There was another piece of information I came across around the same time, which suggested that members of the Insane Clown Posee, you know that joke band, had actually become insane and dressed up as clowns, but I can't recall where that was suggested.

I live in North Florida and I have heard of clown sightings in DeFuniak Springs (A few towns over) allegedly, they are standing in the tree lines near playgrounds and stuff.
