Hiro has asked us to create a thread on each board for discussing the problems that are facing us and how to deal with them. He also wants us to create our own set of rules so that the mods will be regulated to follow them.
Remember mods, Hiro talked to you guys and you said it was fine to have one thread up about this.
I think its not worth making another thread until we see how hiro handles what we prepared. Also, sadly, probably this sage
Isaiah Wright
Good idea.
Less Cred Forums and Cred Forums faggotry. To do this, no mercy for anything remotely similar coming out of those boards.
>inb4 but muh tumblr and reddit!
Same goes for those two. But this is already an enforced ruled anyway.
Owen Richardson
Ban Naruto
Daniel Moore
Is this the "complain about mods being shitheads who ban people for no reason" thread?
Nathaniel Powell
idk if this is bait BUT
A rule to prevent all those faggots trying to get dubs would be nice. Keep that shit on Cred Forums
Owen Diaz
>one thread per board I think we are already way past that, don't you think?
Jose Bell
memes
Charles Evans
>Cred Forums in the fucking screenshot Nice shitpost, now fuck off.
Michael Morales
It doesn't matter. If an idea is common enough in the rules/moderation thread, a mod will eventually see it and may bring it up to hiro when they discuss shit.
Ayden Nguyen
Fuck off.
Cooper Gomez
Linking to reddit, facebook, or tumblr is a bannable offence. Similarly, posting images with tumblr filenames should be a reason to be banned.
James Martin
there is a rule. none of the shitty mods or janitors will enforce it.
Henry Clark
Hiro is a stupid newfag.
Sebastian Morales
Ban NTR
Bentley Carter
Ban all Cred Forums related shit.
Matthew Wright
B& tumblr on Cred Forums. B& Cred Forums on Cred Forums. B& image.jpg. B& generals. Have the mods be more involved in board culture. Bring back grammar nazism.
Kill you're self.
Cooper Wilson
We don't need stinky mods, fuck those sjw idiots let us moderate ourselves and that's it.
Luis Ward
Ban all battle shounen trash, including Re:Zero.
Chase Lopez
ban emiliafags
Hunter Ortiz
Everything's fine, leave us alone
Benjamin James
It'll at least help somewhat
Eli Torres
merge Cred Forums and Cred Forums together
Dominic Watson
>LN adaptation >shounen Ban people who don't know how demographics work.
Lucas Richardson
BAN EVERYTHING I DON'T LIKE!
Gavin Davis
Moderate the boards.
Yes, it's that simple.
Carson Barnes
So you don't want people posting images from their phones? Ok.
Christopher Richardson
Are we having this thread daily?
Luis Mitchell
MODS TAKE THEIR JOB VERY SERIOUSLY.
Jonathan Bennett
Ban gay posts Ban trans posts Ban loli posts Ban "so depressed my life sucks XD" posts Ban "I'm a fat shithead so everyone else is" posts Ban everything not directly related to anime and manga Keep /lgbt/ and /r9k/where they belong
Aiden Walker
every day until you like it
Nathan Parker
FUCK OFF TO LEDDIT LIBETARD
Brody Mitchell
SAGE
Cooper Carter
I´m checking the old threads to quote good posts. making so many meta threads just annoys people and they start shitposting as you can see Check the old threads and pick things from them. not like we really need too much material. Hiro wants to be spoonfed little by little after all ; ^)
Dylan Watson
Gotta start with new mods first. The mods we have now have got to go. All ties with moot must be severed as well. This needs to be Hiro's show, and anything tied to moot's shit stains must be eliminated
Dominic Gonzalez
>rezero fag detected >>>/reddit/
Logan Rogers
Case in point.
Carter Carter
>people talking about niggers, black lives matter, brexit and all that shit on japanese cartoon board
Andrew Fisher
Its not a bad idea, since it saves him time having to shove through a bunch of shit to find the golden egg. moot would probably ask us to do the same exact thing for him.
Brody Clark
Make Cred Forums a NSFW board, or at least allow nipples just like it has always been, stop complaining about loli so much, we will discuss VNs/LNs and occasionally full-fledged illusion eroge here and yes, Cred Forums and /jp/ have similar tastes and some subjects will fall under both boards, just fucking accept it already.
Please keep naruto out as well, move it to trash, anything.
Michael Lee
Ban Cred Forums. Actually just delete Cred Forums as a board altogether, it doesn't even work as a containment board because they don't fucking contain themselves.
Aiden Evans
We need more loli post loli in this thread please.
Jaxon Edwards
> All ties with moot must be severed as well Actually, now that moot's gone, bring back modcat.
Jack King
Please don't. It's so much fun
Jordan Cook
Modcat, kinomod, WT Snacks, Sysadmin, W.
Do it.
Joshua Powell
Kill yourself.
Austin Morales
I want generals to not exist anymore unless they are buyfag or DJT. Everything else should be banned.
Justin Young
I don't even know who our mods are anymore
Evan Long
>Cred Forums Kill re'you self
Nathaniel Garcia
Sticky my thread.
Isaac Flores
The difference is that modcat actually wanted to come back and moot wouldn't let him. The others are just gone, there's nothing hiro can do about that. Except kinomod, I'm pretty sure he's still technically around but just doesn't do much.
Wyatt Thompson
WE NEED A STICKY it should look like this that's it, that's all you need to do, you don't even need to think up of a clever image
Henry Nelson
Nah,fuck off to another board for nsfw shit
Cooper Gutierrez
Ban these stupid threads.
Jayden Wilson
Don't the drawthreads generate a decent amount of OC?
Cameron Rogers
>ban me for saying "re zero fags"
You have no idea how fucking angry I am. Truly they do it completely for hotpockets and tendies.
Lucas Scott
>unless they are buyfag or DJT 'no'
Xavier Gutierrez
Cred Forums is basically Cred Forums except with even less influence. I'm not sure why people are so hung up about it. Just let them be shits on their own.
Bring back visible moderation with good mods and sage.
Cameron Jenkins
I agree with all that though, why did you quote me.
Christian King
>WE NEED A STICKY Kill yourself.
Anthony Green
Isn't Re:Zero under shonen demographic?
Aaron Watson
Sure thing senpai.
Jack Jenkins
I am trying to write up a comprehensive but concise explanation for the long-running generals we currently have so I can post them on /qa/. Drawfag threads have the weakest reasons to stay outside of emotional appeal, but everyone likes the oc produced in them.
What does everyone think about seiyuu threads?
Colton Anderson
>ban generals but don't ban the generals i like
Jackson Green
Please ban anyone that calls Saten a slut. Thanks mods.
Nathan Long
We should pull an april's furs on /wsr/ and permaban everyone that went there. Just for fun.
Kevin Lopez
>Ban general
I never understand this. Why you people hate generals so much? Do you prefer whole board filled with different threads of same anime?
Ryan Hill
With Hiro now running the show, maybe we can get him to reach out to modcat. Fuck maybe even Snacks, but that would take a lot of convincing
Grayson Gutierrez
kill waifu threads
Connor Jackson
No, user, an LN is not under a manga demographic, that doesn't even make sense. Maybe the manga adaptation is, I have no idea, but since the anime is not an adaptation of the manga adaptation, that's irrelevant.
Sebastian Gonzalez
>Its not a bad idea, since it saves him time having to shove through a bunch of shit to find the golden egg. you seem to imply he gives enough of a shit to search for it in the first place. I´m doing this as a last resort, but if that gook lectures us again while bravely speaking english I´m fucking done >moot would probably ask us to do the same exact thing for him. moot would have been more cautious about creating new boards which is part of the fucking mess we are into. The niggermods are his fault tho.
Evan Bennett
seiyuu threads can stay
Eli Howard
Seiyuu are 3dpd and should be banned. They are also popular on /jp/ already as well.
Caleb Bennett
it goes like this >stop talking about things you like, come shitpost in my dead thread intead
Ethan Taylor
Go to the monster musume general, and tell me what value it has beyond "YOUR WAIFU A SHIT" and "Hey guys do you like futa?"
Benjamin Hall
A general is not "any thread for general discussion of a show." A general is a thread that is constantly kept up and is resurrected on death. If we did not have a MonMusu general, I guarantee you we would not have the board filled with MonMusu threads 24/7. Same for Overlord, or Precure, or 90% of the others. They don't contain discussion, they artificially create "discussion" in the form of circlejerking and repetitive memes.
Jose Hughes
>less influence
Cred Forums never influenced a presidential election. Cred Forums is like Cred Forums on steroids in its ability to influence the real world.
Jason Martinez
Please, tell me what purpose the monster musume general has. There hasn't been a new chapter in fucking weeks.
Jordan Hall
Last time I checked they didn´t take requests from non-regulars. apparently you have to write like a faggot too for them to listen
Caleb Peterson
This
Carter Hall
well I guess we'll just have to ban the love live sunshine threads too!
Henry Sanders
That is preferable. That's how Cred Forums used to be. Generals are stale and lifeless, and promote retarded cliquish namefag circlejerking.
Liam Parker
>Cred Forums never influenced a presidential election Palin emails. Ring a bell?
Nolan Baker
If we don't have Generals then every day a popular show airs (Re;Zero, JoJo, etc) the board would be even shittier.
Nathan Bell
COME THE FUCK ON HIROSHIMA >Ban generals of anime that is not airing. >Monthly manga generals should not be allowed. >Weekly back to back manga generals must have more control. >More control on airing anime generals. >Generals related to anime/manga should be allowed but strictly moderated (DJT, Buyfag, Drawthread, etc) >Designated mods per board, no more newfag mods from other boards enforcing their own rules. >Fix image.jpg
There, Cred Forums is now fixed
Jose Adams
>seiyuu threads that clearly belongs to /jp/ IMO
Angel Hill
I don't see how seiyuu threads are Cred Forums-related seriously.
Lincoln Wilson
You get banned for literally anything. If a mod didnt masturbate that day and is pissed, he will pick the first asshole to ban for w/e reason.
Isaac Reyes
It's a huge circle jerk like every other general
Aiden Kelly
>Ban generals of anime that is not airing.
This is acceptable. I just want the fucking cancer that is Monster Musume General gone.
I fucking LIKE monster girls, and even I think it's a cess pool.
Kayden Rogers
I thought general threads were not for a fanbase's benefit, but for everyone else. They are containment if a fanbase becomes too bloated, cancerous, and/or full of crossboarders. Generals may be a cesspool of garbage, but that is not the rest of the community's problem. 62 threads for Re:Zero at one point, remember.
Landon Smith
Nobody gave a shit about those emails, and that was just one guy, not a boardwide collective effort.
David Nguyen
Do they have a general? In that case, yes, ban the general. That doesn't mean banning discussion or threads for it, it just means you fucking stop them from eternally recreating their thread. The only problem is that that requires actual mod attention and personal judgment, and nowadays none of them are willing to exercise those things.
Elijah White
I think the generals should stay. They're already pretty much a part of the culture here anyway. It's also incredibly suspicious how all these general haters suddenly popped up despite almost never showing themselves before. I'm starting to think there's some major samefagging going on.
Nicholas Fisher
Simply a function of Cred Forums's population growing over time. I mean, remember the FBI bomb threats that sent moot to court?
William Brooks
Autoban "kys"
Luis Evans
Even you have to know moot was becoming fucking lazy towards the end. Hell even back in 2011 it was becoming evident he was losing it.
Believe me I'm gonna keep pressing this to Hiro. I'm the one who made the /qa/ thread talking about how Cred Forums has gotten worse since Hiro took power almost one year ago. It was popular enough that Hiro took notice
Jeremiah Nelson
Please, tell me what 'culture' Monster Musume threads have. Please tell me what value there is in shouting "HORSE A SHIT" over and over again.
Camden Peterson
Grammar nazism isn't really necessary outside of serious discussion.
But yeah serious bans. Either pemanent bans or long term ones. Not the weak ass 3 day bans, 1 week bans or even 1 month bans.
Anthony Gray
wow nice post, gave me cancer
Luis Lopez
What does a huge influx of threads for one brief happening moment have to do with continuous threads for literal years after the anime ends?
Adrian Carter
I love Monster Musume, but I agree its got to go. I would send them to /jp/, but the /mmg/ guys despise /jp/
William Fisher
Grade Hiro as this site's admin so far on a letter scale (E is worst, A is best)
Robert Thompson
Perhaps loli will scare normalfags away and redditors.
NFSW should be allowed if it helps cleanse this board of outsiders.
Benjamin Collins
>a letter scale (E is worst, A is best) Where is the alphabet?/26
Henry Hughes
They already fucking exist on /jp/ too. There's two fucking boards with Monster Musume generals on them.
Explain to me how this is okay.
Henry Harris
This desu senpai
Nathaniel Rivera
>continuous threads for literal years after the anime ends? When that happens, I support banning the general. Generals for anime that finished airing should be purged on site. Otherwise, they are good for containment.
Zachary Nelson
I'd give him a B. Maybe a B-. I'm pretty lenient, and he hasn't done anything to fuck things up yet. I prefer a hands-off approach.
Robert Rivera
You should have spoilered the image atleast, or just linked it to an imagehost, NSFW Asuka is still NSFW.
>culture They all have a different culture that has involutioned into cancer and imagedumping. You need to be purged along with them faggot.
Evan Gray
>It's also incredibly suspicious how all these general haters suddenly popped up despite almost never showing themselves before Because there's no way to voice your opinion. You get warned if you report shitfests like the JoJo general.
Ayden Thomas
epic meme friend
Blake Rivera
>But yeah serious bans.
This. And without that thing that makes you able to keep browsing Cred Forums.
Ryder Johnson
Most of us aren't seasonalfags. If you aren't waiting for BDs you are watching a rushed version of your anime.
Oliver Jackson
