Manufacturing is simply getting more expensive worldwide, it makes sense for GM to move to Mexico for 10 years and fatten their bottom line, but the 21st Century is already in motion to get more expensive for those kind of manufacturers. Automation isn't just going to become a convenience, it's going to become an inevitability and working against the tide isn't going to help the US economy
