I JUST asked why it killed so many.
Can't you fucking read your own post?
Let me quote a great man:
>If you kill your enemy, he wins
Communism lost.
because it goes against human nature so it caused a lot of resistance at first. they dressed it up as some equality for all, international peace and gibsmedat bullshit, same as now.
Do you think communism (like socialism) uses more resources than it produces, and thus, requires mass killings to reduce the population below the rate of consumption?
because it wasn't true communism
Mentioning the dictatorship of the proletariat, without defining it, was the worst mistake Marx made (except for creating a degenerated form of Hegels philosophy),
Since he didn't define it, many people had a different approach on the dictatorship of the proletariat, which is necessary to establish communism according to marx.
In most cases it ended in a one-party-rule under one leader.
The old ruling class was replaced by a new ruling class, that still didn't give a fuck about the proletariat.
The leader + one-party rule was "the proletariat".
Ceausescu depopulated Romania, not the planet.
because humans don't work well with political philosophies
thats a completely retarded chart
for yugoslavia it ascribes ww2 dead to "communism". and the years next to names imply killings happened during that time (1945-1992) which is obviously wrong.
just generally i think its retarded to ascribe all dead in a given period to "communism". its like saying lynchings in the US, or the Okie dust bowl are results of "capitalism".
real body count would be shot or starved in gulag, or the dead due to a very specific policy, like the failures of the "great leap forward". even holodomor is arguably not a deliberate policy, but a failure in response. is US response to Katrina result of "capitalism"? Or W incompetence?
>inb4 gommie
nah i m libertarian. just not retarded.
no, it just weeds out the resistance. Stalin and Mao banned abortions at first because they wanted to hike the birth rate
>its retarded to ascribe all dead in a given period to "communism". its like saying lynchings in the US, or the Okie dust bowl are results of "capitalism"
that might be a good analogy, if communist governments weren't notorious for being police states that deliberately kill off millions of their own populations, like the Holodmor, or the Great Leap Forward. Capitalism doesn't imply a form of government either, whereas Communism does. Many differences make it plausible that if you are dying in your own county, and your country was communist, it was because a Pol Pot was social engineering the country into "success"
In general they were trying to forcefully recreate man into something he wasn't.
As for China, Mao was an incompetent administrator on top of all that.
The Great Leap was just propaganda for the early 20th century equivalent of millennials.
Holodomor was babby shit among what Stalin and Mao did, they just burned some crops. In reality, most of the commie victims died through brutal executions or hell on earth labor camps.
>muh 100 gorrilion
Because it wasn't my particular brand of Communism that will work much better than every other form of Communism before it honest.
Vote Stein/Kebab 2016.
Communism is a kike utopia like multiculturalism is. Communism failed spectacularly and as for multiculturalism...well...I hope you've got your safety helmet on because the next 20 years are going to be a fuckin ride.
Triple WEW lad.
>they just burned some crops
they did a little more than that.
They took viable estates and broke them up into tiny useless plots and then turned over management of said plots to ignorant party peons from cities that knew shit about farming.
On top of that, none of the food they produced provided any sustenance to the producers since it was redistributed by the state elsewhere, in industrial areas.
To accomplish the great leap forward the state told farmers to melt down their tools to create "pig iron". It turned into useless slag and then people ended having farm with bare hands.
The deadliest part about Communism isn't that its evil, just that its suicidally ignorant.
>The Great Leap was just propaganda
it was a forced famine that resulted in 30 million deaths -- 5% of their population. Then it was followed by the Cultural Revolution, which caused even more deaths. 2.5 million people were beaten or tortured to death and 1 to 3 million committed suicide. According to Yang Jisheng,
>"people were beaten or killed for reporting the real harvest numbers, for sounding alarm, for refusing to hand over what little food they had left, for trying to flee the famine area, for begging food or as little as stealing scraps or angering officials
...
I guess the split on immigration is the most important thing.
Marx & Engels wrote some nasty stuff on labor migration.