How about this Allow generals, make the board 12 pages
Brayden Sanchez
D
I know he try his best but he should no taken majority voice that often.
Henry Adams
It already happened. Monster Musume. Precure.
Sebastian Jones
C since he hasn't actually done anything yet.
Adam Torres
*on sight
A- to B+
Samuel Barnes
generals to >>>/ag/
There i fixed Cred Forums
Anthony Parker
Filter it to SHINE KISAMA.
Luke Flores
Stop deleting everything that just SEEMS offtopic, if it's illegal or blatantly offtopic feel free but currently you guys are suffocating content creators.
Aaron Rogers
This rule enforcement will only end in tears I tell you.
Adrian Russell
Then have A thread when the BDs come out. Notice how I said A? As in ONE? Why do you need a general to exist 24/7?
Joshua Davis
Ban generals. There, I fixed Cred Forums without making another board full of cancer that will leak here.
Jace Ward
Isn't Precure still airing though?
Bentley Carter
C Did nothing of consequence. At least moot lit a tyre fire on the way out.
Cooper King
I'd like to know if we can have LN threads here. I'm tired of trying to discuss dungeon defense and then the thread is purged. /jp/ isn't LN friendly.
Tyler Ramirez
You're proving my point. Fuck off wherever you came from.
Angel Myers
Enforce quality not content format
Jack Adams
Allow airing anime generals Allow 3-4 general threads per week for weekly manga. Ban generals of anime that has already ended. Ban monthly manga generals.
Cameron Adams
How about no
Jack Cox
Begrudgingly I'll give it a pass then. But MM needs to die in a fire.
Andrew Perez
We will see then But either he gets his shit together soon or we pass the point of no return The POTUS election is in two months too. without a good moderation team we will take the shitposting quite badly, specially if Trump wins
Charles Nelson
How is that nsfw if i picked it from a blue board that never got deleted. The image itself is not even nsfw, my god.
Nicholas Lopez
> how is this board related?
Luke Ortiz
>Ban unairing generals. >Range ban people who unironically use "general" or "edition" as their thread's title.
Jackson Evans
Leave Cred Forums alone.
Get proper mods that enforce the existing board culture.
Don't try to change it or you'll break it.
Look at any other board, Cred Forums is fine as is and could easily be much worse.
David Bell
Wow you must have been here since 2013. Generals are pure cancer.
Cameron Martinez
Yes, but It's the containment thread for all these magical girl series.
Caleb Gray
Fuck off.
Gavin Evans
create /ag/ already, i know it was an idea in the past and it never happened. but general boards just seem autistic in regular Cred Forums
John Stewart
>Allow 3-4 general threads per week for weekly manga >Allow 3-4 threads that are made 24/7 consecutively throughout the week ?
Connor Howard
I am not nornalfag. But I really uncomfortable seeing pictures of sexualize underage girl. That shit should stay on porn board or /trash/.
Ian Torres
>Allow 3-4 general threads per week for weekly manga. You don't need some sort of hard-and-fast rule. Like the other guy said, get mods with some basic common sense and leave it up to their discretion to decide when something is crossing from "popular series that gets a lot of overall discussion threads" to "artificial general".
Jose Lewis
more Umaru threads :3
Kevin Allen
Ban generals. Too few people to justify them taking this much of the board. Persistently too.
Adrian Jones
Oh fuck no.
Fuck that.
Fuck you.
Chase Moore
Remove the Jojo and Monmusu generals.
Zachary Wilson
That's Monster Girl General. Difference between /mmg/ and /mgg/ is that /mgg/ is much broader in terms of monster and art than /mmg/
Nathan Flores
maybe you should read the rules my disgruntled friend
Austin Stewart
>enforce a new dictatorship style rule, general posters just avoid it by removed "general" from the thread title
>relocate them
Hmm I wonder which solution would work better
Anthony James
Remove:
Jojo GuP Danganronpa Big 3 SNK Re: Zero Arc-V Overlord Umaru MonMusu BHA Black Clover Schwarzmarken Madoka KanColle LL Monogatari Raildex
Feel free to add other generals here. They're all cancer regardless.
Xavier Gray
Why don't we just get better mods that understand this board's history and brand of culture, aren't too anal about off-topic, and are answerable to Hiro?
Lincoln Jones
Same shit different anus.
Andrew Butler
Are you fucking blind? Cred Forums has been getting a lot worse these past few years, it al started when moot cracked down on Cred Forums's self moderation of Naruto threads.
Matthew Russell
I thought that was /ai/?
Connor Campbell
Yeah but I love monster girls.
Owen Wright
>aren't too anal about off topic Hahaha, fuck off
Zachary Green
>Umaru >Black Clover I don't think those have generals
>Raildex You know they're just going to make a generic Mikoto thread for everyone to shitpost in anyway. There's no discernible difference between that and a typical Raildex thread
Dylan Phillips
remove you'reself
Caleb Walker
>enforce a new dictatorship style rule, general posters just avoid it by removed "general" from the thread title >do the exact same thing but tell them to go to another board, which works so well for rec threads There's minimal fucking difference, and no, removing general from the title doesn't "avoid" anything.
Juan Ramirez
Lns should be allowed.
Julian Cox
The mod known as RapeApe was the ones who was forcing the Naruto threads, and RapeApe was apparently very close to moot.
Nicholas Howard
Grow a thicker skin.
Rules can be changed, this is what this thread is about, dumbass.
Aiden Mitchell
They share the same type of fanbase.
Keep the ones that are airing and I'll be ok with your list.
Caleb Jones
>Cred Forums has been getting a lot worse these past few years It's been equally shit as it's always been
Nicholas Flores
Can someone explain why Jojo still has its generals up? They don't even discuss the anime.
Sebastian Russell
Because people want a fucking chat room.
Matthew King
Nice meme. Upvoted.
Joseph Jackson
You are a normalfag.
Connor Brooks
your faggotry makes me uncomfortable, you should stay in gay porn boards ,/lgbt/ or /trash/
Henry Scott
They really really wanted to get the 144444444 get That's all I know about them
Ian Perry
nah
objectively false.
Jacob Sanders
>dungeon defense >Korean Novel
No.
"containment" They'd scatter to other shounenshit threads anyways.
Easton Lopez
...
Xavier Murphy
So do I, but generals are killing it.
Andrew Nguyen
How about threads where blatant /u/ and /y/ posting are present?
Cameron Mitchell
Killing yourself would be a good start OP
Andrew James
THIS H I S
Angel Collins
Loli threads are here to stay since they're a part of board culture.
Luke Thompson
I don't mind generals. On other boards they have their uses, like /tg/ or Cred Forums. But they encourage board culture to balkanise, and on Cred Forums, which has a reputation for being a collective, this could threaten a lot of people.
Now, if there weren't Generals on Cred Forums, Everyone would know about Juzoboys and Jojo rankings, cause they'd be on the front page at all times. We would get more Kill la Kill style invasions. The last show I had fun with Cred Forums on was Mayoiga, and that didn't give me the impression of a General.
It has it's ups and downs, but I prefer Cred Forums without Generals.
Jaxon Gonzalez
Except no one says that, 90% of the posts about generals agree generals should be removed entirely, regardless of their personal feelings about a particular general.
Jaxon Hall
Then get used to the inevitable loli pics
Jason Adams
>Remove "This is your X tonight" >Remove "What did Y mean by this?"
Cooper White
General haters are a vocal minority. The fact that we still have lots of generals shows that the majority likes them. In other words, they are the silent majority, the same thing that's getting Donald Trump elected.
Logan Anderson
Well I doubt Hiro's going to make a monster girl board
Anthony Gonzalez
sure just report and ban like always
Jeremiah Phillips
Honestly tho? I'd rather have Generals than 10x more shit posting.
Sebastian James
The actual enforcement of NSFW content has been generally fine. Outright porn is culled, everything even slightly related to the topic and Cred Forums is left.
Robert Powell
Ban all tripfags.
Lincoln Bennett
agreed
Colton Cox
this + all the other thread shitposting templates
Dominic Cooper
>Honestly tho Kill yourself
Andrew Hughes
>getting offended by images Are you sure you should be on the internet for any other reason than to manage your finances?
Thomas Gutierrez
Never make /ag/. It would be an absolute disaster and would destroy everything moot came to appreciate about Cred Forums over the years.
Brody Morgan
People who didn't get sucked into one want them removes, and people who post in them want them to stay Hiro won't get people to agree, and sice both sides have huge numbers behind them, he won't risk losing masses of ad-viewing users either way. The best way of going about this is moderation on the generals' side until they stop being cancer
Carson Ward
And I don't WANT him to. Why do we need to talk about monster girls 24/7? Why not once a week? Why not when a new chapter comes out? Why does it have to be all the god damn time?
Look, on /m/, generals make sense, because the board is slow as fuck. On Cred Forums, a single general thread can be made, filled, and die in the span of hours. That isn't healthy.
Robert Wilson
Who are the most cancerous trips again?
Zachary Myers
A lot of >lmao >bruh and other crossboarding shitposting cancer.
It's probably from the summer but if they don't fuck off in the next few weeks mods should really insta 2-day ban them.
Blake Nelson
Remove the mods who keep deleting/banning loli and shota. Allow for uncensored BD rip screenshots to be posted, allow non-H manga regardless of the content.
Fire alex strange.
Xavier Moore
I'll agree to let generals exist when someone, ANYONE, can tell me what purpose threads filled with "HORSE A SHIT" is.
Jack Williams
Follow those existing rules and don't delete a thread that's talking about current release in heat when you have no idea what the thread is about
Juan Clark
Generals are already encouraging Cred Forums to balkanise.
Owen Bell
Monster girls isn't all about monster musume you know that right? /jp/ doesn't even talk about MM in their threads. Anyone who likes Monster Girls knows that the KC universe is the canon setting.
Jose Sanders
Anyone who doesn't contribute something other than his opinion. trips were designed in Cred Forums so people like scanlators/TLer/Editors/whatever (people who actually contribute to the people) could talk without getting impersonated.
Blake Walker
>moderation Hahahahahahahaha.
Easton Gray
I love Cred Forums and hiro-chan!!
I think that the rules for this board should be that we must discuss anime and mangoes. Seasonal waifus and general threads should be encouraged. MAL and ANN should be discussed. We should always strive to do our best!! Ganbatte!!
Nathan Sullivan
Well that's my point, have a dedicated janny in the thread to delete the all-caps horse pussy spam, if the thread afterward runs out of fuel and dies like a normal thread, then you won't have a general anymore, if it still has content to keep going, you'll have less cancer. Moderate the threads themselves
Angel Cooper
Bring back /anime/ for longterm discussion.
Adam Price
I'll accept generals on Cred Forums just so the dumb eva fucks can't create 20 threads every day with "What the fuck did I just watch" and "Asuka image dump". Fuck eva and their fucktard fanbase.
Jose Richardson
ban this guy and similar posts
Jason Garcia
After finding out that the mods don't even train the new jannies anymore, I don't trust any of them
Liam Stewart
He should be raped by an ape
Sebastian Kelly
I read it and post about it whenever a thread is up, however short-lived they may be. I think it's fine that they're deleted since I don't think they should be allowed, it would most likely set a bad precedent.
Nolan Butler
Make Cred Forums NSFW Make it a rule every thread must have lolicon hentai in it.
Eli Brown
Ban anyone who has watched less than 300 anime
Samuel Brown
GENERALS MUST DIE
Jose Thompson
As a rule can we agree not to do these threads too often? Hate generals? Hate meta threads? Please don't make meta generals.
I like Cred Forums, I just want more people to use the report feature and take things easier. Mods not needed.
Elijah Reyes
How would you check that?
Anthony Jenkins
Hiro allowed it for a short time while he tries to implement new rules, endure it user.
Camden Rogers
You don't trust them to indentify and delete basic spam within specific threads, but you trust them to single out the recurring threads that fit the general pattern? I thought one of the most pushed points in these meta thread was, we need more janitors and mods, and specifically from the board itself, the sole mod that lurks Cred Forums or whatever and comes here every now and then to remove the frogposters isn't going know shit about Cred Forums
Austin Carter
If a thread requires more attention than any other thread, and exists 24/7, it should be deleted. Why should one thread hog the attention of an already busy moderator?
Jacob Cooper
None of your silly rule suggestions would mean shit without mods that actually do their jobs. And if we had mods that actually did their jobs, Cred Forums would be in much better shape to begin with. So, we need mods that actually do their jobs.
Aiden Williams
Deleting all generals blindly could be a mistake. I don't see any reason to delete ones like Macross Delta and Re:Zero until the shows are over. I believe this should be the criteria to delete a general.
>If the anime or major (as in not a small spinoff) manga is over, the general is to be deleted. >If it is particularly circlejerky (i.e. JoJo or MonMusu), it is to be deleted and only allowed to be made in non-consecutive threads when an episode or chapter is released. >Buyfag, DJT, and Drawfag should remain.
Whatever we agree on should be put into the official Cred Forums rule list on the rules page. There have been mods who said things similar to this in the past but it was only enforced for a week or two. It needs to be made consistent for years at a time.
Ethan Thompson
>I like Cred Forums, I just want more people to use the report feature and take things easier. Mods not needed. You know that all reports do is summon mods right
Daniel Jones
Ban those too. We can ban both.
Brandon Reed
This.
Brody Smith
>>Buyfag, DJT, and Drawfag should remain. Opinion discarded.

