In short, this Longer explanation is that your government just handed out the DNS, the service that holds the names of all the websites (like google.com or Cred Forums.org) to a private company.
Should they decide to blacklist Cred Forums, and be sure that they will, the only way to access it again would be through its IP, but it will be useless as 80% of its browsers would be filtered out and the resistance dispersed. Moreover, if the board agrees to blacklist Cred Forums, we're literally one step away from the government agreeing to that as well. A few falseflag "terrorist" posts are enough to give a reason to the government to do so.
The above may not be quite a highly likely scenario, but the fact that it is likely enough is terrifying enough, since if Cred Forums (and the chan culture in general) falls, the freedom of speech on the internet goes down as well. With it goes freedom of speech in real life.
We can't allow that, and there's actually a very easy way to prevent it - spread material that is basically undisprovable and will trigger every single government if spread - what we refer to as "redpills" here.
