I'm aware of that, I spent a lot of time in turkey. DNS blocking websites is a load of shit for that reason, the internet is well capable of being distributed enough to avoid this so easily. And it's quite clear from the state of Turkey that this doesn't even effect normies, everyone knows how to circumvent it. ICANN are already corrupt and taking payments, countries can already DNS fuck their inhabitants just as well as they can if they could control this, just effecting other countries, which could, if they choose to, even go as redirecting requests to the affected servers, if they can't reject it from being put into place.