>You will not post any of the following outside of Cred Forums: Trolls, flames, racism, >racism Maybe we could start enforcing rule number 3
Alexander Turner
>drawfag circlejerks not removed DJT is just there so I don't care, but buyfags threads are stupid.
Brandon Davis
>what to change about Cred Forums Allowing these threads is a good start.
1. Be consistent in the range of topics allowed across different boards. Cred Forums is way too strict. We don't need to ban any more threads. We need to be more permissive.
On Cred Forums, you can barely have a thread not directly related to A SPECIFIC anime or manga. There is no discussing anime or manga in general, or hardly any aspects of anime or manga culture that mods will allow here. Buyfag threads are just barely allowed, and mods regularly delete 100+ "off-topic" posts per thread and issue bans for what they deem low quality posts. We are not allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about our anime-watching TV set ups. We are now allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about our anime and manga collections. We are not allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about anime-related foods or other everyday items. If you post a non-anime reaction image, you can actually get banned here (ex: ).
By contrast, on /k/, for example, you can have a huge range of crossover topics, like "battle pets," "battle food," "battle workout," "battle music," "anime and weapons," "do you carry a gun while sitting on the toilet," "post your weapon collections," and so on. Also, you can make any number of "recommendation" threads, asking what gun you should buy next. I don't regularly post on too many other boards, but I assume that the range of allowed topics is just as inconsistent elsewhere.
Also, this: . There isn't any new original content or Cred Forums-related memes produced here because mods have been instructed to be too restrictive on the range of allowed topics for years.
2. Short bans are abused way too much on this site in general and the fact that there is no appeal process for short bans is frustrating, especially when the ban was issued speciously. Also, mods should be instructed to actually take appeals for longer bans more seriously. In my experience, they deny all appeals, no explanation.
Fuck you.
Landon Martinez
Her gehs would be deafening
Connor Bennett
Accurate opinions. Show is airing currently? Have a thread about it. Show isn't airing? Have a thread about it every so often.
New content generates discussion. When there is no new content, all that is generated is shitposting.
Brandon Allen
Yes, and? The "mods not needed" part is more, we don't need more, we don't need them to behave differently, or have some set of rules to follow other than written rules and board culture. Otherwise I'd be accused of saying "Cred Forums doesn't need mods" which is not the case of course.
Jackson Richardson
All right, let's get a working template going.
- Generals for currently airing anime are allowed, with conditions. - Generals for manga (regardless of release frequency), non-airing anime, franchises (i.e. KanColle) or any other content are NOT allowed.
- Regular threads concerning topics of questionable relevance (i.e. VAs, directors, waifu worship) will have to go through probation (overseen by a rotating crew of mods) and/or be subjected to ""vote"", with Hiroyuki having final say. - Addendum to the previous clause: posters in a banned thread (ex. VA thread gets relegated to /jp/) may collectively draft an appeal and send it to Hiroyuki, who will consult with the mods and revise/uphold the banishment. If the posters fail to come together on the appeal and agree on why their thread belongs on Cred Forums, that's their fault.
- Hiroyuki expands his accessibility beyond Twitter, similar to how moot had an email. Spammers or people with nothing meaningful to say will be blocked at his discretion. moot stopped acting on the emails after a while, but Hiroyuki is at least ostensibly willing to hear the poster's input. - After the changes are made, meta threads will be once again banned and not reinstated until Hiroyuki sees fit.
- Alternatively, the Cred Forums community demands in no uncertain terms that the current moderation team be entirely replaced, or at least undergo a reshuffling of assignments. If there is one thing most of the posters agree on, within and across their respective boards, it is that the current moderation is inherently flawed. Screencaps will be emailed to Hiroyuki and accounts detailed, if need be.
- Certain words and phrases could be added to the word filter, such as "cuck", "kys", "newfag here", etc. - Visible sage (?)
Feel free to change, suggest, add anything.
Brody Roberts
Maybe you could be less of a thin-skinned idiot and grow the fuck up? I have to get lectured about my supposed "white privilege" all day by my professors at college. The least you could do is learn to deal with a meaningless racial epithet or two from someone you'll never meet in real life.
Jordan Adams
>my memes >my off topic shit holy shit fuck off
James Perez
Oh my god fuck off. You are everything that is wrong with this board.
Caleb Reyes
So how would this "ban generals" thing even work? Once a thread for a certain series dies, no new threads for that series is allowed for an arbitrary amount of time unless new content is out? How do you decide "ok you've discussed this new content long enough, back to waiting a while before new threads"
Zachary Hughes
>If you post a non-anime reaction image, you can actually get banned here I see no problem with this
Dylan Torres
We need to make clear to Hiro that the only thing this board need now is a nazi babysitter that nukes and shit without appealing to idiots,
laughing whores.jiff
Cooper Campbell
You're a few days late, fucking retard
Nicholas Mitchell
>Buyfag, DJT, and Drawfag should remain. They're all circlejerks get rid of them.
Aaron Barnes
Rule 3 is literally the "I want to delete something that has upset me" for Mods rule.
Since they can argue that anything can be "trolling, flaming, or racist" in their mind.
Also fuck off, if the mods won't fucking clean up all the shitposters who make empty worthless posts and spam the board with their generals, then they shouldn't decide to choose what words we can use or not use.
Thomas Harris
I disagree about manga. If the manga is weekly, generals are fine.
The problem is generals that exist when new content isn't being generated.
It's really fucking simple and I'm going to keep saying it. A general with new content generates discussion. A general with no new content generates shitposting.
Thomas Davis
3. Allow OP's to bump their thread, at least once or twice. We don't need to have OP's keeping their threads alive after they've been given a fair chance, but it's extremely frustrating when you start a perfectly good thread, but nobody sees it and it just falls off the board before people even get a chance to read it.
Angel Wood
Cred Forums as a whole is a circlejerk. stop being a faggot
Josiah White
I know you work hard for your (You)s so here, take it friend, it's yours
Benjamin Bennett
>- Visible sage (?) For what purpose. It's not my problem that people are too fucking retarded to use it.
Gabriel Cox
Make frogposting a permaban
Jordan Myers
Seconded. 3DPD can fuck off.
Christopher Rodriguez
If a thread isn't being posted in by anyone else, it's not a good thread. Fuck off.
Aaron Sanders
>The best way of going about this is moderation on the generals' side until they stop being cancer
The problem is no amount of moderation can remove all the cancer from the generals. If that were the case, then the generals would cease to exist. Users can still make posts about anime and manga that they like, but they don't need to post about it to the same other users 24/7. There are other places on the internet to do that and there is plenty of other anime and manga related discussion to be had on Cred Forums that isn't the same 5 posts spammed in the same thread for the same series day after day.
Eli Rivera
>We are not allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about our anime-watching TV set ups. We are now allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about our anime and manga collections. We are not allowed to have threads on Cred Forums about anime-related foods or other everyday items. >Allowing E-peen shit No.
>"battle pets," "battle food," "battle workout," "battle music," "anime and weapons," Might work for the first time, it'll become reposting the same thing on every thread after a while (See 3x3 circlejerk)
>"recommendation" No, just no, >>/wsr/
>We need to be more permissive. How long have you been here?
>If you post a non-anime reaction image, you can actually get banned here. What's the problem?
Jack Cook
>A general with new content generates discussion. A general with no new content generates shitposting. Generals for the Big 3 were/are terrible. One Piece especially.
Jace Hall
Cred Forums in general is shit. Too mainstream. Not trying to be a hipster but we got way too many underage faggots here and its getting really annoying.
Michael Moore
Not an argument. Address what I said, not what other anime forums have taught you to think. It's painfully obvious who has arrived to Cred Forums after 2010.
Noah Howard
They still had content.
Julian Perry
Invisible sage means newfags literally don't know the function exists. It'd be to everyone's benefit to have it more widely known.
Dylan Sanders
Make /ai/ and precure thread the same.
Make Generals allowed.
Christopher Sanders
Make the anime industry make better anime again
Barring that, remove the anti loli and shota rules and bring back the two mods who actually knew what Cred Forums should be, make mods per-board instead of global since they clearly have different ideas on what the rules are, remove the general "offending content" bullshit rules and make each rule a specific and unique infraction rather than some scattershot bullshit anything fits under. Increase the post cooldown timer within threads and decrease it cross-thread to encourage more diverse posting and less spam and arguments, decrease the image cooldown timer to let people dump manga more easily. Change the bump behavior to what it actually supposed to be rather than the default futaba bump=top of thread but seeded by viewing IPs and number of posts per hour.
Isaac Morris
Kill yourself newfag
Christopher Price
Nope, and if you think that, then you are a newfag.
I have many times posted a thread to have it archived with no posts, only to post the same thread again an hour later to see the thread get 300 posts.
Ayden Nelson
Actually it's the opposite. Off-topic posting has ALWAYS been banned. Request threads have ALWAYS been banned. If you weren't such a monumental reddit newfag you would know this.
I bet you have no fucking clue what WAHA is.
Leo Davis
They are all important for one reason or another. DJT teaches translators, Buyfag is important if you don't want random figure release threads to pop up, and you probably saved some OC that originated out of a Drawfag thread and don't even know it. But go ahead and reply to me with memes again.
Eli Thomas
>- Generals for currently airing anime are allowed, with conditions. No, why thy fuck are yo idiots so attached for this shit? the only thing you are doing by allowing a continuous series of threads is enabling the fanbase to drown on it's own vomit
24min of animation should not translated into 2K+ posts under any circumstances
FUCK YOU
Nathan Anderson
I don't care normally but I have noticed that almost every single post with a western cartoon reaction image, specifically Simpsons or Spongebob is attached to some horrible unforgivable shitpost.
Kayden Lee
For the release day atleast, then it gets as shitty as a shounenshit general (See DBZ)
Aaron Mitchell
>fuck off xDDD >kill yourself xDDD
remember when edgy teens weren't the majority?
Robert Robinson
Have two back-to-back threads about something allowed, then 24 hours between threads until a new episode/chapter comes out.
Hunter Wood
>remove anti loli lol good luck faggot, never happening
Dominic Fisher
Why do you want to tell people what kinds of threads they are allowed to post? If the thread isn't Cred Forums-related or interesting, then it will 404 naturally.
Carson Cooper
Ban posters like this
Jeremiah Wood
Can we ban idols from Japan?
Or better yet force the Japanese government to make buying 1 volume of bluray/dvd (BDs for men, DVDs for women) mandatory for anything that isn't idolshit. Like if you don't do it you get government fined disc price times 100 per disc not bought.
David Jenkins
That's how boards work. Letting an OP bump threads would encourage retarded fucks to keep making threads about stupid shit no one wants to talk about.
Nolan Brooks
>Generals for currently airing anime are allowed, with conditions. These are the only generals that should be allowed.
>Alternatively, the Cred Forums community demands in no uncertain terms that the current moderation team be entirely replaced FUCKING THIS
Nothing can change without this first step.
Caleb Butler
Kill yourself
Jackson Carter
Some generals do have content, then. KanColle and GuP (/ak/) get new translations often. I guess this could be one of those cases where a general thread's population could appeal.
Containment?
Isaac Evans
DJT is the only passable one. Buyfag threads are for retards who should learn to buy and drawthreads are cancer that ruins spontaneous creativity.
Tyler Russell
>If the thread isn't Cred Forums-related or interesting, then it will 404 naturally.
No it fucking won't. If you allow retarded people to post, other retards will think it's okay, and then you get flooded with shit.
KanColle is a fucking video game, it shouldn't even be on this board to begin with. Regardless, have ONE thread when a new chapter or whatever is translated, and then fucking no more.
Ryan Nelson
"Containment" is a totally flawed concept. All that containing a fanbase does is ferment exactly the kind of environment that encourages the type of shitty behavior generals have.
Isaac Martinez
Kumiko poster is right. Mods can't even make a hotpocket properly.
Austin Hill
No, that's not true. I can tell you that Cred Forums has changed significantly in the 9 years I've been here. A lot less kinds of threads are allowed now than we had originally.
>That's how boards work Ok, newfag. It's how the board works today. It hasn't worked that way for the majority of Cred Forums's history. It doesn't necessarily even work that way on every board on Cred Forums at present.
Nathaniel Ross
Whatever mod has been here has been protecting loli threads recently, it just needs to be codified, and this is hiroyuki we're talking about, the man made loli and junior idol boards on 2ch.
Jose Phillips
Delete generals. Ban OP. sage
Colton Walker
literally worse than frogposters
Luke Long
>DJT teaches translators Is this a joke?
>Buyfag is important if you don't want random figure release threads to pop up /toy/ would be a much better place.
>and you probably saved some OC that originated out of a Drawfag thread and don't even know it Only if they're reaction images. I save everything else off danbooru or pixiv.
Ethan Diaz
Guys does Cred Forums really have any major problems? I mean aside from the occasional flavor of the month shows getting 10+ threads when everyone's watching them and the occasional shitpost thread is Cred Forums really in need of change?
I mean I guess mods could help enforce shitposting but honestly I think Cred Forums is alright right now
Joshua King
>monogatari general Excuse me? I see threads every now and then but no "Monogatari #198429119920173910" threads up at all times like I see the SnK threads up 24/7. There's more on here that aren't really generals but I see what you're getting at
Daniel Rogers
I thought like you until a few week ago, when an active thread that went on break for a moment died after 20 minutes of not being bumped, the board is now so fucking fast thanks to those shitposters newfags that the only threads that have a fair chance of surviving are generals and meme threads with 15 replies made in them every minute
Levi Martinez
How about not trying to fix what isn't broken?
I fucking hate this place.
Juan Thomas
Kill yourself, holy fucking shit.
Colton Flores
Cred Forums can't be fixed. Moot allowed Naruto on Cred Forums and it's been a downhill spiral since then. The only way to save Cred Forums would be to delete it completely.
Ryder Perez
We'd be getting into the possibility that some of these trashy ideas become a daily thing, partly because of what said, I'm pretty sure most of us wouldn't want to see the same thread with the same images every day, most of them just being repost/imagedump shit.
Henry Turner
I demand mandatory weekly trap threads
I demand weekly shota threads
I demand weekly loli threads
Make it happen
Brandon Johnson
How about shows based on VNs and vidya off of Cred Forums? They seem to contribute to the mass influx of casuals the board gets.
Charles Scott
The reason my post gets so many replies is because I make good arguments. The reason your post will only get this one reply is because you are an ignoramus.
>Cred Forums is fine >Cred Forums sucks, i hate it Dude, weed. LMAO
Gavin Morris
Just ban Naruto again, and this time ban other things like well, like One Piece, Bleach, Jojo etc. Done.
Sebastian Nguyen
What is WAHA?
I'm a scanlator. I regularly make new threads to post chapters. Often times I post an entire 20 page chapter before ANYONE ELSE has posted, and my post gets to page 7. But shockingly, SHOCKINGLY, someone posts.
If your thread has value, people will find it. That's what the fucking catalog is for. Page numbers are meaningless.
Jason Sullivan
We just need more fucking mods or even janitors.
I'm tired of seeing low-effort circlejerking content. It's fun once in a while for something new, but general threads are the biggest cancer.
They can go to reddit for that level of discussion.
Ayden Anderson
Just have a weekly limit on the number of threads. I say three a week for currently airing anime, two a week for weekly manga and one per week for anything else.
Leo Cook
merge of /jp/ and Cred Forums
Asher Morales
Unban the Rei tripcode.
James Miller
>Guys does Cred Forums really have any major problems? I went looking for a feet thread today and there wasn't one.
Camden Green
>Containment? What for? that shit never worked, just ban every idiot that can't be arsed to lurk.
Brandon Collins
>"Containment" is a totally flawed concept. All that containing a fanbase does is ferment exactly the kind of environment that encourages the type of shitty behavior generals have. I think Cred Forums, /jp/ and /mlp/ have worked fairly well as containment boards. This would be a minimized version. And if there are fans of Anime X that don't want to post in the general, they could always make a new thread. Allowing generals != only allowing one thread per show.
Logan Gray
You already get 2 out of 3 of those things more often than weekly. Seconding more shota pls
Kayden Foster
OPs can bump their thread, you retarded newfag. Just not in the first fifteen minutes or whatever it is. A thread cannot fall off the board in 15 minutes.
Easton Cooper
...
Jose Cook
We need more posts and interaction from hiro.. and we also need a portal to 2chan to crossthread Cred Forums and 2chan
Christian Gomez
>three a week for currently airing anime That would be far too few for a lot of even moderately popular shows. It depends heavily on the number of posters.
Levi Johnson
If it links to a previous thread, ban it. If it has the word general in it, ban it. If it has a templated first post, ban it. If less than X hours have gone by since the last thread hit the bump limit, or it gets created while an existing thread exists as a 'new thread', ban it.
If it doesn't have any new content, ban it.
Blake Gonzalez
Cancer, like you.
Jaxson King
I had this problem awhile back. Months ago. There wasn't much wrong here, was it?
Evan Ortiz
>/jp/ Not really, we have VN, LN, and mobage threads on Cred Forums constantly.
Luke Moore
Hiro is once again butting in on this where he's not fucking needed like he did when he first purchased the site.
Fuck off and leave what little identity the boards have to their own devices.
Daniel Butler
Go to Cred Forums for that faggot
Elijah Powell
It's just like 10 attentionwhores samefagging about how generals are ruining Cred Forums. it's not that big of a deal really.
Isaiah Turner
>He thinks WAHA is cancer
Yep, you're a newfag. Promptly kill yourself.
Brandon Lopez
It's 30 minutes, which is enough time to fall off Cred Forums during peak hours.
Dylan Sullivan
>2chan Not his website, never was.
>waha The person or the shitty erogame character? The person was a great man who made unar and kareha, which we should use to bring back the textboards.
Jeremiah Ramirez
What would be a better number? Four? Five? Six seems like too many.
Jack Morris
Ban most (if not all) generals and all ecelebs. Fetish threads can go too.
>decrease the image cooldown timer to let people dump manga more easily This would be nice.
I agree but I think DJT at least has some utility value when it's not circlejerking about Anki. Buyfag threads are mostly about showing off figs and Drawfag threads are circlejerks. Aren't there like two or three regular Drawfag threads anyway?
Austin Lewis
People who don't know WAHA should be banned
Easton Mitchell
You say that and yet people still used it incorrectly all the time.
>DJT teaches translators Why does it need a thread? Put the info in a pastebin or image and be done with it.
>Buyfag is important if you don't want random figure release threads to pop up We have a whole fucking BOARD for this kind of content go use it. >and you probably saved some OC that originated out of a Drawfag thread and don't even know it I don't give a fuck if it's OC it's a circlejerking group of retards who want to have their own little chatroom. This is a flimsy excuse for attention whores to have their own little subforum get that shit out of here. And again we have boards for this
Zachary Phillips
yep, ban the yaoi porn posting from the arc-v thread.
Kayden Lee
>I make good arguments You're not exactly posting well funded arguments, that's why you're getting so many (You)s. I don't want to sound prepotent, but honestly your take on what is allowed and what is not reeks of someone who doesn't browse Cred Forums constantly.
Dominic Rogers
>>He thinks WAHA is cancer > >Yep, you're a newfag. Promptly kill yourself. It's like I'm really back in 2011.
Kevin Moore
The secret club mentality really did a number on this board
Gabriel Ross
this
Christopher Campbell
Just make all threads autosage by default and be bumpable only by typing "age" in the options field. Done.
Xavier Evans
VN and LN I can understand because a) people hardly post in the former, b) only discuss anime adaptations of the latter (ironically, the SAO LN threads are the only decent threads where you can productively discuss anything SAO-related) and c) no one talks about those on /jp/. Mobage has to go and stay go.
Parker Gonzalez
>The person or the shitty erogame character?
Newfag leave.
Waha is fucking older than 2011 you stupid newfag.
Brandon Baker
Make a LEWD image tag to compliment the spoiler image Tag, That way we can post nsfw pics and that way people at work will know not to click it
Sebastian Butler
So, what are the points we most agreed on?
Gabriel Green
Proportional to the average numbers of IPs per thread.
Austin Rivera
Retard alert
Thomas Morales
Random section of the Monster Musume thread.
Where is the value in any of these posts? Where is the good discussion? If you can't explain it, delete it.
Robert Collins
> Fucking crossboarders.
John Johnson
Hang yourself please.
Aiden Miller
Yeah, why can't we be like Cred Forums. Look at how well they turned out without one.
Idiot.
Carson Jenkins
There's nothing wrong with it.
Carson Cruz
>DJT teaches translators That doesn't mean it goes on Cred Forums, faggot. If anyone tried to start a general about encoding, it'd be shut down and punted to Cred Forums, and DJT should be punted to /jp/.
> Buyfag is important if you don't want random figure release threads to pop up You fucking delete them, the end.
> you probably saved some OC that originated out of a Drawfag thread and don't even know it How is that relevant at all?
Mason Williams
Go burn yourself with fire.
Ryder Peterson
I didn't say it was fine. But all this is going to do is make it worse. Do you remember /q/? If you do then you should know why nothing good will come of this.
Generals are a problem but they aren't the source. The reason they exist is because the bumplimit was increased years ago and right when /q/ died Moot increased the post cooldowns too. Which led to more generals, which led to more sub-communities on the board.
Ryan Long
Generals must die. Normalfag twitter meme shit must die.
John Long
no
Isaiah Jenkins
WHY IS Cred Forums SFW WHEN NO ONE HAS A JOB?
Lincoln Mitchell
Fucking nothing.
Alexander Peterson
> I just want the fucking cancer that is Monster Musume General gone Just ignore it

