While the ending was ok and Maya/Phoenix reuniting was pretty cute, overall it felt like they couldn't wait to just end things and get it over with. So crazy that the "filler" cases from each game received the best treatment by far in terms of rewrites, pacing, and visuals.

I guess I'll miss the anime, just because it's been so long now. I can't believe this started in April, it feels like it hasn't been that long.

It's funny because the games have also called back to those cases more than any other (besides mainstay characters of course.) Especially basically every character in Turnabout Samurai.

Are you fricking serious, EVERYONE is ugly in the anime. The chara-design is atrocious. There aren't even 10 colors in total! Look at Phoenix's shoes and at his hair. It's the same color of black?!
Hopefully they didn't adapt AA3.

I liked it.

The only part I really liked was the childhood friends flashback episode because its status as an original episode meant that it wasn't just an animated wikipedia summary of a game case. (And it was adorable)

Fucking play the game, the anime skipped literally more than half of the content, changed the fucking characters to make them fit this lousy adaptation, and remove and add things to taste.

The anime is made to promote the video game anyway, Spirit of Justice and all other games before.

But they did try to please video game fans too, somewhat. They just don't spend a lot on it.

>2nd case: Episodes 2, 3, 4 (the second case was the best case the anime made and actually gave me hopes that the anime quality would improve, it only missed some build up, in the game White was the same devil, the anime make him look less evil than he really was)
>3rd case: Episodes 5, 6, 7, 8 (well fuck this, removed characters, removed even trials, changed characters and introduce lots of asspulls, of course it couldn't have been any other way by removing so much material)
>4th case: Episodes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (just removed lots of content, not sure what are they going to do later if they are planning on making a second season)
>5th case: Episodes 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 (and maybe more, that fucking case man)
There you go, a full 2 cour anime just with the first game perfectly adapted, i'm such a fucking genius.

Oldbag hated Nick with all her soul till the very end (and afterwards), she never helped him at all, you had to sneak under her and trick her to get clues, to get the last photo you had to corner her and make her spill the beans.

I really wish the whole series was just anime-only cases. The manga managed to be really good with original cases.

How? I just played the game a month ago, I can't recall any inconsistency in it, in a matter of fact it give you a more detailed background on why Edgeworth leave and had a change of heart.

The fact that Edgeworth is there is a huge glaring inconsistency. He was supposed to have gone after 1-4.

It was never specified when did he leave, only that he leave after 1-4, 1-5 happened just 2 months after that, and JA started 4 months after 1-5, it just fits.

I vaguely recall a line mentioning that he hadn't seen Edgeworth since 1-4, but I could be mistaken. I only remember thinking that 1-5 made no sense after playing Justice for All.

Not having Sawashiro reprise her role as Franny was a crime against humanity.
