I suppose they are. I started listening to Eurobeat after I finished watching Initial D and I guess my taste changed after listening to it exlusively for half a year. I still enjoy the high energy tracks, but only a few of them hit that sweet spot anymore.

They removed almost everything character-related in 4. Plus, it's not Akina anymore.
