C. Richard Allen, the director of the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency, called phentermine “cheap speed” to The New York Times. Side effects of phentermine include:
>Trouble with thinking, speaking, or walking >Decreased ability to exercise >False or unusual sense of well-being >Insomnia >Nervousness >Increase in sexual ability, desire, drive, or performance >Confusion
Readers can determine for themselves if these symptoms remind them of anyone.

Let's assume this Gawker "rumor" is true. Stimulants are used to solve many non life threatening illnesses/disorders ex. ADD. Is Trumping having ADD a smoking gun anyone would give a fuck about? Thanks for wasting my time you autistic fuck

This story came out a while ago but made no impact at all, suggesting that it's either untrue or unverifiable.
Either way, from all accounts, it was back in the 80s and used to help him lose weight. It's doubtful that he uses it now.
I've used phentermine, it speeds up your heart rate considerably. I highly doubt he'd take such a thing before the debate, for example, where he would need to remain calm.
It seems to me that the only artificial stimulant Trump uses is caffeine via Diet Coke once or twice a day, apparently with his lunch or dinner. I've wondered if he drinks tea at all, since he says he isn't into coffee, but have found nothing to prove or disprove it. Personally I can see Trump with a cup of tea in the morning.
Anyway, if there was substance to this phentermine thing, it would've been a huge scandal already. We KNOW Hillary is on *something*, most likely a cocktail of drugs, but imagine if we could pinpoint it down to one specific stimulant? It would be yuge nuse
