Meicoomon evolves on it's own probably because it's relationship with Mei actually doesn't make Mei necessary for evolution.

As for Metalgreymon, it might have been an attribute of the Virus allowing him to just do what Meicoomon can do.

As for bothering with Adults, they were fighting Kuwagamon in the first film, so OVERWHELMING FIREPOWER wasn't necessary, Alphamon they didn't know what level it was so they likely didn't realize they needed higher power till everyone was trashed.

Mimi had no excuse not to go Lilymon against Ogremon though, and should have gone Lilymon a lot sooner against Imperialdramon, while Jou was just absent for most of the fight.

As for this film, most of them knew they were infected and probably wanted to keep the power level low in case one of them went Berserk. Did you see how quick things turned once Angemon went wild?

well, in this movie they have the excuse of trying to avoid collateral damage and/or hurting meicrackmon too much.

Because if they had all ganged up on it with wargreymon, metalgarurumon, rosemon and vikemon the fight would have been over rather quickly.

Skullsatamon never actually beat him, he just sort of froze him in place, he got back up and kicked that ass after Agumon and the others allowed him to break free.

We aren't even sure if the infected Imperialdramon was real.

SkullSatamon was also originally supposed to be a Ultimate(Mega)- it's likely they did change his level only after the episode was mostly, done.

If you think about the fight, SkullSatamon being a Ultimate would make everything more sensed

The love her crest symbolizes isn't a romantic one but a caring one. She cares for everyone else but doesn't pay attention to what she wants. She's probably going to end up in a situation where she's "sacrificing" herself which ends up putting the group into deeper shit (like Takeru hiding Patamon's infection). She doesn't want to confess her feelings for Yamato because she feels that it would crush Taichi which is causing distress in herself.

Unable to confess, she is gifted by a deus ex machina (Takeru) with the chosen's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, she immediately calls him, and is overjoyed to find out that he has a crush on her as well.

But, the next day, when Sora recounts the previous day's confessions to Yamato, he only looks at her with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, she finds out that the digidestined she called is not the same digidestined she fell in love with. In fact, he doesn't exist in this universe at all. He is Yamato's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with her own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of his crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

The Adult -> Perfect scenes are sort of nice with the digivice changing color and the crest covering the digimon, but I think the transformations sequences needs improvement.
