That never happened. There wasnt enough research to make the determination. Clearly their fuggen demons man. They evolved into demons, thats what was happening.

Actually thats exactly what happened. They changed it too humans being injected with a super human gene that turns them into monsters.

There was something different about doom guy (karl urban's) gene apparently which is why it had the opposite effect.


Just on a side note. No matter what they did wrong with this flick, Im still happy they at least got the UAC facility looking right.
