And so ends The Handa Autism Show, as forgotten as always.

This had to be one of the worst shows I have ever watched, bloody christ.
It just shits all over the original.

ended? when it aired?

So long best girl.

I find it rather interesting, in a semi-morbid sorta way.

>Eraser and Librarian eventually hunt Handa down to his rural island home

People watched this? I forgot about it because I've barely seen any thread.
It looks like something only existing to squeeze money from Barakamon's fujo popularity.

There were a few threads at the start of the season but they were full of people complaining that it's nothing like Barakamon. The awful first episode didn't help much with the show's popularity, either.
In the end it wasn't bad at all, though, just the usual comedy based on misunderstandings with its ups and downs.

I thought it was a fairly good adaptation of the source material.

What did you not like about it?

Well, the source is shit too then.
It's just cringy, repetitive and Handa was just am awful character that still managed to get his ass kissed every time, I guess I'm meant to find that funny? Maybe as an one off joke in another show, but a show just about that joke? I know it's a "comedy" but you still gotta control your narrative a bit. Just awful.

Handa-kun isn't supposed to be some "2deep4u" bullshit. It's a comedy about a guy who is loved by his schoolmates but doesn't realize it and the ensuing misunderstandings. Every episode had me laughing until my sides hurt. Sounds like you were expecting something that this anime was never trying to be, and you have only yourself to blame.

>Well, the source is shit too then.
So you didn't know anything about the manga but said "it shits all over the original" for no reason? Well then.
If you meant it was different from Barakamon, then that much should be obvious. They're different stories focusing on different things even in their source material.

I can't decide between her and Eraser. But Librarian's voice is so good I'd pick her just for that.

It's amazing how triggered people get by the fact that this show is not what they expected it to be.

>I know it's a "comedy"
Good old "knowing" something but not being able to apply it.

I'll never understand all the hate this show/manga gets just for being different from its main series. I enjoyed every second of it first episode included and the finale was great too.

>you were expecting something that this anime was never trying to be, and you have only yourself to blame.
Of course he was, Barakamonfags really just cannot comprehend the fact that Handa kun is an entirely separate work in a different genre with no intended similarity to Barakamon other than the same characters. It's hardly even worth comparing them, but they do and they get mad it's not the same.

And that level of hatred makes no sense at all, either. Everyone who watched Barakamon knew that Handa is an autistic fuck, so why should it be surprising that he was like that at school too?
In any case, I loved both shows.

So did I. I do think Barakamon is better, but that doesn't make Handa kun bad at all. It's just a fun comedy, it made me laugh a lot and that's all it needed to do.

i wish i had a handa version of this

Eraser spin off when? I loved her, best girl by far. Librarian 2nd best.

When will she appear in Barakamon?

I can never get enough of Kobayashi Yuu.

Adult Handa in Barakamon seemed MORE autistic than his highschool self.

>Handa normally shouts MUH CALLIGRAPHY or MUH CALLIGRAPHY, MOTHAFUCKA before punching people who criticize his writing.

Highschool Handa clearly wasn't filled with anywhere near that degree of autistic rage. It took months of what he thought was bullying to finally raise his voice and shout at people to leave him the fuck alone.

>Highschool Handa clearly wasn't filled with anywhere near that degree of autistic rage
he's not aware of the world around him how could he be more autistic

I assume that once he realizes nobody hates him and leaves school, he's free to focus more on his calligraphy and develops a superiority complex.

Yuu-tan is a miracle of the universe.

Would Eraser want to be dominated by Handa?

>comedy based on misunderstandings
so its shit

When done right it's pretty good like Angel Densetsu

What did you guys think of the ending? I'm glad it got some actual closure with Handa finally realizing that he isn't hated. It also makes me want to rewatch Barakamon.

Friendly reminder that X=12!

Liked it. Pleasantly surprised that they didn't revert back to the status quo with one big joke in the end.

Yeah I hate that shit, but nips always do it. Handa ended on a good note imo.

Who's the fortune teller? Did I miss something?

Almost two years after it got green-lit, three months after it started airing, it's the last thread and possibly the last time this will be talked about and faggots and butthurt fujos still can't shut their traps about how this is not barakamon and that it isn't funny enough for their tastes.
Holy shit go die in a fire or something.

