People are unironically treating character development as "actually it was somebody else!".

When the second time limit was up and he woke up, it was in a room with no monitors, and when he was glad to be alive Kirigiri said that he doesn't look like he was worried
Another hint was when Kirigiri looked at a monitor, he asked her if she is "worried" because he noticed she suspects them
And with Juzo, when he was about to punch him but stopped, he knew about his forbidden action

He had some annoying behavior of putting his left hand behind his back and not opening it (I wanted to think it was connected to the drunken guy forbidden action), but he did that in the fight against Munakata, so this point is moot
