I've heard about it when the first season was airing. The disappointment kept me away from reading the manga.

That's unfortunately what happens when the rival/side character turns out to be more popular in Japan that the main character. The author either ignores the fans and watches sales start diving, or they cave in and try to keep the series afloat.

Hopefully the better sales in Japan means that she will be focusing on Ui more and less Rin.

By far the most pointless manga series i've ever read. The story is almost about nothing, all it has going for it is panty shots.

In terms of character development, it is terrible. I mean, 10 volumes in and we don't know the characters hobbies, how they interact with other characters off school, how they enjoy vacation, and they don't even have official birthdates.

I never realized how shallow the series was until I realized that I really don't know anything about the cast except everyone is a pervert.

It is frustrating because the manga-ka can draw beautiful girls and guys and her art is generally nice. She just can't write for jack shit.

She needs to suck it up and hire a professional writer to do the script. Cute girls in ecchi situations are nice, it is even better when they are written well.

The anime will likely cover the tail end of volume 5, since it is important in volume 6, and it would probably cover volume 7 and 8. The chances of this getting animated is never, unless they do a season 3.

Well, typically people scan series because they like it or for the glory and attention. Unless the manga is the greatest thing ever, it typically takes a while for a manga to gain popularity.

It takes a while to do scanlation, and to do it well, so there is a pretty big disparity in skill and quality. When you don't get much attention, it is disheartening.

Then you also have people that scanlatoes call "snipers" and they are groups who wait until a series gets popular and then shit out terrible and half assed speedscans. Most scanlators drop the series after it, and now all you have left is a half assed manga speedscan.

TL:DR sniping sucks, and it hurts scanslations.

Nope, HS released both versions that had cute skits instead of lewd scenes and possibly light beams (I didn't check them all) as well as ones with nipples and full uncensored lewd. It was great. No idea if CR did the same but I'd assume it did since HS usually doesn't go out of their way to offer uncensored rips.