Why the fuck would fujos complain? This has even more bait than Barakamon

I always find women making these "not funny" arguments in every male humor show and proudly exhibiting them afterwards at /u/ and on "it's time: threads just to have those idiots parrot them time and time again.
Unless I somehow ended up going into these threads on their shitposting hours

Handa threads don't have specific "hours". We get like one thread a week when the show airs and that's it. We're somehow more dead than 91 days threads.

Mitsudomoe was amazing though.

I loved that this kept showing up every episode, made me smile every time.

> male humor show
You're a moron, the humour in Handa is as innocuous and gender neutral as it gets. There's no way to tell if it's a fujo or a gay male in the it's time threads and I never noticed an overwhelming number of people hating it in them anyway.

I would hazard a guess that the majority of the audience for this series is women, I was recently in Japan and in animate stores etc there's plenty of female oriented merch for it because it's full of cute boys.

By "male humor show" I think he's referring to the shows where the male protagonist has some peculiar trait that gets turned into a joke throughout the whole series.
See: Sakamoto desu ga, Tanaka-kun, Seki-kun, Handa-kun

No, it works pretty well here if you don't self insert too hard (which you should never do anyways).
Also you can't properly judge things by marking things down on a superficial checkbox like that - unless you're simply looking for excuses to dislike something.

I wish you would stop typing like a 12-year-old.

>that burning handa at the end
Oh my goddamn sides.
Its sad to see this show go.

...

...

Handa, Mob, Kusuo. One of these will be my AOTS.

did anyone even watched this? dropped it within 3 minutes of the first episode

Nope, every poster in this thread also dropped it, we're just here talking about the last episode because we picked up on what happened through the collective unconscious.

Handas mom is not for lewd

what the fuck this had an anime?

PROTECT

There could have been more calligraphy.
I don|t really see why it was connected to Barakamon. It might have been received better with different characters.

No, were just pretending, but don't tell anybody. We're of course anime experts like you.

Sei wasn't shirtless apart from the bath, why?

>I don|t really see why it was connected to Barakamon.
It was about Handa, not Barakamon.

I'm going for Saiki. It consistently sends my sides into orbit, Handa is mid tier funny and Mob is just sporadically funny.

Shirtless Sei please.

Has Saiki been shirtless yet?

I loved the ending, my favorite this year so far.

Full ED when?

It's really close but I'm going to pick Handa-kun.

Saiki was my clear pick during the first half of the season but it got a bit too predictable for my tastes. Handa had a weak start and its premise isn't nearly as good but it feels like they managed to do more with it. And I still can't get that fucking eraser song out of my head

muh nig

This was a nice way to end the anime, kudos to diomedea.

Flac never, 48k joint mp3 three weeks ago

Thank you, was looking forward to it.

What a terrible friend.

>lies and make his friend suffer a trauma that isolates him socially, making him dependent on you
>when he finally has a chance to shine, try to steal his moment and publicly humiliate him

Isn't that what friendship is though?

And I never could decide if Handa-kun, Mob or Amaama were my AOTS, but is definitely the best comedy of the year. Will really miss Handa.

What a shame this will be forgotten, this and Saiki were a pleasant weekend watch.

Isn't saiki going to be 2 cour?

Yeah, but I meant that there was good comedy for both Saturday and Sunday (I haven't checked next season's shows at all yet).

>as an adult milks his friends art(penis) as a cash cow

What if they were there all along and we just never noticed. Go back and rewatch.

It had a rough start but I think it got better with each episode. I'm glad I stuck with it.

I enjoyed it, first episode was fairly weak however.

7/10 "it's not barakamon"

People actually watch this?

I liked it at the start but the comedy got repetitive and it turned into meh.

This show is more about the people around him than himself.

I'm glad it had some kind of actual ending and a reprieve from the cruelty. That little change to the ED melted my heart.

>about how this is not barakamon
One person complained about that, the rest was Handafags acting like any criticism of the show is based on it not being Barakamon

>tfw you will never sink the spanish armada with him

Dash appears in Barakamon

meh/10

am i just too autistic to laugh at comedy? because this wasn't even remotely funny

...

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

yeah

>horriblesubs
no

He's like a Harada manga character. I love it.

Best ED of the season.