Bring back /lang/ and ban DJT

Three per week for every show and an extra one per every 100 IPs?

That snek pic is cute and I will now go and save it. The value is in sharing the image on an image board
Dominic Perry
Drink bleach, redditor scum.
Xavier Hall
What do you all think of the scanlation thread? I think it's fairly productive. Once in a while there's a retard sperging in it but otherwise it's not terrible compared to the drawfag threads
Thomas Sanders
I am in a room with a bunch of other people. There's a group in the corner that is shitting, smearing the feces all over themselves, and laughing like retards. You want me to ignore that?
It's been posted every fucking thread. EVERY. FUCKING. THREAD.
Ryder Turner
It's still shitposting even if it's ironic fucking newfag
Jack Butler
...
Bentley Foster
Well, you can't have voiced anime without voice actors that breath life into these character?
Seems like plenty enough of a reason to me.
Landon Price
Delete everything.
Isaiah Thomas
>well funded arguments Oh, they have to make money now? Well in that case, you're right. I have no funding for my arguments.
My argument in is rational, though, and connects directly to what's wrong with the board. What's not to understand? There is a problem with different boards allowing different ranges of topics. I gave clear examples supporting my thesis. If you don't understand, you should ask for clarification, not tell me to kill myself, which is what people say when they have no argument.
>I don't want to sound prepotent, but honestly your take on what is allowed and what is not reeks of someone who doesn't browse Cred Forums constantly. Where did you learn "prepotent," 12th grade English class? My opinion is informed by the full experience of someone who has actively posted and read Cred Forums for 9 years. But you're the "prepotent" one, huh.
Austin Wood
He should lurk more No need to be ironic user, why don't you try contributing to the thread instead?
Ethan Ortiz
I guess this thread is fucking pointless then.
Jose King
>b) only discuss anime adaptations of the latter Not true at all. There are whole threads full of discussion of various unadapted series, every day or two.
Mason Howard
Remember these words of wisdom people.
Eli Russell
Shota and loli are for hugs, not fugs.
James Jones
You're what's wrong with Cred Forums.
Kevin Morris
Izza a gud pic moight

It's kinda like /jp/
Nolan Martin
Got to /c/ for image dumps faggot

It is. It's just here so mods can laugh at us.

The fact that you can google it just makes it even worse if he doesn't know it, though.
Jaxson Foster
grammer nazism is my least fav meme tho
Christian Reed
Allow Light Novels.
Wyatt Hernandez
>There are whole threads full of discussion of various unadapted series Like what? Most people don't even read the LNs and just go off of what they read in the threads.
Thomas Stewart
Fuck off.
Samuel Perry
Please, we all know they care even less than Hiro.
Levi Powell
Are you kidding me? /q/ gave us /out/ and a few other boards. That's a good thing. The only reason moot hated /q/ is because he was an immature college student who didn't want to take Cred Forums as seriously as many people here take it.
>Waha is fucking older than 2011 you stupid newfag. But you are not.
Bentley Williams
The thing I see the most agreement on is that the mods fucking suck and generals should be banned. How banned they should be is the only point of contention.
Andrew Ramirez
THEY DO IT FOR FREEE
Camden Powell

I think you missed your /r9k/ tab

HIRO YOU BETTER PUT A BOT THAT SPAMS SHIT IF THE THREAD GETS TOO FUCKING FAST YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT.
Hunter Kelly
Exactly, I have nothing against DJT or buyfag etc but come on.
They should be moved to /jp/ for sure.
Ayden Ramirez
>the mods fucking suck Everyone agrees on this and I think step 1 of accomplishing anything at all would be to tell Hiroyuki: REPLACE THE MODS
Chase Nelson
Fuck off, don't try to fix what already fix.
Eli Fisher
Well, enjoy your Cred Forums with 20+ posts of the same shit then
Luis Campbell
Make a banner for /qa/ like the Cred Forums one: >only retards and baka gaijins would think anything posted in here is legit.

