Don't loose hope! Thunderbolt is a good start, not just in terms of animation, but that it was an adaptation of a well liked UC manga. Word on the streets is there might be a Crossbones adaptation. Also more Origin OVAs!

I don't about you guys, but I felt that 00 s2 had more replay value than s1. The intensity of the battles are much better in that the power levels in both sides are fairly matched in tech and ace strength. The UNDERSTANDING also wasn't so bad, since some characters like Setsuna and Tieria did show development from their s1 selves. I just like to think s2 is a critical part to what made 00 as a whole good.
Movie is a hit-or-miss though.
