the cusp of an unprecedented bubble bigly and we'd better get our shit together if we want to have any hope of getting through it.
All the stupid people missed that intervention.
Lucas Scott
Tell me what policies Obama implemented that did this.
Chase Jackson
>Some far-right movements, such as the Nazis
Bentley Hernandez
well where is the money? muh transparency didn't work. and its not working. someone is messing with the money in a way that shouldn't be messed with
William Bailey
Are you that jobs report leaf? Go fuck yourself. Millions of minimum wage PART TIME jobs is not job growth in fact it shows stagnation and unwillingness to keep workers on a full time dole because of shit like pension and SS, that's why corporations are moving overseas our beaurecratic red tap and high taxes stranglehold businesses so while yeah they could have more full time workers in the US it's not feasible because of the benefits they are entitled to give to these workers so they just go overseas, if you give incentive and cuts businesses will have room to pay citizens full time and have profit left over to pay for job securities.
Andrew Lewis
>where is the money Hah, too right.
The money is all just contracts. We don't have enough money anymore to backstop the contracts. That's what they call leveredge. Everything is so stupidly overleverdged that a feather on the back of a camel could cause the whole thing to crash down, but only if the council of rabbis arbitrage it to be so.
Isaac Moore
Thin skinned, incoherent and easily rattled.
Grayson Campbell
Reagan reduced unemployment rate more than any president ever in his second term
Henry Anderson
>trickle down economics It's a term thrown at conservatives to discredit them, and at best it's a gross misrepresentation of credible economic theories like supply-side economics.
>Implying real GDP didn't rise 32% under Reagan >Implying real GDP hasn't only risen 10% under Obama
Owen Powell
Historically, what doesn't work is merely exiling these people when they get out of hand, because then they start it back up next door.
Nor do public executions work.
What works is public education.
Colton Thompson
Op; I will help you understand how the world works. So that when you leave community college you can prosper. In central Florida, Govenor Rick Scott Gave Embraer a 20.8 Million dollar tax cut. As a result Embraer, is Outsourcing jobs from Brasil (3rd world) to Florida (modern world) As a result they are building two facilitites to staff with high paying jobs.
Jobs for professionals and non professionals paying in the top 10%.
Do you know why Embraer is outsourcing to Florida. Because Brasil makes it impossible to do work there, with shit labor unions that demand 6 weeks paid vacation and are impossible to fire. Q.E.D.
Joseph Gonzalez
Yea, its much better for us to raise taxes and put all that money under the control of highly corrupt politicians so they can pay off their backers.
Jack Brown
>Update] [Auto] Then how do you asplain 20 trillion in debt?
Carson Williams
Yeah because we have horrible trade deals and tariffs. If a corporation wants to bring money here they get taxed 35% percent. All Hillary wants to do is raise taxes. We need that money coming back to the USA so it's spent and recirculated back into our economy.
Jackson Miller
You should stop being a fag, and apply for one of these high paying jobs, If you get hired and make 70k a year. You can thank Rick Scott Maybe you two can enjoy capitalism
Nicholas Baker
I really love this false meme.
Landon Watson
Unless you're a business owner, cutting taxes will actually lower your income.
Due to lax immigration laws, companies will always pay the lowest amount they can so their employees can survive.
There is no reason for someone like me to raise my employees' wages regardless if I'm having higher profits or not because immigrants and visa holders make then replaceable. It just goes against common business sense and it's amazing how dumb repubes still believe it.
TLDR: Republicans and conservatives are morons.
Jackson Morales
Winter is coming
David Lopez
Cutting taxes without curbing government spending is always a recipe for disaster.
Tax cuts work if you aren't spending $2000 on a stapler.
Connor Long
>this level of reality denial
Gavin Diaz
Obama blames bush for latent impact of economic policies but clinton doesnt have to thank 12 years of republican leadership for the 90s? Derp.

I wouldn't say Wikipedia is blatantly leftist. I would say that its articles are formed on the basis of prevailing knowledge and as anyone knows that can be either just fine or total horseshit.
Landon Kelly
big government is economic delusion and massive inflation
Nicholas Rogers

Jose Reyes
It's about lowering taxes so jobs stay here and raising them so if they leave the company is fucked. Wages we will fix later.
Joshua Bennett
The sad thing is even Wikipedia is a vast bastion of unbiased learning these days compared to where people spend most of their internet time.
Lucas Green
to try an make that comparison at all implies you dont really have any idea what you are talking about. The differences in those 2 time periods is staggering and the events have almost no similarity
Its like trying to compare a fire truck and an apple just because they are the same color. You can do it if you want but the results are entirely meaningless
Luke Morgan
but unemployment is back to pretty normal figures. Its a little higher than we would like it but we arent in crisis mode like we were 7 years ago. I know it feel like all the jobs are leaving but the economy is doing pretty damn well all things considered. Why would you fuck it all up out of fear of something we already go past?
Hudson Diaz
Dude U6 unemployment is so bad it isn't even reported anymore even after they rigged it to fuck and back.
Now you have massive waves of students trapped in to debt that the (((government))) ruled they can't even default on so (((they))) can collect lifelong interest payments from the hopeless unemployed.
This is a total shitshow and only the legally blind can't see it.
Jace Howard
>U6 unemployment still far lower than 2009, under bush
Jacob Kelly
That's HW not Dubya.
Jack Campbell
What do you want? Bad or worse? Want to talk about SHUTTING DOWN the M3?
This isn't about comparing different CIA neocon bullshit artists. It's about peaceful regime change and nothing short of it.
Joshua Murphy
Well Reagan was dealing with a retarded thing called "stagflation", the deficit was almost nonexistent and his plan worked then The issue is more that every republican since has tried the same plan as a solution to every problem
Angel Perez
Every republican since? You mean just the Bush administrations? Bush bailed out the banks and doubled down on our education fiasco. Try again faggot
Christian Butler
>this "Economic sanity" has a 0% success rate over the past century. No thanks
Gabriel Taylor
Totally bluepilled faggot. Just keep letting them tell you its all ok while the world burns
Jordan Scott
My family was fine under Reagan m8
Why are you so poor?
Jaxon Jenkins
... By giving Iran enough cash to purchase nuclear weapons of their own, to self-check their own uranium enrichment process, as well as a trade contract worth billions of dollars with China, as well as lifting its sanction?
Sounds like a great deal for iran desu

I am an economist. Trump's tax policy sucks, especially the way he is framing it, but I'd still vote for him.
Kayden Peterson
I see. Yes, I'll take economic advise from PIIGS anytime. Please say more.

Food stamps, social security, section 8 housing, corporate welfare, international welfare, federal student loans, just to name a few. Sense FDR we've had a lot of socialism,

>A snooch was a small leather pouch, sometimes perfumed with rose petals[3], used by Victorian women to contain and collect their flatulent gases. The lady would place the open snooch near her bottom end when the abdominal build up of a fart was felt and would then quickly close the snooch once the gas had been vented through her anus, trapping the flatulence inside[4]. These filled snooches were collected weekly by the snoochmaster general[5] and delivered to Her Majesty The Queen, who boosted national revenue by selling the packets of ladyfarts to syphilitic Frenchman, since that it was believed at the time that the aroma of the "exhaust of an English woman's rear" could stem the progress of the rampant disease[6]. It has historically been rumoured, but never confirmed, that Victoria kept a certain share of the snooches for her own personal use.