Carter Lewis
Fuck off with your "meme" meme, go be "ironic" somewhere else.
Chase Sanchez
I fucked up, meant to say established, forgive my ESL. See
Oliver Peterson
Bring back the textboards Bring back /z/ Bring back /fk/ Bring back /5/ Bring back Cred Forums - Guro Bring back /l/ Bring back /lt/
Allow Cred Forums to talk about and post H-manga and H-OVA/series even loli/shota without being banned.
Nathaniel Allen
I don't know man, besides some nitpicks everything seems fine here. Maybe, have you thought about being more open to create oc memes, or is that concept for gone into the past?
Nolan Kelly
Generals are abusing the rule that as long as OP has a post related to their show, they're free to talk about whatever they wish.
Also, it's obvious some anons are autistic and camp their thread 24/7 to bump and ensure their thread remains on the catalog. There has to be a way to migrate this.
Chase Diaz
He said we COULD have a thread, not that we HAVE to have one.
Sage
Anthony Murphy
Anyone who demands any change on this board by implementing further rules rather than just asking mods to better enforce what already exists is a cancerous newfag. Fuck off
Sebastian Allen
So you don't remember the tons of crossboarders who complained about Cred Forums not "accepting them"?
Adrian Howard
>posting non-anime reaction image
GET OUT
Nolan Cruz
>REE! Ban this guy, please.
Gabriel Jones
>cancerous tripfag >/l/ >the rest not surprised
Ayden Bell
>just asking mods to better enforce what already exists The problem is that they don't and won't. Funny how the only thing people can agree on so far is that the mods are garbage. Though replacing them probably won't help much.
Matthew Evans
>like what Threads like that.
Jack Allen
>There has to be a way to migrate this. One IP can't bump a thread more than once? Or within a certain time period? Really doubt it'd work. The more you try to stop Cred Forums users from doing something the more they'll organize to do it because fuck you that's why.
Alexander Powell
Allow to bump a thread with only your first five posts on it?
Joshua Diaz
There is supposed to be, at some point we stopped using the Cred Forums thread health algorithm (IPs watching, activity per IP) and went back to the 2ch one The 2ch algortihm does not work with our userset.
Adam Cook
Fucking newfags.
Nathan Bennett
Did you miss the shitfest of non-Cred Forums posters trying to change Cred Forums?
Nathan Peterson
>people seriously whining about image dumping >on an image board
One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the sheer level of retarded people that always pervades this site.
I've been around Cred Forums since the Geass days and there were shitty generals even back then. For anyone to imply that generals are a newer phenomenon are flat out fucking liars. As long as people are contained to 1 thread I don't give a shit what they do.
Learn to use the tools available to you and HIDE THREADS.
Robert Cooper
Don't touch anything maybe just better moderation.
It's impossible to reach a consensus here,anyway
Michael Howard
Hence why the post entirely fucking asked for enforcement of current rules. If it means removing shit mods or giving jannies the ability to delete shit then so be it.
Tyler Williams
I was banned dozens of times for Rule #6 violations around that era, but the mods have stopped issuing those kinds of bans, so why make an issue of it now?
Evan Brown
how do you even plan on enforcing a ban on generals? people will just say "what is Cred Forums's opinion on monster musume?" when they see theres no mm thread up and the it becomes the general. so you're really just asking to ban anime you don't like. Cred Forumsutists really are unintelligent
Connor Myers
>Cred Forumsutists argue by posting screencaps of other people's opinions
Alexander Jackson
/ag/
It wouldn't be a good board but it would theoretically fix the problem via simple migration.

Image dump on the image dump boards. That's why they're there you fucktard.
Kevin Myers
How do you determine which threads are generals? If there's a thread perpetually up for a show that isn't airing that gets remade every time the last one is on page 10 that's obvious, but what if a currently-airing show is popular and hyped enough that a lot of people really want to keep discussing it all week, and there isn't enough time for it to devolve into shitposting? Would only long-running and persistent generals for shows that aren't currently airing be banned? And are generals really even that much of a problem? Sure the threads might not be quality, but you can just not visit those threads, obviously a lot of people enjoy the community aspect of them.
Jaxon Reed
I want that back. Not the newfag idiots, the mod.
Owen Rivera

Are you seriously trying to defend /q/?
>killed sage >killed our ability to delete our own threads >increased the post cooldown >was rocket fuel for shitposting >caused so much shitposting that a mod got doxxed and then moot took it out on Cred Forums by made us all fucking naruto and sasuke for a week
Are you fucking serious user?
Adrian Myers
Do you think that just because some very vocal people say "I want to change this board," that the admin has to listen to them? Serious question. Because if so and you think that's why /q/ went away, then you must be totally unaware of /qa/.

Hunter Thomas

Good point. I should save this post as an example of what should be bannable.
Michael Butler
>>people seriously whining about image dumping >>on an image board I second this. Image dumps have ALWAYS been a part of Cred Forums.
Camden Evans
/jp/ doesn't want DJT. Merge it with the Cred Forums thread. Buyfag goes on /toy/.
Evan Roberts
Ban everything I don't like.
Jace Kelly
This is the only good post on this entire thread. You fuckers are going to argue to hell and back about the same shit every thread and end up not reaching a consensus, so you might as well not try and just keep doing what you believe is quality posting.
Jayden Gonzalez
Fuck off generalshitter.

Cred Forums is actually one of the better boards on Cred Forums, relatively speaking. The only problems are 24/7 generals, but even then it's not that big of a problem that something needs to be done about it.
One thing we don't need on Cred Forums is meta threads. So kindly fuck off, Cred Forums is fine.
Andrew Rodriguez
Find me a forum that is anonymous like Cred Forums and has an active userbase.
Jack Gomez
this
Jayden Clark
There's plenty of shit I don't like that isn't generals. Turns out they only take up one thread, not hundreds.
Jaxson Miller
It's legitimately the only way to solve the problem. Trying to ban or remove generals will just cause people to try to find loopholes or ways around it. You have to move them, deleting them won't work.
Samuel Cox
Thirding.
Kayden Nguyen
Wouldn't work. Look at /qst/. It's dead and every noteworthy quest remains on /tg/.
Hudson Morales
Says the sperglord who would rather whine than use the tools given to him by the site. Do you want Hiro to wipe your ass when you take a dump too?
Nicholas Carter
Isn't /cm/ supposed to be the fujo board?
Michael Kelly
/c/ gets no traffic and still has old image limits. I have tried posting threads there and got ZERO other posts in the time I maxed the image limit singlehandedly. Not even a comment.
Nobody really contributes to SFW threads on /e/ or /h/ aside from the OP and maybe one or two other people posting a couple images. Cred Forums is the best place for SFW image dumps.
Hunter Harris
webm with sound, also this I want those fags out of Cred Forums. Also merge Cred Forums with /u/, that would be the perfect board.
Alexander Butler

Liam Ward
>Trying to ban or remove generals will just cause people to try to find loopholes or ways around it. Then you ban them when they do. Mods can see when people are secretly making a general. They're not an algorithm.
Camden Williams
Here's a list of things that could, at minimum, be global 6'ed. Arguably some if not all of this can qualify as bannable for global 3. Some of this shit has had an uptick in recent years, and has permanently ruined many threads on shows past and present:
>derailing threads for studio wars >derailing threads for het vs yuri arguments >derailing threads for shipping faggotry >derailing threads for bogeymen fan types >derailing threads for yaoi/yuri, hetfag vs yurifag bickering derailing shows not super-clearly tilted one way or the other
It's fine to talk about why you don't like a series for actual, obvious reasons. Ruining threads for everyone by going out of your way to lay bait for strangers not matching your own personal tastes/preferences for how a show could have been, and then making the thread about that (for example het vs yuri bitching) rather than tangible facts in the show, is just trolling/flaming. It's digging for bait and ignoring needing to actually talk about the show. Period. People can potentially hijack any show's threads either from being a big fuckin' baby, or just knowing that because these specific things aren't restricted, that they are easy detours used to get away with your le ebin shitposting sprees.
For example if you disagree on who a best girl is because of anything actually in the material, that's fine. If you disagree on who a best girl is because someone else doesn't agree with your personal fanon wishes, and then you must argue nonstop with that person to the detriment of the thread, then you should taste justice from the mods as as you're fucking up threads over shit you're literally making up, rather than facts. Currently, anyone can design some imaginary contrivance and exploit it to piss off people who are more grounded in the show. This doesn't always happen, but when it does it really, really fucking sucks for everyone who just wanted to talk about the fuckin' show and not watch drama queens bickering over nothing.
Carter Lee
As long as you teach him how to use a hammer to do it, you gigantic faggot.
Easton Turner
Please give us an /l/ where we can post lewd loli images. Trying to make /l/ threads work on Cred Forums is like being marooned on a desert island. Threads are regularly spammed with spiderman or gore. Half the people posting either don't know what danbooru is or believe that their western art or 3DCG shit counts as lolicon.
Nathaniel Butler
That's /y/. /cm/ is just for fags.
Camden Rivera
If any group should be purged from Cred Forums it's yurifags.
Cooper Green
That isn't our problem, its yours.
Ryder Martinez
here let me translate your post >Don't delete me and my MAL buddies shitty threads!
Xavier Diaz
>Not how it works.
If thats not how Hiroyuki wanted it to work, he'd change the image limit then wouldn't he?
Isaac Brooks
Yeah this. LNs should stay on Cred Forums but only if there's something new to discuss or an update/news.
Same with anime and manga past their glory. If there's nothing to discuss or the fanbase is too small the thread will die in infancy, problem solved.
Ban all "left or right" "which wud u fug?" threads on sight.
Jacob Clark
>>killed sage It's still there. >>killed our ability to delete our own threads Not on all boards. But yes, this sucks. >>increased the post cooldown Was only a matter of time. >>was rocket fuel for shitposting You can say that about any board. >>caused so much shitposting that a mod got doxxed and then moot took it out on Cred Forums by made us all fucking naruto and sasuke for a week Mods need to be held accountable when they act out of line.

Just don't make the mods follow some autistic letter-of-the-law shit, and they'll be able to deal with it on their own. > You have to move them, deleting them won't work. Moving doesn't fucking work any more than deleting. Why do you think we still get fags who refuse to use /wsr/? Hell, moot talked about this in his farewell speech - shitters want to discuss things around their own water cooler, even if they're not fully related, rather than go to some other department to discuss them. Deleting threads on one board and telling them to go to another doesn't make the job any easier than just deleting the threads and ending it there.
Zachary Thompson

Connor Hall
>wanting to purge /u/fags >post a lesbian
Anthony Perez
I think he wants an Cred Forums for fujo shows. /cm/ is for imagedumping, not discussion. But it just boils down to "ban the things I don't like." I highly doubt there's anyone here who likes every show that has a thread right now, so that proposal is stupid as hell.
Julian Jones
People have been doing that here for 5 or 6 years, though.
>ban topics that I don't like How about no.
Parker Flores
It's a year too fucking late most good Cred Forumsnons left so what's the point of taking suggestions from newfags and crossboarders?
Lincoln Young
>merging Cred Forums with del/u/sional faggot Fuck off
Blake Peterson
Or Hiropyon could just lift the loli porn rule for 2D nsfw boards.
Jack Garcia
Bring back the ability to delete your own thread. Bring back the ability to report posts as commercial spam to help remove Crunchyroll shills. Remove the mod that keeps deleting on-topic threads like loli and shota. Bring back "Marked for deletion (old)" and make it actually work how you promised all those years ago (health rather than last bumped) Bring back the legacy image post timers for dumping manga. Bring back /anime/ and actually tell people to use it.
Jordan Cook

the only reason vg can exist is because of how many people are on v. ag would be a dead board and the generals would come to a because of it
Elijah Moore

Leo White
It's 10 minutes actually.
Michael Sanchez
Go back to
Ryder Anderson
Don't expect any changes Cred Forums. You used up your lifetime's worth of change when you had moot create /jp/ to get rid of the Touhou shitters.
Blake Howard
Cred Forums is literally the last place on Cred Forums that djt should go. Do you have any idea what Cred Forums is like beyond this board?
Jaxson Baker
Drawfag certainly should be limited to a thread or two per week.
Easton Nguyen
No, no, no. /ag/ would be an escalation of exactly what makes generals bad. Generals cultivate shitty behavior because they're an echo chamber for people who want to socialize and post the same shit over and over, and this is a problem because they're not going to post only in those threads. They're obviously going to keep posting in the rest of Cred Forums.
Now make an entire board full of those threads, and not only are you endorsing the sort of things that happen in them, you're vastly multiplying the amount of it. And of course this wave of generalfags, emboldened by their constant Naruto discussions or whatever, will come back to post in Cred Forums and ask us to recommend cool animes, and use emoticons, and whatever other unsavory behavior they picked up over there.
Matthew Stewart
>what is Cred Forums's opinion on monster musume? Hmm maybe when the same thread gets posted 10 times a day with the same exact wording? It doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure this shit out.
Colton Rogers
>webm with sound No, fuck off this isn't youtube. Webm was meant to replace .gif, not turn this image board into a place to share epic meme videos.
Liam Allen
autoban posters using that """"_____""" shit
Nolan Thomas
And? Only proves everyone is as retarded as you
Daniel Ortiz
Ban idolshit, make it its own board, make a new rule that forbid to discuss idolshit outside of said board, Cred Forums improve in a 99%.
Nicholas Carter
Here's an idea: Permaban any mention of Keit-ai or that copypasta.
DO IT, FAGGOT.
John Peterson
This, this so much.
Otherwise 99% of the time trips get used is to be a cancer loving avatarfag without the avatar. And attention wanking.
Camden Lee
Plus, the fact that Cred Forums moves so fast means that people need to be EXTREMELY proactive in bumping or the thread will 404 immediately. It's the worst possible environment for /l/ threads, and the fact that there are people who regularly keep those threads alive is an indicator that there is enough interest for /l/ to have its own board.
>Or Hiropyon could just lift the loli porn rule for 2D nsfw boards. Or that.
Jackson Bennett
This. FREE THE LOLI!!!
Carson Parker
Only thing I can confidently suggest is to ban any mention of the term 'normies'. Saying that instead of normalfag like the old days is just retarded.
Parker Turner
He's not saying "ban the topics," he's saying "ban using these topics to purposefully turn threads on other topics into shitholes." And I agree with some of those - when someone drops into a thread on a random anime and says "OH HEY WHAT A TERRIBLE STUDIO KYOANI WOULD DO BETTER," that should be dealt with, because it's absolute purposeful cancer.
Jacob Green
>People asking to move generals to /ag/ No, just no, /vg/ has killed many fanbases because of that, want an example? Check out this chatroom: . Or go take a look at Katawa Shoujo >Katawa Shoujo General #3159 >37 IPs
Blake Cook
Gook and chink LNs shouldn't be allowed. Japanese novels should be fine since not only does /jp/ don't want them there, no one wants to go to /jp/ to discuss them either. Currently, since mods are fags, if what you want to discuss isn't big enough to sustain a thread and needs a full LN thread for it, just hijack a Mushoku Tensei thread, it's the usual course of action.
Chase Phillips
Bring back accel spammer and let him administer justice as he sees fit.
Colton King
Do the Re/b/oot again, but with Cred Forums 10-minute post cooldown timers and a focus on original content codified into rule.
Juan Hill

