She might make "friends" maybe even get a boyfriend with the way things are going, but she won't change. She will always be a bitter, cynical asshole and the only thing you will do by trying to fulfill your savior fantasy is get walked over and tossed aside. People changing fundamentally is something you only see in fiction, people who are bitter, jealous, treacherous, angry, etc. stay that way. They may act out of character, often intentionally, but they always, always return to who they are.
