When I was young (Up to high school, roughly) I only played strategy games, then I switched to FPS, and only then I discovered WoW because a friend wanted me to join him on his private server

At that time, Cataclysm was released, but everybody was still playing wotlk of course

I wish I could've known the quality of retail. Even after many years and super competent teams, private server content still isn't an accurate copy of retail.