Justin Parker
Too many layers of irony for (((You)))?
Oliver Brown
Nobody likes you.
No, it isn't.
And those threads often get 150+ unique IPs and 500+ posts when they happen on Cred Forums. Don't act like you're some kind of expert just because you know how to snark.
Easton Evans
Spot the DJTfag.
Jackson Clark
Cred Forums is the best place for discussion. Post things on /c/ to get it traffic. This site has far more lurkers than posters. Just because you enjoy some shit no one else cares about responding to doesn't mean you need to shit up Cred Forums with substance-less low quality image spam.
Jace Martin
Aren't loli threads everything people are complaining about in this same thread? Seems ironic.
John Walker
Cred Forums is cancerous for a number of other reasons as well.
Carter Evans
Just because it's impossible to completely purge generals doesn't mean it's pointless. Just expressing as a general policy that they're not welcome will still improve matters and at least make a few people think twice about perpetuating them.
Henry Clark
I think its time for Anime and Manga to be separate boards. All the shitposters with ADD would naturally be drawn to the Anime board and leave the rest of us to discuss manga in peace.
William Roberts
As much as I hate it this could work maybe.
Elijah Barnes
"Fujo show" is pretty subjective too unless it's blatant homo, it wouldn't work.
Christian Fisher
Hint: Cred Forums is literally a socfag board.
Okay, now tell me why a containment thread for /jp/ rejects should go to Cred Forums.
Isaiah Morales
How do you talk so much about Katawa Shoujo
Carson Thompson
Thank you for deleting this thread mods. Good job.
Gabriel Stewart
Bring back SoRu and Shii and make them admins again.
James Flores

Jaxon Ward
The thing is, those people are already around and active. Would you rather they be free to roam around throwing their shit anywhere or have an entire board dedicated to containment?
Gavin Miller
foolproof plan to fix all Cred Forums problems immediately: >acquire list of ip addresses sending requests to reddit, tumblr, and/or facebook >categorically permaban them all
>traffic reduced by 98% lightening the site"s financial burden >the scourge culled, this place will actually be fun again and perhaps attract even more desirables
this said, Cred Forums is actually still pretty great we somehow have this resilience, a tenacity and dedication to having a good time that most other boards lost or never had this thread is pretty unnecessary for Cred Forums

>Please give us an /l/ where we can post lewd loli images. Fuck off Cred Forums, we don't want you on /l/ if it gets created, let it stay on Cred Forums.
Levi Gray
Cred Forums has always been about posting images. There used to be a text only board, /anime/, that was for image-less discussion. The fact that they are now merged doesn't mean that Cred Forums became /anime/. You're a newfag who knows nothing about Cred Forums.
Austin Diaz
the idea of djt on int humors me, since a is the most uptight board and int is full of the most banter

It is.

Ban ESL fags.
Lincoln Collins
Except mods don't actually do shit.
Liam Johnson
More like >ban entry level trolling material only vaguely related to shows
Yes. If you think all you're here to do is shitpost about imagined bogeymen topics of other people watching, or that reaching around the back to dismiss shows for things unrelated to their content is valid at all and such, you're free to leave as shipping wars, hetfag/yurifag wars, studio wars etc are all pure fucking cancer. This board didn't used to so openly have such fallacious garbage all over it. That's not how you pick apart a show or anyone watching it. They're lazy ways to pretend you're talking about something when it's just going out of your way to shittalk people who don't like your fetishes or fanon crap. Unrelated, not an argument etc.
Blake Johnson
>ban general threads
We've tried this before. It didn't work. /ag/ would be required to contain the shitposting.
Jacob Richardson
You have /c/ to do exactly what you want faggot
Use it
Sebastian Martin
Ban any kyoani related discussion, that would fix Cred Forums immediately. Also ban fujos and /u/fags, they already have their containment boards and Also ban the traps threads, that shit belongs to Cred Forums.

Mason Torres
loved how he would demolish lolishitters
Asher Carter
I didn't think about VNs but "Japanese written media" is a good idea to encompass LNs too. /jp/ stopped with anything but untranslated VNs long ago.
Cameron Edwards
You don't. I go there once a month to fetch pics and then leave, it's just "how was your day" bullshit over and over and over and over.
Henry Gutierrez

Anthony Nguyen
>and every noteworthy quest remains on /tg/. I have VERY bad news for you
Landon Gonzalez
Your post already shows why it shouldn't be allowed. It would only lead to some kind of cancerous LN general that would be up 24/7.
Joseph Ward
They haven't talked about Katawa Shoujo at all on the past 2 thousand and 5 hundred threads. Last time I've been there the thread had 50 posts where 40 of them were made by 6 different tripfags.
Nathan Collins
You could ban phoneposting and it would have practically the same effect.
Henry Anderson
You don't, it's a group of tripfags who blog about their lives 24/7 That is what every general essentially is. It's 5 or 6 people who just want to circlejerk all day long.
Nicholas Hernandez
Personally I feel Cred Forums is still decent. You guys don't know garbage until you've browsed /vp/
Caleb Stewart
Just let people have whatever discussion they want to have without acting like an asshole and trying to dictate other people's lives.
Mason Ramirez
Posting images =/= imagedumping. And imagedumping itself isn't even the issue - if you're having a thread about something and want to imagedump some stuff in the middle of the discussion, go ahead. The problem is recurring template threads made solely to imagedump about the same topic over and over (with "I WANT TO FUCK THE GIRL IN THAT IMAGE") occasionally. Those can just go to /c/, that's the whole point.
Eli Wilson
>Those can just go to /c/, that's the whole point. Too bad the /c/ moderation is almost as imperial as the /y/ moderation.
Lucas Edwards
I would love this
Jose Robinson
Bring back /z/ Or just rename /trash/ to /z/, that's what it fucking is but with more furries.
Grayson Edwards
>forced/artificial stay
What is that
Jaxson Miller
Try making a thread on /c/ sometime before preaching at other people about it.
>preferably *According to you.
Thomas Myers
We could at least have them stop being 24/7.
Jordan Lee
No value to be found. All form of "left or right" "what did it mean" or frodo posting should be culled. Speculation and discussion is fine but not this cancer/waifushitting.
Nicholas Perez
You're contradicting yourself here. You're saying that the people who post in generals are just going to keep posting in Cred Forums, but you don't want them to have generals because then it would create generalfags who post differently to the accepted norms on Cred Forums, even though they're already posting on Cred Forums and always will be.
The problem with general threads - or at least what I consider to be the biggest one - is that they attract people who ONLY come to Cred Forums to discuss one piece or snk or danganronpa or jojo or whatever the fuck else, and bring their facebook or tumblr or reddit or whatever else bullshit with them, and don't bother to learn anything about 'board culture'. You just have to be in those threads for any length of time to see just how many people in them are clearly new to Cred Forums. /ag/ genuinely would fix this problem, and even if it did have problems of its own (holy shit it would have so many) they would be /ag/'s, not Cred Forums's.
Gavin Bennett
There would be something for a long while before it ended alive for no reason like a "cancerous general". You'd have to count on people letting the thread die once they have nothing else to discuss, but no one on any thread on Cred Forums ever does that.
Nathaniel Anderson
>Katawa Shoujo General #3159 And they already reset it once
Jose Bell
either make a /l/ for loli board, allow loli on Cred Forums, BAN half your userbase, or continue deleting loli threads that get restarted every time accomplishing nothing
Juan Carter
Bring back subject and email fields for replies.
Ayden Clark
No, that's stupid. People should have the option to post images if they want to.
Kevin James
I'm not actually sure what you mean by "imperial" since I don't go to either of those boards, but I'm going to guess that issue would be better resolved by fixing /c/'s moderation.
Cooper Hall
Reminder you're defending someone who replaced Yotsuba with adds.
Xavier King
You don't understand. The template threads where no one really contributes discussion and people just post images only happen on /c/ and /e/ BECAUSE those boards are so terrible and have such low traffic. By nature of being a higher traffic board with a wide variety of people, image dumps on Cred Forums always work out to be good threads.
Christopher Davis
Please don't. The text boards were kinda fun when they had some activity on them.
Nathaniel Carter
>You guys don't know garbage until you've browsed /vp/ Cred Forums right now is reaching such a levels of shitposting that CP threads don´t get deleted Every board this last month is suffering alot with shitty moderation
Connor Cook
They can. They just can't do it in generals.
Liam Torres
I don't know what word to use, but basically the moderation of that board enforces a board culture instead of letting things that fit in the rules pass as far as they fit the rules.
Easton Brooks
>half the userbase nice meme, last to options sound good, go to the /trash/ if you disagree
Mason Scott
Any action performed by a very small number of people with the sole purpose of prolonging the life of whatever they want to continue
Nathan Hernandez
Cripplechan shilling is still around? I thought they had died.
Camden Barnes
I don't see what's hard to understand about this, the existence of generals creates more generalfags. Generalfags are bad. Making more generals isn't going to stop them from posting in Cred Forums.
Juan Ross
I have. People post images. You think this somehow negates the bad impact your shitty image dumps have on discussion in a given thread?
Carter Brown
I'm not defending him, I'm simply reminding you of your right to choose a different website.
Isaac Ortiz
Cred Forums is only decent because of absurd amounts of elitism and the fact that we're a niche medium and a number of people who actually care about the board, even if we do it differently
Jaxon Gonzalez
Not in general threads, they should be for long term discussion, emphasis on the discussion. Cred Forums should be an imageboard, more focused on the images and individual episodes.
Eli Powell
This is the problem with Cred Forums. You're talking about crippling a thread's discussion needlessly. Same problem I brought up in my original post .
Sebastian Green
>absurd amounts of elitism
Adrian Young
Fuck off to your dead chan and don´t come back
Nathaniel White
THIS Except 8, 9 and 10, ban those faggots
Colton Perry
I said start a thread, not read a thread. Most new threads get zero replies from other people.
Gavin Edwards
Whatever you fucking shill.
Aiden Diaz
Compared to other big boards, definitely.
Levi Morris
Just fuck off already. >inb4 not an argument I'm not arguing, I'm telling you to fuck off.

Luis Walker
Did you actually type this with a straight face user?
Best chuckle of the day so far.
Ayden Gomez
What are your thoughts on being a justified rulefag? For example what should I do if I see a /c/ related thread on Cred Forums? Just let it slip or report so that mods move it over there?
Also what's up with Madoka threads. They're nothing but namefag/tripfag circlejerking. The fact that they still exist to this day makes me thing that it's the mods who are tripfagging these up.
Eli Scott
Change all of Cred Forums to run on shiichan, allow loli S-JIS globally.
Gabriel Thompson
newfag here
Was loli actually allowed to be posted in Cred Forums years before?
Christian Butler
Just fucking fold us into 2ch and let the nips ban everyone who can't speak moon and get a nip IP.
Austin Smith
>what's up with Madoka threads The same thing that happens to any series with no new content. Much like every other general.
Henry Nelson
It still is. Post loli.
Samuel Bailey
Except these new generals wouldn't be on Cred Forums, giving generalfags no reason to actually post in Cred Forums, and if they did the lack of generals would force them to adapt to Cred Forums's standards rather than sticking to the ones they were used to.
Nathaniel Roberts
Add a button that releases emergency mittens all over the board.
Only when you were together under a moon.
Jaxon Carter
JUST DON'T MAKE ANY MORE BOARDS, LOOK AT /HIS/ FAGGOT, LOOK AT THE SHIT YOU ENABLED.
Anthony Bennett
>absurd amounts of elitism
If anything this boards needs even more to keep up with the newfag tide.
Pic is from after the fappening/goobergate shitstorm by the way.
Jack Robinson
>people asking for loli to be allowed Stop.
Gavin Davis
>Try making a thread on /c/ >I have. People post images. Are you spastic?

