To be fair only Surface, RHCP 1 and Killme Queen 1 were bad korean episodes. Cha Myoung Jun makes really good episodes and based Shin Hyung Woo pretty much consistently makes top-tier episodes, even better ones than a lot of the japanese animators. The shittier koreans do make decent episodes if they're joined together under a decent director though, look at this ep and harvest 2 for examples.

The World Over Heaven had to punch whatever it wanted to rewrite. It wasn't fast enough to meet Star Platinum's fist after being busy with GER.

It has to do with how SC is much more action and adventure oriented. DiU's tone and general atmosphere was just perfect in the manga, so the anime is only below it.

ADHD kids should leave. An anime with proper pacing has around 3 chapters adapted in an episode. DiU has about 4.25 while SC had 3.2.

The music in DiU has been very uninspired compared to SC main theme and Virtuous Pope among many other amazing tracks. And even disregarding the songs in the OPs, the lack of CG makes DiU's OPs inferior.

I agree part 3's OST was good but i dont think it is better than 4's. Personal opinion lads.

They gave part 3 two cours, so they expanded on many chapters and added cool touches here and there. Some of the episodes like Boingo and Hol Horse felt kind of slow, but that was only because we had to wait an entire week to see the second part, and at least it was a faithful adaptation.

Part 4 has been good, but it's very inconsistent. In part 3 we got some QUALITY episodes, but they were so few and they were just around the end. Part 4 is one week of a good episode, the next week with terrible pacing and butchered scenes, and the other week with korean budget shit. Not to mention, almost every episode has had cut dialogue or scenes.

They recycled the Heaven's Door animation from Reimi's episode?

DIO's World had 3 perfectly good episodes, and one episode with QUALITY. It's not like DiU hasn't had any QUALITY too, there's been a lot more in general, and that's not even mentioning how the style is simpler and there should be less.

Pretty much all the Kira parts were fine and the episode had plenty of other good things like it's gradual musical build-up and the way it nailed down the Kira moments we wanted to see like the picnic and the scene where he licks the hand.
Quality frames do not invalidate an entire episode.

DIO's World was a colossal fuck-up from start to finish. The parts you mentioned, alongside the initial Polnareff meeting, are the only parts that aren't terrible.
And it's not just because of quality, it was tremendously fucked-up right from the start.
I speak as someone who actually did read DIO's World before seeing it in animated form: was the blunder of the entire season. Don't act as if anything in Part 4 so far even compares to DIO's World in the anime.

SDC has better animation, but the pacing is pretty bad at times.
