I think forcing analytics onto a show like this is, I dunno, incorrect? If you care so deeply about technical directing like that then you should give up on anime in general. Love Live is cool because it's cute and if you try your best you can sparkle and make people happy

You obviously either haven't watched or haven't noticed the painstaking attention to detail and masterful storytelling found in anime like Utena, Girls und Panzer and Onii-sama e. Good directing is what elevated these anime far above the norm and they would be much less remarkable and enjoyable if they had a second-rate director in charge of them.

Next time don't flaunt your ignorance and pretend that valuable talent is absent from an entire medium when that simply isn't the case.

Perhaps watch a good film that's not animated one day, for context if nothing else. The moment you remove those shows from their anime bubble they cease to impress. There are genuine masters in anime, but they're few and far between.