2ch is entirely generals with a board for literally everything.
Julian Cooper
Most of the generals on Cred Forums are for series that really are getting new content constantly though, whether manga or anime.
Nicholas Robinson
>these new generals wouldn't be on Cred Forums It's not like it's a long hike from one board to another. Cred Forums having the massive userbase and history it does will always attract people who want to discuss anime regardless of whatever other boards you make.
>the lack of generals would force them to adapt to Cred Forums's standards rather than sticking to the ones they were used to. That would never happen even once
Michael Ross
You sh ould sto p tyipn liky an spa z
David Barnes
no
Xavier Hughes
/ag/ already exists, it's called reddit, MAL, and every other anime forum under the sun.
I will never understand why people expect Cred Forums to have a place for every possible type of discussion. You don't use a chatroom for serious discussion. You don't use Facebook and demand that it be anonymous. So why do you insist that an imageboard be used like a traditional forum? Use the site for what it's made for and use another when you want something different.
Evan Carter
>I'm telling you to fuck off.
Why do you think I care what you have to say, then? Don't answer. That's a rhetorical question (look it up if you have to).
Isaiah Nelson
Ban faggots like this who avatarfag and/or are against loli being allowed.
Jacob Richardson
>Moderation works like clockwork when it comes to the Cripple chan shills I don´t know if I should laugh or cry Just imagine what kind of culture would be created if they really did that do you think nips would like baneposting?
Ryan Brooks
You don't belong here normafag
Wyatt Fisher
moot was actually pretty heavily into loli when he first created the website. Part of the reason was because it wasn't acceptable on SomethingAwful.
He got older, realized it wasn't socially acceptable with his real life friends, and eventually stopped watching anime altogether. To be honest, moot stopped giving a shit about Cred Forums somewhere around 2008/2009.
Evan Morgan
>what's up with Madoka threads Tripfag infestation. Once they settle in they have a certain inertia to them. Not to mention there are several prominent shitposters (both trip and user) who ban evade on a constant basis and have a pathological need to ruin everything.
John Rivera
>A board for literally everything Good idea Hiro-san, add every single 2ch board to Cred Forums as an imageboard.
Justin Martin
Sorry I thought it was going to look better in the actual post.
Tyler Flores
No, just extremely skeptical of your lies.
Robert Adams
Recs are to be posted on /wsr/ or /r/ you stupid assplanet.
James Parker
>nice meme So this thread shed light on who the problem is right? Anti-loli brigade seems to genuinely be cross-board and reddit tier.
Bentley Bailey
No. It was because people would post CP there and that's a major legal liability for any website owner.
Hudson Walker
Nigga you don't know what you've missed.
Imagine being able to post pretty much anything you want as long as it was a little bit Cred Forums related. Imagine being able to post every few seconds without captachas and that include threads. Imagine being able to dump doujins with only a 1 in 10th chance of being banned.
Imagine the bumplimit 250 posts and the board being lightning fast all the time. (I miss this the most.)
Adrian Lee
>using a reaction image is avatarfagging Idiots like this are the ones posting ideas, let that sink in.
Nicholas Jones
>Being this anally devastated that no one responded to a thread you made on /c/ about your waifu Just shut the fuck up and leave you aspie.
Angel Flores
There's the door faggot, get out, you clearly don't have a place in these matters.
Ayden Reyes
bring /l/ back hyoki or better yet, /lts/ - loli, traps, and shota
Colton Edwards
>Retarded. People who post threads, especially at the beginning of the season, with screenshots, purposefully changing the filename so people can't find out what anime they are talking about are what's wrong with this board. Nothing wrong with earned elitism, but undeserved elitism is cancer. Holy shit, what the fuck are you cancer doing here?
Andrew Williams
Or IRC.
Sebastian Myers
>Recs are to be posted on /wsr/ or /r/ you stupid assplanet. Tell me more technicalities that you are aware of.
Brandon Kelly
I guess this is where we hit a wall, because I completely disagree. The couple of times I've used /vg/ have certainly never made me want to use Cred Forums. And I really do think that if you moved the generals that allowed their bullshit somewhere else, the people who made generals cancer would be forced to adapt or leave. You clearly disagree, and I mean, this is all theoretical and opinions, so that's fine, but there's no real way to move forward from this.
>The fact you think Moot is a /l/ lover is comedy gold.
>INTERNET FACT: 90% OF THE Cred Forums TEAM DOES NOT LIKE /L/.
No, it was 2 of the other 4 admins that liked it, and one of them was supposedly kicked out and had the earth salted beneath him for it.
Noah Martinez
/his/ is OK compared to the clusterfuck /aco/ and /qst/ created with how mods are handing /qst/ and /tg/ in general both boards are fucked, and I love /tg/
Xavier Cook
And only for a small proportion of that time do they ever discuss said new material. I've even had threads blatantly ignore it, so people trying to seriously discuss it, can't.
Mason Lopez
>lolishitters
Jordan Morgan

Remember the anontalk spam.
Remember not having a catalog.
Remember idiots being able to hijack your thread by spamming it to the image limit in a matter of minutes.
Some good times were had, though.
Jason Parker
REPORT THIS FAGGOT
Benjamin Lewis
Or /aco/ for that matter Either make unique boards for it or allow it on the existing porn boards.
Xavier Price
2ch isn't an imageboard, you fucking retards
Ayden Mitchell
Cred Forums would love a board for Moe News, Job Hunting, Philosophy, Children's books and NTR.
Isaac Ross
>Ban this ban that and ban those that infringe the ban You fags do know that ban-dodging is literally a 5 minute affair, right?
Adam Lewis
If you admit that the board is such low quality that threads can be totally ignored there, then stop telling me to post threads there.
Daniel Edwards
>I will never understand why people expect Cred Forums to have a place for every possible type of discussion Because this is what normalfags do, they invade a website/forum/discussion and instead of integrating and learning the culture they whine and shitpost non stop until they get what they want. The end goal is to turn it into another normalfag friendly shithole where nothing interesting ever gets discussed and OC does not exist.
Blake Flores
I'm Cred Forums as fuck and this thread is pure cancer.
Asher Peterson
Well currently I get bans for even suggested said content should be banned. So, that would be the major shift.
Aaron Roberts
I would take all of that over how shit is now. >Remember idiots being able to hijack your thread by spamming it to the image limit in a matter of minutes Then make another one that is less shit next time.
Asher Kelly
How about I report you. Nobody likes a taddle-tale or however you spell that.
Logan Myers
>remember when Cred Forums was not trying to be a copy of any other cancerous anime forum
Jeremiah Richardson
There was a while there when certain types of threads would get spammed to image limit with all sorts of sick shit. Bakemonogatari threads were de facto gore threads for a while.
Isaiah Wood
Don't forget junior idols, gore and scat, and all the overspecific BBSpink erotica.
Nathaniel Johnson
Will this mean that we will have a general about hating generals now?
Luis Edwards
>a taddle-tale or however you spell that Seriously?
Cameron Morris
Desu
Tyler Powell
I was on both Cred Forums and Cred Forums through the 2010 user boom. Cred Forums has remained relatively decent. Cred Forums held out for a year or two, then we all gave up - It should now be purged from the face of the earth. Failing that, you could give a sanctuary board (/gf/ - Free Software) to the few of us there who still matter.
Nolan Clark
The word left my vocabulary when I graduated from 4th grade. I don't think I've ever had to write it or seen it written. So sue me.
Cameron Barnes
Yeah.
Liam Nelson
I always hear that Cred Forums is bad but I haven't gone near it in a couple years. I would say its because we have generals and anime seasons are easily structured. I know generals are a debated topic, but I feel it makes things at least decent for a board like this.
Carter Robinson
Bring back the frog And make Cred Forums - guro again.
Brody Mitchell
>that one giant faggot showing off his posts as "best quotes from Cred Forums" i the /qa/ thread
Chase Hall
Yeah I remember gorespammer. Do you remember the wiki spammer? They may have had a different name than that.
Jesus Christ, how long has accel been dead?
Asher Jackson
>The word left my vocabulary Dude, do you also choke while trying to eat?
David Taylor
Cred Forums passed the point of no return long ago. that board used to be so good, shame what happened to it.
William Rodriguez
Can't we just get /ag/ so generals can be banned on Cred Forums and go to die on /ag/?
Well not like any of you weebs actually use the sub boards like /c/ or /e/ for their intended purpose instead of Cred Forums.
Jacob Jenkins
Sounds like Reddit done right. Wouldn't work at all here, but sounds fun.
Christopher Morales
>muh loli >muh nsfw >muh traps
Liam Gomez
How do you spell it then
Jayden Cooper
Two dedicated mods for one board.
Anthony Johnson
They shouldn't have allowed things like desktop threads or battlestation threads. I also feel like Trip codes absolutely hurt Cred Forums, which is a shame since it's one of the boards that would actually benefit from trip-codes.
Adrian Price
Bring back /vip/ Delete all the other boards. Make a bot that pretends to MR4k now that he's dead.
Ryder Barnes
We do need a board on Cred Forums without post timers and captcha, though. For a while when moot got pissed off before he left, he took away the post timers and all the rules in Cred Forums, which was loads of fun. After a while, the board stabilized, and I think we could make a board like that work on modern Cred Forums. It's stupid that every board has to have post timers, captcha and rules. Cred Forums isn't even truly random.
Levi Adams

Andrew Russell
I don't blame them they are too stupid to detect a troll

>I always hear that Cred Forums is bad but I haven't gone near it in a couple years. Clockwork porn threadspamming memes forced to the extreme unironic shilling repetitive shitposting to the point of not return (There is at least a bane thread up at all times, sometimes 3, after 5 years) mods that basically enjoy the shitposting and ban those threads that they don´t like. Also the mentioned problem with CP archive.4plebs.org/tv/thread/74194852/#74196203 Its as bad as a board can get without being as repetitive and normalfag tier as Cred Forums
Tyler Hughes
Bring back /z/ Bring back /z/ Let people who are banned for infractions other than real life CP post on /z/ Bring back /z/ Remove the post timers and captcha from /z/ Bring back /z/

>tfw no one in this thread posts on Cred Forums
Parker Carter
No, because not only would they not be there when they are needed, they would be influenced by their inherent biases as to what they ban and what not. Not that there is a better solution, I'm of the "this place is fucked 6 ways from sunday" opinion. It's better off just leaving it off as it is now. There are a lot of boards that are complete shit, Cred Forums is not one of them (yet).
Jose Allen

Adam Sanders
>being this new
Eli Scott
This. The majority of people complaining about "ban this," "ban that," "delete Cred Forums," "ban racists," etc. are crossboard shitposters from /qa/ who have no business being on Cred Forums.
Adam Miller
Heh
Xavier Wright
It shouldn't even be here in first place.
Aiden Torres
Why do I need to know the proper spelling for taddle-tale?
Jaxon Thompson
Then you're obviously too old for this website and should move on grandpa
Jose Barnes
It was linked in the megathread in /qa/, which is linked in every single metathread made on other boards Its no surprise really
Nathan Hall
Oh hello, I guess you frequent all these threads right?
Aiden Thomas
When I say this place is fucked, I speak more of Cred Forums in general. Hiro, barely being able to speak english himself will not be able to save this place. But in the large fountain of shit that Cred Forums as it now is, Cred Forums is still one of the better places. For now, anyway.
Ethan Clark
There are not enough generals on this board to sustain an /ag/. Threads would basically never fucking die because what, 10-20 topics max, 30 if you're grasping at straws, is not 150. People could be scraping the bottom of the barrel until their spoons broke trying to find anything else to jettison from Cred Forums to /ag/, and still not fill up the board. If you move seasonal show discussion to /ag/ to flesh it out, then you have effectively killed Cred Forums and sequestered its most potentially good threads right next to the most stale/banal threads.
Otherwise you'll start to see generals pop up for random shit that never had it on Cred Forums, for example I can see people just rattling off whatever manga titles they want, and generate micro environments of like 10 people posting in the same continuous thread for weeks or even months. That is a circlejerk hell of the 9th circle, far worse than just having a thread about it once in a while on Cred Forums and having a large variety of eyes see it and possibly contribute.
See /jp/'s kancolle and monmusu threads. /ag/ would be much worse than that.
Levi Johnson
no shit the worst part is those shitposters will stay from now and on.
Sebastian Green
Why do you need to know spelling or grammar at all?
Nolan Powell
Please no, take this meta thread elsewhere. It only serves to shit up Cred Forums.
Jeremiah Russell
>700+ posts and people still posting discussion >"thread has run its course, nothing to see here, stop discussing what I don't like!!!"
Fuck you, nazi.
John Russell
This please. Not this please.
Joseph Hill
Fuck off.
Ryder Brown
no
Bentley Lewis
>new thread Do you not know what the words "one thread" mean? Because the OP of this thread sure doesn't.
Nathan King
Yeah I know but unless cancer generals are just outright deleted shit's going nowhere.
Jeremiah Myers
Bring back the banners from the days gone by. No seriously, bring back the banners that got deleted for being politically incorrect, like the porn and nazi ones.
Dominic Richardson
So? The whole purpose of /ag/ would be to remove shit from Cred Forums. Obviously it'll be shit when it was made to contain it. Why should you care about how good /ag/ is as long as it serves its job at making Cred Forums better?
Carson Wilson
>implying anything buyfag related is /toy/ >implying djt are anything but Cred Forums Seriously lurk more, and no I don't frequent those threads.
Hudson Stewart
>no one has posted this yet Simple fact is, generals don't fucking belong here. This isn't a traditional forum. Also there is nothing wrong with offtopic shit, Cred Forums fucking has always thrived off of it. There is a big difference between people having a normal conversation that trails off and someone making a thread about something not related to Cred Forums at all. Even those are fine and should be semi-allowed as long as it isn't common or consuming the board. The chaos is apart of the fun.
Gabriel Peterson
This.
Isaac James
>/qa/ was basically the cool, secret meta board for months >some months ago the usual retards (/r9k/, Cred Forums, Cred Forums) found out about it >thread quality dropped to the old /q/ level of retardation >SUDDENLY every other board needs it's rules changed Holy fuck
Owen Peterson
>The whole purpose of /ag/ would be to remove shit from Cred Forums. Again you shithead, it's been proved that that shit does nothing to quality of posts.
Lincoln Hall
I've lurked enough to know how much they belong here, which is to say "hardly".
Jordan Ward
Hiro has given his blessing for these threads. It's standard practice to start a new thread right before the old thread 404's so people can find it. This thread is about to 404. See where I'm going with this? If this post gets deleted, it wasn't me.
Carson Clark
Fucking Hiro is silently killing Cred Forums.
Asher Campbell
>It's standard practice to start a new thread right before the old thread 404's so people can find it FUCKING GENERAL SCUM
Andrew Bennett
>some months ago Nigga, wat. You mean years ago. /qa/ has been like that for as long as it has existed.

