This is Nolans worst film

This is Nolans worst film

It must be a hard life having such bad taste

no memento is

no the dark knight is

literal pleb detected

yes poor you

I know op is baiting but let's forget about him and talk about movies like we allways do.
It's either that or man of steel but I do think they could have kept the magic out of the prestige it and it would have been a better movie.

Why? What's wrong with it?

I nominate Dungkirk. What a fucking snorefest.

>ITT: No one that has watched Following

I used to enjoy Nolan but it was a perfect storm of being disappointed by Interstellar then watching the Following that I realised his work really isn't that great. His films do have some gorgeous shots but the stories and themes of his films are severely lacking.

he didnt direct man of steel you retard

>it woz le brothers all along

>love is the answer

Even if that were true it is still a great film

You need help finding your way back to your cave?

I get that this is a troll thread with troll replies, but in all seriousness and memes aside, TDKR is easily his worst movie. It's pretty much a b-movie with a blockbuster budget. The horrible fight choreography, hilariously bad acting, and awful writing, nothing even comes close.

thats his best

this

This. Most of Nolan's filmography, though overrated, is fairly solid. The Dark Knight Rises is really the worst of his career. He didn't care about finishing the trilogy by this point, and it showed.

Get fucked. I havent even seen 'following' and already know its his worst film.

>inception
Why does he like to ruin the movie just as it's about to end?

And it's still a great film. Based Nolan.

>other people must think the same as me

Name a single good thing about TDKR

when bruce makes the climb

Bane, unironically

That's what I thought of as soon as I hit submit. Probably the only good scene in the entire movie. Still didn't make up for the rest of the movie though.
Absolutely not, as a Bane fan since the 90s that stupid accent and origin story was an insult.

the plane scene at the beginning is very good

I'll agree with that. There are pacing problems in the The Prestige, but it IS expertly acted and the plot is cool. But honestly, there's probably an hour of slow scenes where you just with the movie would get to the point a bit faster. Bowie plays a kickass Tesla. Overall it's *pretty* good, but probably not great. It's a great indicator of a filmmaker's skill when his worst movie is still pretty good.

American Psycho is unironically his worst fucking film. It's pretentious as all hell, especially with the ending. Also, some of the worst acting I've seen in a lead role, and I'VE SEEN SOME SHITTY MOVIES.

I so wanted to like this movie but it was trash; not for bein boring and for glaring and redic’ immacuracies

Comic Bane is fucking retarded AND should never have existed past the one story he was created for

It was like Plan 9 and The Room rolled into one.

Nolan didn’t direct it, also expertly directed movie (by a woman no less)

I still crack up when they send the entire Gotham police department into the sewers, and then they're still alive in uniform ready to fight when they come up weeks later

Original Comic Bane >>> Animated Series Bane >>> Modern comic Bane >>>> all the other Bane incarnations

>a Bane fan since the 90s

lol you fucking shitter, only modern Bane in recent years has somewhat been getting decent.

>any movie with christian bale
>bad

Brainlet opinions general?

Fuck you, I was a kid and loved the fact that a brute could also be a mastermind

That's not Dun(with the script)kirk.
He was in the Moses movie, which was rather subpar.

Have you seen The Machinist?

Interstellar was my favorite Nolan movie

>he hasn't seen knight of cups

There's nothing wrong with that idea, it's just how corny Bane used to be compared to more practical present.

A juiced luchador that looks like he jumped off a Spawn page, is much worse than a tacticool paramilitary guy. In both cases a mastermind brute, but how he looks/operates and how the writers use him is totally diferent.

Luchador was great for comics and cartoons
Military guy worked better for a movie
I still hated it, might as well have used a different villain. They couldn't keep the spirit of the comic character while turning up the realism like they did with all the other villains. Bane is just too over the top for live action.

And it's my favorite from Nolan.

I've watched it twice and didn't realise that was Black Widow

It started so well though

its the best one actually

For me from best is
Interstellar for music
prestige
everything else is meh

and then they charge Bane mercenaries on foot and have fist fights, despite the automatic rifles being used

a child could do it
and it turned out it was a girl

pleb = filtered lmao

it's laughably bad

Prestige is shit because the movie literally tells you the twist several times.

Once when he "transports" in his wife's apartment.

Again when the young boy goes "where's its brother" and Christian Bale gives the most foreshadowing-signal expression of all time.

Again when it's clear the movie is about obsession so when Michael Caine goes "IT'S A DOUBLE" and Hugh Jackman denies it, you just know that's gonna be what it is.

I just watched it for the first time yesterday so it's decently fresh in my mind. God The Prestige is shit. It's Nolan's most generic movie, and the whole cloning twist at the end might've been the most retarded thing I've ever seen from a movie lmao

>foreshadowing is bad i like when movies pull twists out of their ass
fuck off

>i like my movies to be 2 hour pretentious cologne adverts
whos the pleb really?

Nolan doesn't have a bad film he just have films that are slightly less amazing than the others.

The scenes between Bruce and Alfred

dubs of falseness

Dunkirk was such a letdown though.

>Oh we invaded the continent and got BTFO, poor us, we are the ultimate victims, we never deserved this, Hitler is going to take over the world hurr durr.

It could have been good if they just made characters with some realism, instead of altruistic "perma-sad because we are oppressed" bullshit characters.

Also I wish the Spitfire pilot knew how to lead with his guns; it was painful to watch.

dark knight would've been the worst had it not been for heath ledger's performance

>its an amerifat is jealous of britains war legacy episode

so he has films that are worse than his other films, in other words his bad films

>Best
Memento
>Worst
The Prestige

I call bullshit on you realizing the twist you mong

>waaaaaaaaaah why is this british film about a british event so british waaaaaaaaaah

>Best
The Prestige/Memento
>Worst
Easily TDKR, and although I loved it, Interstellar is pretty weak

>memento
have you even seen the batman trilogy?

production design, the set pieces, sound design, cinematography, costume design

That's true for literally all of Nolan's movies post The Following

B R A V O
A
N O L A N
E

Dunkirk is the worst

fuck off

>kept the magic out of the prestige
Tesla is just a conman. The "duplicator" is just a fancy lightshow machine and the tophats were placed there by Tesla to con Angier out of money. When Angier realizes the deception, he cooks up the fake journal and uses the "dead angier clones" to extract revenge on Borden.

No it's not. Man Of Steel and Interstellar are.
