What are the frontiers of experience?

Woah there OP. ACTUAL Redpill is not going to fly here. McKenna is beyond what this board has the capacity for

This desu

Most people here would require an additional 100 IQ points to understand what he was saying

Immediately when someone talks shit about McKenna you know they have no fucking clue and they're just perpetuating their ignorance

Drug addict degenerate convincing thousands to fuck up their minds

Also fuck you for posting talks with background music. I don't need no fucking music to listen to him, that just pisses me straight away

"The state acts as the arm of dominator culture."

Pineal gland status: Rock solid and falling apart

Is it true Cred Forums can you not handle Terrence McKenna?

The most red pilled man of them all. I don't think many on Cred Forums would like him though, for some reason Cred Forums sees LSD as a degenerate drug instead of the eye-opening experience that it is.

The mechanical elves told him to never relax around blacks, he's cool.

>pseudoscience

You're an idiot.

Preaches at a Church every month. Talks current state of Socialism.

Is this guy Satan? Or source? Should he be on a watch list? Should I trust what he says?

What does a NATSOC do with guys like this??

ben garrison

ben garrison

oh ouch DUDE WEED

He really liked tripping out and started to kind of worship it and felt like it was responsible for everything. There's some truth to what he said but he was a little bit too fanatical imo.

These plebs can take it only after they do what he says. he makes more sense once you taken your own introspective journey with the correct "medicine"

All of his ideas culminated in his "time wave zero" theory which was supposed to be some big revalation for mankind on Dec 21, 2012. Of course nothing happened.

McKenna was an interesting guy that was slowly loosing his grip on reality after years of abusing mind altering drugs. He's interesting to listen to and read about, but he's not someone to take seriously. There are way better people to read if you're interested in the psychological benefits of psychedelics.

>I like McKenna, but his his fan are fucking self-righteous hippie dolts

So what makes you any different then if that's how you perceive me?

Was I wrong?

Let me guess, you're some combination of:

a) Your experience with psychedelics has led you to believe you have some insight into the machinations of reality withheld from the drooling general populace
b) Not only do you go to festivals, but you somehow take them seriously, like they're actually the manifestation of some kind of cosmic work.
c) You flirt with the idea of being enlightened, which confuses you from time to time because you seem to have a pretty big ego about having no ego.

And if you insist on knowing the key difference is I don't automatically disrespect someone from not taking a figure like McKenna seriously.

Maybe because it's ruined so many minds, lives and caused people to commit suicide.

McKenna was 1% interesting 99% abject retard

>mfw I thought that was George Lucas

You sometimes see in others what you see in yourself.

a)Drunken potatonigger rambling about how substances are nothing more than a cheap thrill (Typical)
b)Never been to a festival
c)I never claimed about having no ego

>Presumptive Irish """""intellectual"""" trying his hardest to defend another backwater shithole whose only insight on the subject is a one-word answer

Whew

Spoopy

Terrence McKenna was og badass

> t. neurosci fag

>All of his ideas culminated in his "time wave zero" theory which was supposed to be some big revalation for mankind on Dec 21, 2012. Of course nothing happened.
>nothing happened.

Some decades nothng happens. Some years, decades happen. We've had decades worth of happennings between 2012 and now.

Psychedelic drugs are fun for a bit.
After some time it gets to be the same old mind explosions.

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Hit a nerve I see!

>cheap thrill
Never said that. And the lack of refutation in your phrasing seems to suggest I'm right about your attitude.
>Never been
Been to quite a few actually. Back from Boom. Plenty of serious drones like you floating around
>no ego
I only said you flirted with the idea, which you definitely fucking have you self-righteous prick.

Go on then, justify calling anyone who does not appreciate McKenna an idiot.

Fucking b tier thread here m8

I'm familiar with a great deal of his theories. He's extremely speculative in his "first human psychedelic encounter" theory, he tends to interpret everything through the psychedelics.
Is this what you had in mind?

he was a smart guy who got his funding from the federal government, basically he replaced Leary

not a bad guy but I suggest you read the books he did for best results

>McKenna is beyond what this board has the capacity for

we invented Mckenna,

yeah except he didn't really use drugs after a certain point, but he was paid to encourage others to do so

A mixed bag of redpilled insights and drug induced psychosis ramblings

>LSD caused many people to commit suicide
[citation needed]

>Psychedelic drugs are fun for a bit.

they are deeply important to the human experience or else they wouldn't be in the bible

just like life huh?

>>mfw I thought that was George Lucas

George Lucas' first film job was filming the murder at the Altamont festival while the Rolling Stones performed sympathy for the devil

>Do we love him or hate him?

"Cred Forums, please tell me what to think"?

There is one famous case of a guy in Manhattan taking LSD and then leaping off the building rooftop. So, if "many people" means "one person," that statement is accurate.

Yes, but at least with life you can get some sleep in and not be wandering around tripping/unable to sleep all night.

What u mean he got govt money??

...By who?

Looks like a white Samuel L Jackson
