The film industry is all about social acceptance and approval unlike business or production where you climb based on your performance. If you want to continue working in film you have to be accepted by people on the set, casting, hair and makeup, wardrobe etc....and those departments are 95% blue haired liberal females and the other 5% is gay males, all liberal.