I fucking hope one day he just disconnects the server and keeps paying for the domain forever Better remember it as what it was at it's best.
Carson Lee
Go suck nip dicks somewhere else.
Joseph Richardson
Have you seen the thread you are defending you stupid faggot? >shitposting >shitposting >shitposting >shitposting >shitposting >Cripple chan shilling >shitposting any meaningful discussion was made in the first threads that were made about this shit. If that isn´t enough, get this shit to /qa/, discuss it there.
Aiden Watson
>cool >bitching is cool
Jordan Rodriguez
If only he was silent and not trying to fix what isn't broken. Fuck off.
Nathan Perry
Whether you like it or not is irrelevant.
Cooper Rogers
No, /q/ has been like that. /qa/ was basically the quiet meta board about which the newfags from the normalfag boards did not know about, at least until recently
Gabriel Wood
People from /ag/ would still come back here for seasonal shows you know. This wouldn't be like /jp/ where niche things objectively not anime/manga were sorted away, it is having the same audience here now be there but now without a soul discouraging them to be stale circlejerkers and, even if they didn't want to be a stale circlejerk, the longevity of their threads on /ag/ would force most if not all subjects on there to bloom into them. You know how some /vg/ threads are literal fucking chatrooms? You'd be getting that. Making it happen when it wouldn't here because at least it would be called out.
It wouldn't be like canning a fart and throwing it away, it would be like closing the door in the room someone keeps farting in and then when they open the door back up to come in, you'll get hit with a smell 10x worse.
Caleb Allen
It is very relevant. Its generalfag mentality.
Carter Walker
There is plenty of meaningful discussion in the thread.
Liam Smith
>some months ago the usual retards (/r9k/, Cred Forums, Cred Forums) found out about it It was like 2 minutes after Hiro's first post
Ryder Cruz
So it went to shit when all the tumblrinas started begging to get Cred Forums deleted?
Isaiah Jackson
I've lurked /qa/ for years. No it was not.
David Barnes
They did that when it was still called /q/. And long before that too.
Gavin Gutierrez
If we allow the mods to delete this threads then Hiro shouldn't get mad at them.
Mods delete this shit, we didn't ask for this.
Cooper White
Did /vg/'s existence cause Cred Forums to get drastically worse?
Henry Taylor
see Stop. made another in a day or two If you won´t really won´t shut the fuck up about it, but just fucking stop for now >Hiro has given his blessing for these threads. Things which exist but which I would like gone and/or banned: >General Threads (by which I mean threads of constant frequency with "editions" and so forth, not threads relevant to an airing anime on release day; this isn't rocket science) >saucefags
Speaking as someone who is only now posting in the thread and was away all day without time time compose my own thoughts on the matter, I'd appreciate another thread, or at least a sticky by mods to provide everyone enough time to provide suggestions.
Jack Nguyen
Learn to hide threads that you don't like and stop trying to impose your thinking on other people.
Dylan Robinson
Did it fix Cred Forums one fucking bit? Protip: no. You would think it would be really easy to improve Cred Forums from its basal state but /vg/ only made it worse.
Besides, if an /ag/ happened, where would the line be drawn? Would anything off-season be decried as a general etc? Could people shitpost astroturf to get whatever they don't like moved to /ag/? It's a bucket of shit waiting to happen, I can't believe some people seriously think it's a good idea. They must not have thought it through one fucking bit.
Lucas Richardson
This, it's pretty obvious that the majority of Cred Forums is content with the way things are now for the most part. These threads existing can only serve the purpose of people who want to turn Cred Forums into something it isn't.
Jordan Watson
Cred Forums was snowballing down too hard to be stopped by anything at that point. I don't know if it's /vg/'s fault or not, but it gets signicantly worse with every passing day.
Jaxson Gutierrez
>Things which no longer exist but which I would like back: >>Ability to Delete Own OP >>Visible Sage >>Shorter Post Timers >>Reiclones Trip >>Relentless Mocking of Obvious Newfags (a user-side problem more than anything else, however) Add to that list the ability to say that you announce reports or sages. Jackson Collins
Yeah because a fucking thread which literally supports best the industry is not Cred Forums related, sure thing, same goes for DJT which encourages people to learn fucking chinese.
Gavin King
There was like 24 glorious hours after /vg/ was created when Cred Forums was amazing. Mods were on the ball, discussion was good, some of the worst threads had been removed. Then inertia resumed its course and it pretty much immediately went back to being terrible, and steadily getting worse.
James Moore
>some months ago
Yeah, right.
Nathaniel Reed
My nigga. The general fags and saucefags especially need to go.
Jace Hughes
Here's a suggestion. Why the fuck are mods allowed to police other people's conversations? It's one thing to delete obvious spam, but deleting random short posts here and there is disturbingly common. Nobody on Cred Forums is actually bothered by these kinds of minor shitposts. Even in cases where the discussion goes off course, we don't need a moderator to get the topic back on track. The topic is gone after that happens. The only way to save the thread is to just roll with it. That's how Cred Forums has been since forever. Example: Literally why.
Elijah Hughes
Yes, though some newfaggot could un-sage it by bumping it.
Austin Martin
There should be a limit on the number of posts an user can make per day. This should weed out the campers who bump their thread because they want a continuous circlejerk.
Chase Martin

Henry Johnson
Oops, looks like I upset the resident power tripping mod. Wouldn't want Hiro to think that the staff cause any problems, no sir.
Brayden Evans

Christian Ward
>expect some stupid shit from Cred Forums >Cred Forums is fine >just stay in your board >lend us a bit of moderation please what the fuck, maybe Cred Forums is not so bad after all they still need to stay away tho
Juan Williams
There actually already is. If you haven't run into Google Captcha's posting limits, then you aren't posting enough. At least before I broke down and got a Cred Forums pass, I was running into Captchas that would work for a while, and then I'd get streetsigns or wavy letters that were never correct no matter how many times I tried.
Hunter Jones
>Learn to hide threads that you don't like

Jack Sullivan
Are you actually defending emoticons
Jonathan James
Sup mods. Keep trying, maybe someday you'll undo all the damage you've done.

If mods made an effort some good improvements could be done ban e celeb and consolewars and 60% of the board shitposting is gone
Nicholas Russell
>your living room The main problem is that you think of Cred Forums as YOUR personal space. You view an "incorrect" opinion as a direct offense to your ego and take it personally. In reality, Cred Forums is like a town square. It's (effectively) public space and lots of people with differing opinions use it regularly. If you can't interact with other people like an adult, which includes coping with opinions that you don't agree with, then you shouldn't be here.
Gavin Baker
Remember when emoticons were accepted on Cred Forums? Only the oldest of oldfags do.
Landon Turner
That's an actual thing? I just thought it was me constantly fucking up.
Jose Smith
Old Cred Forums was fucking shit Bring back Re/b/oot Cred Forums and all the people who made middle-kingdom Cred Forums would flock to it again.

Cred Forums is my home. I've been here for close to 10 years and the anons I've talked with all hold a special place in my heart and always will. Deal with it nerd.
Connor Price
After a while, it will give you like 1 in 4 Captchas being impossible to solve. Then it will be 1 in 2. Then it will be all of them. Eventually, even the hearing impaired ones will stop accepting any answers.
Michael Miller
So that's what those fucking street signs are for.
Jace Gonzalez
I don't have this problem with recapcha v1
Zachary Adams
Name 1 (one) real improvement that Hiro or the "new" staff have made in the past few months.
We still have 60-second timers for fuck's sake, which kills manga dump threads. It takes 3-5 hours to dump a volume.
Does Hiro even read /qa/?
Liam Walker
Jesus fuck this explains so much
Elijah Thomas
That's because you're not posting enough. v1 will give you two wavy words at a time that Google will refuse to accept. There's a cooldown with every version of the Captcha.
Mason Gray
MODS do something about HOLY SHIT
Jack Baker
>still no kana captcha

Properly contain all general shitposters by making a generals general.
Ryan Cruz

Gavin Hill
Hello newfag Are you logged into a google account? Capchas are usually much harder if you are not. Literally nothing. Almost like he doesn't care or understand us!
Lucas Ramirez
very occasionally, and he makes up excuses every time people ask for improvements.
Landon Peterson
FUCK META THREADS. The only thing you do is create a problem where there is none and make everyone unhappy.
Also fuck Hiro. He literally hasn't done or improved a thing since he became Admin. When the site was run by moot or even when it was just ran by the mods IT WAS BETTER THAN IT IS NOW.
Benjamin Lopez
>Hello newfag Literally what. >Are you logged into a google account? Capchas are usually much harder if you are not. Yes, I am. If you aren't getting the street signs or pairs of wavy words, then you aren't posting enough.

I don't think posts that consists only of "shut up u beta nu male cuck" (sic.) count as correct or incorrect opinions.
I could perfectly filter and make dissapear posts like that, but I decide not to so I can report the people who post like that stop shitting up the place, instead of making my browsing experience more pleasurable for myself only, as you do.
Jace Gomez
No amount of hotpockets can give us good mods and jannies, either.
Xavier Perry
And that was his worst fuck up.
Chase Martin
>Hiro様 私のおまんこにおちんぽ下さい
Andrew Allen
FUCK OFF JANISHIT
Landon Young
>Look at me i'm illiterate the post
Thanks doc.
Grayson Roberts
You started saying that every single post in this thread is shitposting () and now you are specifying that all that perceived shitposting is a direct insult against yourself. Thanks for proving me () right.
Zachary Miller
HIRO
BANNU ARU GENERARU TUREADSU
John Gutierrez
These threads produce nothing, it's just a weak attempt by Hiro to make it seem like he's being considerate. We'll have another meta like this in a few months and all will be business as usual.
Look no further than this thread. Any posts that call out the staff on their bullshit is deleted.
Nicholas Gonzalez
I didn't post that though, but whatever floats your boat.
Logan Anderson
Hiroyuki-san Give us back the old post successful page The new one is shit Black on white was better Or better yet give us the law and order one
Justin Robinson
>These threads produce nothing, 837 posts, mostly by people passionate about their board and how to make it better. How about reading the damn thread before dismissing it? Asshole.
Matthew Thompson
>837 posts, mostly by people passionate about their board and how to make it better
Yeah look at all the productive opinions and suggestions in this thread.
Then kill yourself, retard.
Angel Hill
I don't care. You defended it in a linear conversation without saying you were a third party. I just don't care anymore if people are going to do this and expect me to just know that they are a different person.
Xavier Collins
BURN THE FUJOS. MERGE Cred Forums WITH /u/. BAN THE KYOANI FAGS.
Cooper King
Plenty of them.
Jaxon Wilson
wasted quints
Connor Ortiz
>66666
Henry Russell
He's right, dumbass.
Wyatt Garcia
Anons have always been saying that things are shit.
People thought Hiro would be a golden dawn, yet all he's done is repeatedly ask "so what should I do next" and then fucks off for a few months until things get hot again and he has to come save face and make excuses.
Jaxson Scott
Yeah like these Fuck off retard. Meta threads are the cancer. You are the cancer.
Matthew Hernandez
>People thought Hiro would be a golden dawn Who the fuck?
>hey look he can speak english >he's our savior!
Gabriel Martin
>People thought Hiro would be a golden dawn, Nobody thought that. Any oldfag should have fully expected him to merge us with reddit. >all he's done is repeatedly ask "so what should I do next" and then fucks off for a few months until things get hot again and he has to come save face and make excuses. So like a typical Japanese person?
Samuel Barnes
Funny enough, your green text quote is exactly how it played out, complete with a few drawfag memes to make him seem cute and charming.
Then the months rolled by, and here we are.
Jeremiah Reed
>Speaking as someone who is only now posting in the thread and was away all day without time time compose my own thoughts on the matter, I'd appreciate another thread, or at least a sticky by mods to provide everyone enough time to provide suggestions. I understand that, but this threads right now are just not worth the effort. having them one after another just hurts the board. Just look at some of the posts suggesting rec threads or enabling saucing, They obviously came here from other boards just to make Cred Forums whatever they see fit It´s better to let shit cool down
Sebastian Sanchez
Yeah, that sound about right
Daniel Gray
So you WANT people posting images from their phones?
Jace Allen
So what do you propose faggot? What's so fundamentally broken about Cred Forums that you got the solution for?
Cred Forums is fine, this meta thread shit is not needed. Please get to fucking off promptly.
Jonathan Wright
Let someone start a continuation when this thread dies. Preferably a little before it dies so they can link back here. Give people a chance. Don't just decide for us and delete the thread because you don't like it. Mods, I know you are reading this.
Juan Miller
After the hell that was post-Chan Moot, people were hoping for some actual improvements.
Xavier Lewis
I think we can all at least agree that the mods and jannies shouldn't let their feelings interfere with their duties.
Samuel Phillips
Nobody with a brain should have expected anything from a guy whose first post was "test. am i an admin now?"
Christian Butler
>Who the fuck His spawn. Where's my board back hiro?
Nathan Sullivan
I blame the fujos for the current state of Cred Forums.
Jason Ramirez
So kawaii :3
Colton Myers
They did die, for a bit. But they came back, probably worse.
Isaac Thompson
>Don't just decide for us and delete the thread because you don't like it Its just me or are you Implying I can somehow delete the thread? I have no power over every single Cred Forumsnon, I´m just explaining to the best of my ability why that is a terrible idea, and I´m not the only one But go ahead, keep the snowball rolling
Dylan Johnson
I don't like yurifags too much either.
Brayden Mitchell
A moderator IS posting in this thread. I don't know exactly which poster it is, but he's monitoring the thread closely.
Alexander Allen
>It's (effectively) public space and lots of people with differing opinions use it regularly. No you dumb nigger, it a place where people lurk before posting, you make it sound like a place where you go and behave like you'd normally do in any other place, lurk more.
