If this were just a series to promote the game like Sengoku Musou it might not be so bad, but this is intended as an adaptation of the first stories, and they barely even tried, probably seen animes made in 2001 that are of better quality.

I don't really like either OP. Both really fail to get me into the mood of Ace Attorney but the first is especially atrocious. Both EDs are great with music that serviceable/good for something leading you out of the show.
I don't hate it, and it's not that good, but I think that in retrospect CAUSE I FEEL made me forget this OP even existed. OP2 is just that much better both visually and music wise.

I blame the terrible music decisions on obvious seiyuu whoring and fujo pandering. Jesus. I actually came to like both these shows more or less, but getting through the OPs the first time really put me off.
Even compared to JAM project being same-y as fuck usually, this comes off as sounding poorly arranged and mixed.
Having went in expecting to laugh my way through the show, this might actually be a perfect OP. The uninspired visuals, bad animation, and questionable vocal work preps you for what's to come.
